Rumi optical is my favourite neighbourhood eye glass shop, and ‘Moe’ the owner is the best! Whenever I go there I know I will come out with a frame that I love and quality lenses. I tend to get overwhelmed by selection and Moe’s ‘method’ for picking a frame is fast and effective. He has a keen eye and ear and pulls exactly the type of frames I’m looking for each time. I've been coming to Rumi Optical for several years now. It became my go to place for me and my family. Usually I'm happy with my choices when it comes to frames, and If I'm not sure about certain things, Moe is always there with his famous ways of narrowing down your choices to help you (pay him a visit, check it out). He will always find the best option for my budget and I always get my glasses done super fast! Customer service is second to none.

This location is in my neighborhood and we went in many years ago, and have never been anywhere else since for our eye care and fashion needs. The owner takes his time and will explain in detail his logic and expertise which is always helpful and honest saves me time and energy consistently.

Recently after routine testing of my wife's eyes, the owner and his colleague noticed something slightly concerning. They quickly applied their efforts to get further clarification for a possible medical issue regarding her eyes, much to my surprise and satisfaction. It was above and beyond what anyone could have hoped for, the owner put the extra effort in literally. I appreciated it very much.

I was taking a stroll home on Denman today after not being able to book an appointment at Clearly on Robson and happened to find this gem! They were able to schedule me in last minute when I walked in! The optometrist is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I learned a couple of new things about my eyes that I didn’t before. They were also really friendly and gave me a good deal on my eye exam/contact lens fitting. Really happy I found this place. A girl with broken glasses even came in (looked like it was just minor damage) and they fixed it for her for free. Please never leave Denman St!
