$21 dollars for this sandwich speaks volumes, this place seems to be another example of disappointing Jewish food in Vancouver. Save your time and money, and walk half a block up to the Subway sandwich shop instead

Stale, Stale everywhere, not a bite to eat. This is an apt description. The Shawarma with pita was dry; the stuffed pastries, which the owners themselves recommended, had smelly stale chicken—charged an outrageous amount for the quality. Did I say the food was STALE?

Great food, and welcoming atmosphere.
Had the Schnitzel and it tasted really great and super fresh. Highly recommended!

The owner Shimon is very nice and professional. The place looks very clean and it was recommended to me. Totally worth it.

I have gone there a few times and the bagels were stale and old every time. Also the prices are very unfair and reflective of the culture of these people? There are way better options which use better ingredients and cost half the price. Should have listened to my family when they said stay away from these certain type of people?

Great kosher place with good food. They have Israeli products like Bamba, Klik chocolate, "Elit" coffee and more. They sell cakes, Salads and pastries.

Buyers beware! This place rips off its customers! I went in for a falafel, which I had in pita, then put into a bag. The server behind the counter asked me if I wanted to eat in or take away. I said eat in. I was then shown to a table. She then walked 5 feet and hand me the falafel. When I went to pay, she told me they were charging an additional 15% because I "dined in". And then asked if I was ok with that. I said I was absolutely not ok with that! Firstly, having someone walk around a counter 5 feet to a table with a falafel in a bag and then charge for 'dine in' is ridiculous. Secondly, isn't a service fee normally optional? Why should one person sitting at a deserted restaurant taking no longer than 5 minutes to eat a falafel in a bag be given no choice in adding a gratuity to a bill? And thirdly, perhaps most importantly, how about telling the customer up front that if you choose to dine in you will be automatically charged a service fee! So she tells me that they won't charge me again (but proceeds to add it in anyway). Next time? There is no next time! Note to owner: ripping people off like this is what gives Israelis a bad name.

I can see everyone here complaining about prices but the prices are self explanatory when you consider the nature and culture of the owners. We can write books or do a whole course on the cheapness of certain people my dad told me since I was a kid best to avoid these certain types of people?

False ratings for this OVERPRICED, old, dingy place that has never even been upgraded! We've been coming here before but recently they upped their price from $9 to $12 for falafel and $16 for shwarma! And today added a MANDATORY 15% SERVICE CHARGE on top of our total bill (with 2 snacks to go) that totalled $46 (!) WHAT A RIP OFF! Just for lunch of falafel and shwarma, our bill came to be $46! We could have just gone to a restaurant and pay less than that! Never again! Definitely will not come back to this dingy deli place ever again. Dear hospital staff, be warned!

Good prices and size of food is great in servings, very friendly service staff, everything you could want

Terrible non-existent service dining in. The food is decent, be better if they didn't microwave the bread for the over priced wrap.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I eat in plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very friendly and the cuisine they cook is so tasty. I am always happy to have a nice meal in this place. I highly recommend this place.

I adore this place! They offer delicious food, their menu is varied, The cook in that spot is a real authority in the kitchen, I like very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are always fresh, the service towards the customers is friendly. I go often to this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

Good Baker, Antonio is the best, and excellent treats. There's coffee and a minute to chat, a moment of calmin a busy day. Then it's time to do another task, and go work away.

This site is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. This spot is fantastic! Fair prices, big portions and the staff members are regularly very nice.

Before you even get to the nostalgia filled snacks and goods they have, they make a mean falafel that'll bring a tear to the eye of anyone craving an authentic Israeli falafel.

As for the goods and treats? They have challah for your shabbath needs and memorial candles and chocolates and everything you need to bring a slice of deliciously Israeli goodness to your home.

I love the food at this place. If you like hummus and tahini and shawarma and falafel and such, they have the best in my opinion, plus everyone is nice there.
