Super nice beach. It's clean. There's a playground, b public toilet and a well for fresh drinking water.
Directly a parking lot, which is super cheap. 1,25 cad per hour.
Boat and sup rental only on weekends
Not guarded by coastguard

If you have kids and are looking for THE perfect beach on the strip, this is the one. Sandy, water was alright, there is a park next to it. Parking is available as well

Nice beach with clean washrooms, beach front and sand are very dirty and makes getting in the water less welcoming and it was very overcrowded. Though it is the okanagan so I'm not surprised with the overcrowding of beaches.

Beautiful sandy beach. Shallow enough for kids. Good playground, has rentals and the taco truck (surf side) there is awesome.

Great place to swim or wind surf. The beach area near the south side gets gunky and can smell bad at some times of the year. Great that they have washrooms. Lots of parking and stunning views

No washrooms, no changerooms and filthy water. The only redeeming quality is the shallow beach. Not worth even 10 mins.

Went there for sunset until late evening and it was peaceful. We enjoyed a quiet picnic by the waters along the benches and watched people walk by with their dogs. Live music in the background by a local bar was a pleasant bonus and the ambience itself was just memorable. Clean and spacious with well maintained washrooms.

I live right beside this beach and it awedome:) Great for kids with a playground at one end of the beach. The water stays shallow fairly far out and there's always a tacho bender there that has cherittos or however you spell it lol. You can also rent water bikes and peddle boat, paddle boards.

Everything you need. Sand. Swimmable water. Bathrooms and change rooms. Grass. Playground. Parking.
Loss of 1 star goes to the water needs tk be cleaned up. Both natural and people garbage floating around.
And, parking is an issue during busy times.y husband dropped us off and left. There was parking around 6pm as people were leaving.

Nice sandy beach! Great for swimming and leisure paddle sports. The lake is very shallow here which is great for families. There is a kayak and paddle board rental hut, very convenient and much less busier than Gyro park that is only 3min away.

Nice beach with friendly ducks! Amenities include beach equipment and toys available for rent, public toilets and change rooms nearby and a street food truck. The water is shallow for a long way out and relatively calm, so good for kids. Plenty of trees around for shade, and grass or sand to lay on. Sand is the coarse and gravelly type, so kind of hurts to kneel on. Parking lot (payment required) is not huge but if you arrive in the morning rather than afternoon you should be able to find a spot.

Sand is absolutely lovely but I've never experienced so much sea weed/grass. It was everywhere. My daughter is afraid of it and how it feels when she swims.

Great beach! Lots of shady spots with trees, big grassy area, picnic tables, and lots of sand! You can go pretty far out and the water doesn't get too deep, so great place for kids.

Absolutely stunning views. Water, mountains and Greenery. Lots of activities you can do like you can rent a place in the middle of water (a floating house), rent a boat or go on a cruise ship. There are plenty of things to do here. Parking and traffic can be a little inconvenient at times. If you are coming here for the first time roads can be a bit tricky but people here are very nice you will not hear any horns at all for the most part.

Great family beach with quite a few trees for shade. There are public washrooms, paddleboard/water sport rentals and a play area for kids. Great taco truck on site as well. Pay parking.

A lovely beach in the Mission area of Kelowna. Wheelchair ramp into the water was closed but hopefully will open again soon. Nice place to watch the sunset. Very clean.

Well groomed sandy beach. Close to kayak and paddle board rentals. Great views across the lake.

The parking space is very close to the beach, the sand is fine, the water is calm, and a good place to play in the water in summer.

Quiet, family friendly beach. Sandbar goes way way out and stays quite shallow making it a perfect beach for kids and not-so-strong swimmers. There is a rental place as well as changerooms and a playground right on the sand! Also some big beautiful trees overlooking the water offer shady spots.

Awesome beach for the whole family. We bike here as you don't need much to have a perfect day. Lots of food and snack available locally. Great washroom / change rooms and the beach is professionally maintained, i.e. They "rake" it yo maintain its pristine cleanliness. Rentals available for the older kids and a super gentle slope for the little ones. Don't forget to pack pails and shovels to make a record-breaking sand castle!

Definitely, family friendly and quiet during weekdays. Smaller beach, shallow and warm.
Great for floaters. There’s a water sports rental (with super friendly staff) and there’s a bathroom nearby. Make sure to bring food and drinks, there’s nothing much around, just a tacos food truck.

Place was good! Clean but just a little too windy at times. Plenty of trees but bring an umbrella coz the sun's right on your face

This Beach is awesome, it's small and good for small children. The water is shallow for a while so you can wander for a bit. Come early to find a spot in the shade.

Beautiful park right in Central kelowna. Parking is $1/hr. There's change rooms and toilets available. You can also rent water sports equipment like paddleboards, trikes, etc. Although the temperature was +33, the wind was about to pickup around 1: 30pm so they couldn't rent anymore so we didn't get a chance to do that but we still had fun at the beach! There's also a taco food truck on site and the beach is located near shops and restaurants so you can enjoy that later!

Nice park. The beach is good and you can rent water sport stuff. They have a food truck in the parking lot.

The paid parking is kind of a downer- a dollar for an hour or 6 for the whole day.

Otherwise, it's a beautiful place to go see the lake- the beach is nice and decently cleaned too. The bathrooms are also decent enough.

Beautiful scenery, public wash rooms; rental equipment for the family. Definitely a hot day cool down spot. Always clean and great people around.

Very great beach to enjoy the sun, the water, and the beauty of the Okanagan! I usually come down to this beach at least one day a week and enjoy the sunset set over beautiful Okanagan lake. This is a great beach because it’s family friendly and also close to restaurants/stores! Definitely check this beach out if you’re in town!

It more of a quiter beach mostly families, you can rent boards and other water toys. I personally like the walk ramp. Where you can get your feet wet and has something you can hold onto. The main drop off is pretty far out from the actual beach. Few rocks mostly sand in the water

Love beach, hass grass and picnic areas. Only issue is theres a limited number of parking areas but it wasn't hard finding one. Water is a bit murky but its fine. Good place for the family

Always been a wonderful place to stay I often come here at night to view the stars and also to go to that watch lights of smack dab on the other side parking is quite Limited especially when it is busy but it's still a lot more convenient than gyro

Nice beach but will become too crowded next year when all the new residents will move into the condos across the street.so far good.

An excellent Beach to hang out on. The sand is nice and soft, the water is typically warm because it's quite shallow for a long distance from Shore. The only drawback to this beach would be a distinct lack of parking, come early to get a good spot or plan to walk a few blocks to get there.

It was a beautiful place but the women's bathroom had no toilet paper. That would and the lack of parking would be the only downside. Other than that great place

Beautiful, quiet. Not the best swimming hole but I usually don't swim here. Lots of trees, restrooms are ok could use more toilets. My favorite place to read and sit by the lake.

Another beautiful beach. Love to come and watch h the para sailers when it's windy and all the kids splashing when it's sunny. Beautiful park

Kite spot when windy. Water is a bit murky. Seasonal bathroom, change room. Parking but limited. Great southwest exposure. Play ground set for children or young at heart adults. Iconic tree at the waters edge was great for photos until the Manteo docks where installed.

Love this beach. Great sand, play structure and it has bathrooms. Plenty of picnic tables too. The water is nice and it is shallow for quite far which makes it awesome for little kids.

Even in the winter Rotary is a great spot to catch golden hour between the mountains. In the summer the park is full of families barbecuing and having fun. Definitely a busy place and one of my favorites on this side of the city.

Good parking in the off season, nice quiet park to sit and have a coffee and look over the lake. It goes without saying that it's the opposite in summer.
