Finding the right words to do justice to her caliber is a challenge, yet her mansuetude, awareness, and precision lead me to believe that she must be exceptionally precocious.

Dr Ken Phillips is our family dentist for the last 15 years and I highly recommend the staff and this clinic for the warm, supportive care, efficient service and follow up provided.

Severe pain kept me awake all Friday night, and my upper lip was swollen to twice its normal size by Saturday morning. I was unsure whether I could find help on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, and, not being from Canada, was uncertain whether a dentist would see me.

From the moment a woman from Royal Centre Dental Group answered my phone call on Saturday morning, I knew I was in good hands. She sympathetically, competently, and quickly got the information the practice needed and guided me to the office door when I got lost.

The Dental Assistant was reassuring and so knowledgeable that I thought she might be a dentist. Then the dentist listened superbly to me and quickly figured out what could and should be done immediately and what should wait until I got home. The dentist patiently went over everything I needed to do and made sure I understood before I left.

I think what impressed me most was that every person at the practice listened well and told me at every step what was happening and why and what was next and why. I’m not sure I’ve ever been treated so well in a health care context.btw, I’m doing what the dentist said to do, and, though though some symptoms may remain until I get home and have time for more extensive evaluation and treatment, I’m going to sleep well tonight.

Dr. Ryan Bernhauser is awesome. Sometimes he even calls up after an appointment to check in on how things went with a filling etc. He will not push you to do something expensive, such as root canal, unless absolutely necessary. At my last appointment, he ran all kinds of tests, such as tapping and various levels of cold on a tooth, and the tests ruled out the necessity of root canal.

I would say it was an amazing team Alex at the reception guided me really well! And Dr. Nick Thomas and the assistant, Jilanie did the procedure where I felt no pain and truly satisfied with the overall treatment! I would highly recommend!

Nice, friendly staff and willing to help to change appointments if required. In a good location downtown and close to the skytrain if you need to travel to get there. They also sometimes give you gifts when you leave such as toothbrushes, etc.

It was my first time going to this office and I had a great experience. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hygienist who saw me, Annita, did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and made the overall experience very smooth and stress free. But was charged 165$
Felt like I was taken advantage of as a walk-in
The receptionist told me she was sorry
She quoted me on last year’s billing
I find that unprofessional and believe that they should honor the prices they have estimated rather than uncharging 30% over an estimated project

My elderly mother has been seeing Dr. Phillips for several years. The front desk staff are pleasant and efficient. It is easy to tell that everyone gets along and works as a team. Dr. Phillips is very experienced at dealing with complex dental and health issues often associated with the elderly, providing realistic options without any pressure. He's always patient and accommodating when dealing with with my mother, who has both cognitive and hearing challenges. I am also so impressed as he will call to see how she is doing after any major dental work. Very professional and I highly recommend him.

It, as always, was an enjoyable experience. Dr. Phillips is a first rate technician and a first rate person making for an enjoyable and effective visit. I feel the same with Jennifer my hygienist, not only is my cleaning experience done exceptionally well I throughly enjoy our visit and have done so for 13 years.

Im amazed at the service i received at Royal. The outcome was beyond my expectation. I have dental anxiety, Dr Philips demeanour was very comforting and supportive. I was certain i would be loosing my front teeth, but they look and function better than they ever have!

Dr. Philips and his assistant, Maria were awesome! You can tell that they really enjoy their work. Also appreciated that they never pushed me to have x-rays, just accepted whatever I was comfortable with. They also made me realize the consequences of NOT wearing a night guard (that the enamel will wear away and the dentin (2nd layer) is even softer and easier to wear down, then it'll be the nerve - yikes)!

One heads up, If it is your first visit, there are quite documents that you need to complete.
But it is worthy!

Dr Ryan has been our family dentist for 4 years. He truly cares about his patients, takes time to listen to one's concerns, and comes up with solutions that are in the best interest to a patient. If there is a dental emergency they act fast to get you in. Also, the reception staff is always super helpful with scheduling visits. I highly recommend this practice!

Always a great experience when dealing with everyone at RCDC. It’s usually a stressful time no matter what procedure is happening but Dr Phillips and the team do everything to make it as comfortable as possible.

I had a dental emergency on a Sunday night and I am from out of town, not only did an on call Dr call me back, they got in the next day in their first opening. They resolved the problem enough that I can hopefully make it home to my dentist to have the big work done.

The level of care and service at Royal Centre Dental Group is beyond excellent. I'm impressed with the level of professionalism and service from the admin staff, the hygienists, and Dr. Bernhauser. I've been going regularly (every 6 months!) for the past 5 years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
