Enjoying a mild December on the patio. Delicious breakfast sandwich (one of the best imho), rich americano. This place is a gem.

Been going here for over 20 years and I have never not once had a bad experience. The food & baked goods have always been some of the best on the island.

Best Apple fritters on the island. Great strudels as well, lovely bakery with lots of selection. Great place to stop in for a savory treat or a sweet and a coffee

Lots of yummy looking treats. Staff was friendly and kind. Lots of people either eating in or takiing out. Cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing was decadent. Would have been even better if there would have been raisins in it. Highly recommend.

Caveat to this review - I didn’t try any of the savoury pastries.

I really wanted to like this bakery more! I pass it often, and had to stop in this past weekend, but I wasn’t thrilled with the quality of the baked goods. I got a cinnamon scone (flavourless), apple fritter (decent), millionaire bar (way too sweet), and a variety of cookies. Overall, most of the items were dry and lacked that « can’t just eat one » quality. I took a bite of each cookie, the scone, and millionaire bar and didn’t have a second bite. I did finish the Apple fritter though!

Super friendly staff, and was an efficient experience despite being busy.

Incredibly rich selection of cakes and biscuits! Excellent coffee, fantastic 'cinnamon scones' you can't stop eating. There is something for everyone here and of course the coffee is excellent too!

Wonderful staff and food. I love it! My friend can't have dairy and they had a lot of opinions and recommendations which were great!

Staff were rude after being asked a simple question, what was baked today?
Response was flippant and condescending, just unnecessary.

"Manager" deliberately tried short changing me and then acted as if they didn't and it was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Wow! We are staying at a VRBO just blocks away from this bakery, and it will be dangerous for my health to be this close. I tried the rosettes, the cream cheese cinnamon bun, and the sticky pecan bun this morning. All were amazing and worth the drive.
I can’t go back and try the pies or strudels.

Bottom line is they have very good baked goods from desserts and sweets to lunch items. My partner and I have been heading out that way for several weeks on Saturdays and it has become part of our routine. One week, however, we switched to Sunday only to discover they close on Sundays. Be aware if you go. Here's a couple of other observations. We have never had a problem parking. They do limit the number of people inside at one time but sometimes it feels crowded. The customer space is small. The coffee is good. They have quite a few people on staff so you are attended to quickly and the staff is friendly. They have a small seating area inside and a nice patio outside. The exit door is heavy and hard to open for seniors and small people. We'll miss them this weekend but we stop there each Saturday. They have a good selection of Vegetarian/Vegan items. I highly recommend the vegetable or mushroom strudel.

Was excited to try this bakery.

Went and bought a couple of donuts, rosette, croissant and a couple of other things.

Tried the rosette and it was stale. It must have been a couple of days old.

Tried every bite if every donut no crunch to them they were not good. It must have been a couple of days old too.

The croissant, every croissant I had from every bakery I have been to was fresh and had a crunch to it. This one none it must have been a couple of days old too.

The best thing I had was the mushroom strudel.

Thankfully out of the whole box I bought there was 1 thing that was a hit.

$30 later. Nothing I had tasted fresh. Only the studel because it was heated. But definitely will not come back here again.

My favorite bakery in the Westshore area by far! I'm obsessed with their cinnamon tea ring and strudels! Everything is delicious! <3

Ordered latte and caramel macchiato, both werent good at all. I was watching her make my espresso, she is definitely lacking the concept of making espresso, she didnt tamp the espresso properly just a light tap which causes my drink to be light and watery. The caramel macchiato was way too sweet, we had to dump 1/3 out to mix it with my bland and weak latte. The bakeries i bought was just okay, nothing spectacular at all.

So much to choose from. Even though I've driven by this place so many times, I've never gone in until today. GEEZE so many incredible and delicate pastries. Took a snapshot of the one that was my favourite. Can't remember the name but they are gently sweet, airy and light. Tastes just divine! The Ciabatta buns were so soft, and the bread ladder was so delicious as well. Customer service was outstanding. I will definitely come back.

I use to buy breakfast sandwiches daily. The last 3 times I was there, the already overpriced sandwich was so small that I questioned it. I was told, that their bread supply was the reason and this was BEOFRE their shortage of workers.
If you want to pay over priced, please come visit this bakery. If not, then you're better off at McDonald's for coffee and better breakfast sandwiches.
