Our instructor was detailed and demonstrated a level of professionalism, very knowledgeable. It was apparent that safety is his number one priority. Simulation of a range was my fav. He made it feel like it wasn’t an actual class and still learning. Def will be recommending his course.

Not impressed with this business. We had booked a course in December, then had to cancel due to having Covid. We then rebooked for April. We had called to rebook this one as my husband is being forced to work that day now and had asked to move it to the 8th with a few weeks notice. Not only did he refuse this request and stated they have a change once policy, which was never stated to me while talking to him either time. He was very rude while texting us telling us he’s not impressed with us and we need to plan better, and insinuated we are taking his business for granted. We felt the way he was handling the situation was very unprofessional and accusatory. I wanted to post screenshots of the conversation but it seems I can’t here. By the end of the conversation, he sent multiple messages and then ended it with giving us a refund and telling us to take out business elsewhere. Will not recommend to anybody.
Edit- just noticing reading all the bad reviews that this guy likes to argue, and will most likely try to rip me apart in this as it seems he posts personal details about his customers in the comments which is again proving how unprofessional this business is, just read his comments and see for yourself.

I got my PAL from Safe Shooter a few years back. I currently have my course for my hunting license booked with silver core. I contacted Safe Shooter about a month and a half ago for my documents as i lost the ones i got when moving. They told me it would take about 2 weeks to find my files. After emailing them with no response after that two weeks, i called them (it has currently been a month and a half since they said they would find them) and all they had to say was they were short staffed and wont be able to get them and that they arent obligated to. Ive already paid for my course at silver core and have had to pay a fee to extend the date of my course. So if you want to go with a place says they arent obligated to give you your own information, go with safeshooter.otherwise, i would recommend literally any other place for aquiring licensing for firearms or a hunting license.

I attended this academy on the 7&8 of may 2022. At first glance I thought oh no, but when the instructor opened his mouth, BOY, he is fullaw knowledge. He laid all on the table. The two xams, I mean yaw otta be trying yore utmost to fail, after the knowledge he feeds you.

I took the course mid December (December 18th) and we had two instructors throughout the day. First we had Opinder, who was a great instructor and taught me the skills to safely handle firearms.

Opinder had to leave halfway through the day and we had an older Italian man, whose name I don’t recall. Although he emphasized the skills to safely handle firearms, there were a couple instances in which I felt uncomfortable. Largely because it perpetuated the stereotypes of males and gun ownership, and because I was called out for my mechanics despite being one of the most experienced in the class.

Most alarmingly though, he used the n-word in our class, which left me leaving the course concerned about the hunting community.

Opinder is one of the best instructor.more than a instructor he is really an helpful and wonderful individual.highly recommended.

I took the unrestricted course last month. Opinder handled the course with such finesse. He was profoundly elaborate about the safety briefings and went above and beyond to make sure that everyone of us were up to speed before moving on. He seemed really experienced and emphasized on following the safety protocols. Highly recommend him for new hobbyists like me. I would be going back for restricted course in a few weeks. I took the Pal unrestricted course on December 18th. In the morning our instructor was Opinder, he was friendly, knowledge and a good instructor. After lunch he was replaced with a man I believe named Tony. Though he was nice enough there was an incident that left me stunned and incredibly uncomfortable.

When practicing with the fire arms there was an incident in which he used the N word. As a minority myself I was blown away by the casual use of a racial slur by a white male. It felt like all that is wrong with hunting and gun ownership.

I did learn the necessary skills to pass the test and receive my license but the racist language and the fact that Sharpshooter said I was lying when I reported it would deter me from ever going here in the future.

There is no place for me to use businesses that operate in such a way.

Very happy. Opinder was excellent. Clearly presented, lots of hands on time, when the exam came along I was confident I had the knowledge to pass. Highly recommended!

I just did a 2 day course with Opinder. He is an amazing instructor, my brothers and I learned a lot and we feel much more confident In our gun knowledge/safety. Teacher was great. Spoke slowly and clearly. Very easy to understand. Is open to discussion and questions. Very easy going. Made the test easy. I have no gun experience but after the class I had a good grasp of firearm safety and terms.

For me I took just a restricted course on a Sunday morning recently. Instructor Opinder is very experienced and made it interesting. We 7 were able to spend enough time to get
acquainted with all the handguns and actions. And the written was a multi choice. You won't be there all dayVer

I had prolong 5 years to take my firearms licenses, from Pal & R Pal, was very hard to find a instructor that knows the materials well & not side track through out the day.
At Safe Shooter, the day went fast, lots of notes. Had all the common pistols, shotgun, rifles & revolvers to practice & properly handle it. I was really happy with the instructor & the facility, they also had 1: 16 cast repicas of AR15’s, AK47, & Browning. 50cal, cool looking collectibles. I bought all 4 to my collection. I’ve researched this academy before apply to the courses, they had combo promotions that’s worth the money.
Highly recommended.

Just finished the Basic Reloading Course. It was great to get some hands on experience to get me comfortable with doing this on my own. Stoked to be able to add an element beyond the range that will also improve my sport.
The format was relaxed and they answered every question I asked and I asked a lot.

Excellent instruction! Opinder is extremely knowledgeable and candid. He patiently answered all questions and the classes were very enjoyable. I took both PAL and RPAL for a reasonable price. The practical was eye opening as we got to handle real but permanently disabled firearms to better understand their function and safe use. I never felt rushed and now have a good basic knowledge of how to handle a wide range of firearms. Thanks to Opinder I can safely and confidently begin my journey as a gun owner and shooting enthusiast. I highly recommend this course to both men and women.
