Royal Square shoes and repair, clothing alterations

This man did the impossible for me, and I literally could not be happier. I bought these spiked boots from Steve Madden that came with the worst quality soles I’ve ever had. I went to 3 different cobblers in my area and none of them said they could fix my boots because of the spikes. This man made my favourite boots look better than the day I bought them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The shoe repairman treated my exotic leather cap-toe Oxfords with care. The workmanship on the sole was good quality. The color on the sole edges was professional. The polish on the lizard cap was perfect.

I think the merchant did a good job of putting new heels on my boots. He used glue and three small nails on each heel and he also glued down the leather that had started to curl and polished the boots.

The only drawback was I thought the price was a bit too high. I am accustomed to getting my shoes repaired at another cobbler who had recently retired and he charged half as much to replace the heel tips. $12 vs $24.

Still, the gentleman was friendly and he did do the job within a day’s turnaround so overall I’m happy.

He also used rubber rather than plastic tips so they are more stable, less slippery, provide some cushioning, and last longer.

If the price wasn’t double what I was used to paying, I’d have given five stars.:)

This was a great find. Our dog chewed through the zipper on the back of my wife’s boot and a bit of the leather. He did a great job repairing the leather and replacing the zipper. I found the owner to be quite funny. Thanks again for the great work.

I love this place! I've taken in multiple leather items that are either falling apart or have a stain and have found repairs to be very quality. I highly recommend this place, and the staff are also so friendly.

I have been having my shoes repaired here since 1990. They do an excellent job and it's run by a family so they are very kind. Now I am like a dear friend.

This is a small business but the owners are great. Fast service and prices are reasonable. Support this business please.
