First time coming here, Mark cut my hair

Was super welcoming and friendly, asked a lot of questions to make sure I got the cut I wanted

First time visiting and the shop was flexible for an easy trim/cleanup to sideburns. Bring cash if you'd prefer to avoid a $1 card fee (includes both debit & credit) which is posted on their board. Sal was a friendly barber - I would recommend this shop.

I just moved from Saskatchewan after having a barber for 5+ years. I went to Royal Oak Barber Shop after searching online on where I could find a reliable barber shop with reasonable prices. This place seemed to come to the top in the Burnaby area. Mark cut my hair and listened to my request and asked me questions along the way since it was my first time. If anyone is needing a haircut to look fresh, for a date, or any special occasion, come here and they will do their magic. Specify what you want and they will do it. Highly recommend this place!

These people provide better haircut compared to most salons in Vancouver. Service is friendly and they keep us engage in good conversations and make us feel comfortable. Do visit if you need a decent haircut. Overall, my experience with them is quite good.

They absolutely butchered me. The guy immediately started hacking away at my long hair but I took that as confidence. I was wrong. It was not knowing what you’re doing. 1st is what I had, 2nd is what I wanted, 3rd is what I got

Mark consistently does an excellent job with cutting my hair - there's usually people waiting for him, but he's definitely worth the wait.

I've been going for around 2 years now, they have always been great haircuts and the barbers are all super friendly. Best in the neighborhood by far.
