Rothewood Academy South Surrey

Our son, Walter, has been a part of Rothewood Academy for nearly three years, and our experience with the school has been incredibly positive. The teachers show exceptional attentiveness to the children's needs, creating a safe and welcoming environment where interpersonal skills are nurtured and developed. The fact that his excitment of going to school everyday and meet his friends and teacher speaks for itself. Thanks Rothewood academy!

We have had the privilege of sending both our children to Rothewood academy south Surrey, and our experience has been nothing short of fantastic.

From the moment we walked through the doors, it was evident that the staff at Rothewood academy south Surrey genuinely cares about the well-being and happiness of the children. Our older one attended when he was two, and now our younger one is enjoying the same nurturing environment.

The staff goes above and beyond to create a warm and engaging atmosphere. Our kids have not only learned essential skills but have also developed a love for learning, thanks to the creative and educational activities provided.

Both of our kids were in Rothewood and one currently still there. The choice to join Rothewood when a space became available was an easy one - the tour with the vice principal was so welcoming and made us feel comfort that this is the right place for our children. We had toured other daycares at the same time but did not get that feeling - always go with your gut instinct. The Principal and vice principal always greet you with a cheerful smile and are so wonderful! The teachers are so loving and welcoming - we feel comfort knowing our kids are cared for in the best way. They provide a supporting environment and help children break out of their shell - our daughter was very shy and reserved but over the years she def broke out of her shell and I give that to the teachers at rothewood. The set curriculum is wonderful as you know the kids are learning at the same time which has made the K adjustment east. Meals are provided which is amazing! Don’t have to worry about prepping snacks and lunch - they do have different options available to help with any food sensitivities. Thank you rothewood for helping our kids bloom into little individuals ready to conquer elementary.

Joining our child in this school is among the best decisions we made.
We started at the age of 1 year in the baby class.

The teachers and administrators are competent, empathetic and adaptive.

They have taken extreme care in noticing every detail of the child’s development, and have also coached/guided us to work as a team to accelerate any areas where the kid needed fine tuning.

The environment is extremely friendly and our kid loves going to school and recites the names of every teacher and students with fondness.

We would like to specially thank Ms. Uppal, Ms. Nav, Ms. Tehari, Ms. Jiang in the baby class. Ms. Sandhu, Ms. Gill, Ms. Su, and Ms. Gurung in the Jk, and Ms. Sumra and Ms. Kakkar for their caring leadership.

Your presence and efforts make us secure and confident about our kids development and happiness when at school.

Can’t say enough good things about this daycare! It has been a god send for us, both my daughters (baby class and JK2) are enrolled full time. We’re been with them for over 3 years now and we’re couldn’t be happier with the staff and facilities. The principal and vice principal are extraordinary, they run a tight ship:)

Be careful to register this daycare, every penny you give to them never get it back. We have give the deposit before COVID and not use the service for 1 day and they agree to keep our deposit on hold. Now my kids went to elementary school, they refuse to give us deposit refund. The owner very unreasonable and the center has a bandit policy to do anything to keep your deposit. The owner reply information not correct, we never been offered for deposit return from the center as special event even we wait over 4 months for the center to open and only been offer the spot once back to August 4th, 2020 when the center reopen not multiple times. At the register we are agree to use the deposit to confirm a space and after we have deposit on hold we been told by email our space is no guarantee. We choose to believe the reputation of Rothewood and paid deposit before the white Rock center established, but we are very disappoinment for we have received.

I had the greatest experience with the Principle Ms. Sumra. She is the most amazing, wonderful, and caring person ever. Everyone loves her (parents & kids). She is the soul and the heart of Rothewood. The teachers are wonderful, well trained and educated. I referred many friends to the daycare, and I believe their opinions will be as mine.

If u have a concern about a Childcare and if u wanna be worries free while u r at work or away from your beloved; this is the right place. They are such a wonderful caring and kind team. I really appreciate them for everything that they have done for my children.

We are very happy with the experience of having our son at Rothewood Academy. He loves the daycare, the teachers and all of his friends. We love them all too. They are very passionate, friendly, and caring.

I can't say how amazing the staff are with my little one. She is unique and they respect each child is different, they learn differently and they have specific needs. She's free to be an individual while at the same time is developing lifelong relationships and having fun being educated. We love Rothewood.

The Principal Raj Sumra and Vice Principal Tarwinder Kakkar, they both are very nice and so excellent. They both are very professional, they can settle down everything quickly, and solve the problems smoothly. They calm the first entry kids very skillful. I can see in this location that the kids love these 2 principals more although they are not the teaches who stay with kids most time. They loves the kids also they respect the parents.
I will update the teaches in the class later on. I believe the excellent managers will have an excellent team.

Our son has been going to this day care for over two months and I have to say this is one of the best day care in white rock/south Surrey area. The principle and teachers here are very thoughtful and care and great shout out to Ms. Chan at baby class who truly care for our son. We can rest assure our son would be happy and greatly taken care of the day he is in.

This daycare opens at 7 am, it is really friendly for parents who need to work early in the morning. My elder son just graduated from JK3 this Auguest. He had a great year there.
Now my younger son start at his 19 months. It only took a week for him to adapt there. I am so glad I choose this daycare institution.

Rothewood is an amazing environment for your little ones. From the moment we had our orientation I knew it was the right place for our kids. The staff and teachers are extremely attentive and very supportive in all aspects. Can’t say enough lovely things!

Enrolled my son in Rothewood south Surrey in February with a doubt if its going to be worth it. But all my apprehensions came to an end, all thanks to the wonderful and extremely caring staff. The facility is BEAUTIFULLY planned and very child user friendly.practical age appropriate outdoor play area. Clean and hygienic kitchen to serve the tiny tumblers with nutritious meals. Trust me.it will the best ever investment you make for your child. Every seed needs a fertile soil to sprout, and Rothewood will prove to be one.

Our son has been attending Rothewood Academy for almost 3 years since Sep 2016. We chose the school because of its reputation, and we stay here for 3 years because of its greatest teachers. We love the facility, teachers, staff, curriculum and atmosphere here of the school, and it is like our extended family. The teachers are so kind, knowledgeable and experienced, and we appreciate that our son has always been looked after well and been given the best care we can never imagine. We have no hesitation in recommending Rothewood Academy to our friends who are looking for the best daycare centre.

Don’t go to this daycare! The manager has no credibility at all. The school was CEFA before so I registered for my two kids with the deposit 400 dollars and they put them on the wait list. I have waited for 5 months, 3 weeks ago they changed everything from CEFA to another brand Rothewood Academy without any notice until I went to school and found such changes. Since it’s not CEFA anymore, therefore I asked the principal to cancel the registration and get my refund. I was told to call the manager for the cancellation. I already sent 4 e-mails and called the manager 10 times, everytime I call the manager, he always promise to give me the answer tomorrow. It has already been 3 weeks. Now the manager doesn’t answer the phone. I feel like the manage doesn’t want to solve the problem and give any refund at all.

For the principal, I went to the daycare in person and principal just told me to contact the manager and ignore us. They have no respect for the parent.

So the question is that do you want to bring you kids to the such daycare with such manager and principal?

Charlie went to here for almost 2 1/2 years and it has honestly been the best experience we could ever have asked for. The best facility, teachers and curriculum that anyone could ever want. I would not hesitate to refer all our family and friends to Rothewood. Absolutely amazing! You have setup Charlie for success! Thank you so much!

They never respond back when it comes down to refunding/reimbursing the money. I was promised that I would get $250 uniform fee as a reimbursement but they never send the cheque. Also, I went to the daycare (at that time I even saw the owner in front of me!) but the principal just told me the owner will contact me. Went there 3 times in person, sent many emails, however, never heard from them. DO NOT EXPECT GETTING YOUR MONEY REIMBURSED!

I couldn't add to the response from the previous complaint so I had to log in different ID. To add more detail to the issue about reimbursement, last month payment which was already made at the beginning of the registration that is the reason why I was supposed to get the cheque back instead of paying tuition fee less $250. (on the last day, the principal and vice principal discussed in front of me that the reimbursement shouldn't be a problem and the owner will contact me directly which had never happened.) Also, it wasn't 6 months that I had to stay for the reimbursement (as many other parents in my daughter's class got reimbursed at the 4th month) I knew it would end up being "she said he said thing" and eventually I wouldn't get my money back because I heard what happened with the reimbursement issue from other moms who warned me before I drop my daughter out. That is the reason why I wasn't complaining about it more, however, every time when I went there I was told that the owner is going to contact me and the principal asked me to leave my contact number not the way it was explained in 3 hours ago comment here. Now, it has changed the name and it's not CEFA anymore, therefore (even though it is the same owner and same principal) the owner will say that it's not CEFA anymore excuse. However, I want to add that it is not a good way to deal with the business.

I want say 2 fact happened in this school.
They raised tuition with only 2 weeks notice.
And they changed everything (except staff) including name and curriculum and uniform during summer vacation with only 3day notice.
Do not expect any respect for parent.
