My husband brought our cat in because he hadn’t been eating much for a few days, and had vomited numerous times.

I couldn’t accompany him, but I wanted to hear what the vet had to say. (When feeling worried/emotional, I knew we would be more likely to forget what the vet said, so having two of us would make it more likely we could fill in the gaps of what they other had missed.) the vet very kindly allowed my husband to make an audio recording of the visit so that I could hear the diagnosis and recommendations. I’m very grateful!

The vet was gentle with our cat, and, unlike many vets, she did not immediately recommend a litany of expensive tests and medications to line her own pockets. Instead, she gave reasonable advice, and recommended delaying any unnecessary tests or treatment. This is the best possible thing for pets! There’s no need to traumatize them with scary tests if we don’t need to. This is such a good approach. I’m very happy that we are now patients here.

We will soon bring our other kitty in for a check up. Thanks for your great work, Team Saanichton Village!

We were given an appointment within a couple of days on contacting the office. The receptionists are very friendly.and professional. The waiting room is very welcoming and clean. Vet Reed and assistant Cora were very pleasant and explained everything regarding our dog's diagnosis and treatment. Would recommend

Trust is huge and very hard to come by, so I’m really glad to have found Dr. Danielsen. He gives you undivided attention, patience and expert advice – no nonsense. You can tell he actually cares about your pet. The staff in general are all very professional and kind.

Dr. Stacey is wonderful - calm, reasonable, careful without being overzealous with tests and procedures. The technicians and staff in the clinic are likewise fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. I've trusted my many pets to this clinic for over ten years now and will continue doing so for as long as possible!

We've been using SVVH for a few years now and they're great. They take great care of our fur baby and even take the time to label her medications with her name and little drawings on the carry bag. Makes having a sick pet a little less depressing. ;)
