We got a little lost in here at first with the 3 floors but it's great when you get to know it

I don't really like how big and confusing it is! Otherwise it's great for my food shopping here!

Nice place but found some to be so caught up in themselves, they do not look up to see the customers
Also found that little by little, my favorite items are no longer stocked and have to go to other stores

I went there around 10: 40pm tonight to buy a cake. First of all there were not many options but still i choose one because it was important for me. There was a healthy, actually no a fat lady and i asked for her help to pack the cake. She ignored me so badly and talked rudely to me. It was so bad experience there but i will never go back there and i advice everyone to atleast stay away from that lady. My day was all good but after meeting her it all went to her. I really hate her and for the cake its taste is also too bad.

I saw the female staff member smokes cigarettes in the parking lot. The odor was very strong, so I was not able to breathe. My stomach hurts and I got a heartburn.
She works at the express lane beside the self checkout.
She was grumpy so I tried to chat with her friendly but she just gave me a fierce look.
When I asked to buy a bag, she was angry.

Why I keep going back is beyond me. Today I decided to go through a cashier instead of the self check out but really not sure why. The gal greeted me and that's about where the customer service ended. I brought my own bags and in the past usually the staff member takes them and bags the groceries. This time the gal started putting my items on top of the bagging wheel so I assumed I would be doing the bagging. I started filling one bag but the staff member had to wait to ring items though so I asked if she wanted to use the second bag to put things in. She didn't say anything but took the bag and started but I could tell she wasn't happy about it at all. She past me an item that I wanted to put in the bag I had so I said thanks but no response. I may as well have gone through the self check out because at least I wouldn't have had to deal with a grumpy employee. I guess customer service is a thing of the past at this place because it must take too much energy for the staff to attempt.

This is a fairly new and nice Safeway. It’s upstairs on the 2nd floor and they have a cart conveyor track to take the carts up and down. They carry a good variety of fresh produce. Parking is convenient and covered so no worries during bad weather. They also have a Starbucks inside so that’s a bonus if you want to grab a coffee while shopping.

Great customer service from Dean! Saw me on the second floor still browsing, offered to help me downstairs to wrap my flowers. He was waiting for me after I paid and offered all the options to wrap my bouquet.

This is definitely one of the nicer Safeways that I've been to in a while. The space is misleading as the entrance near the produce doesn't show the entire space, which is significant. The layout is a bit weird, but I was able to find what I needed to relatively quickly. Its location next to SkyTrain and all the newer developments makes it super convenient.

Toxicity 35+ years ago like another tri city location, and the managers were unruly bullies. I couldn't go into a store for 10 years afterwards and cringed at the toxic memories of cursed despicable supervisors. The union was ineffective as well. Have you ever heard of Wcb and Worksafebc and why they exist?

Fair prices, quality food if you filter out the processed ones and usually you will find great ready to eat food in hot section, such as rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, maple ham, all for a very decent price! It has a starbucks inside, liquor store and great parking. The vegetables section is pretty sweet too, ranging from ready to use packaged vegetables to some growing in the store.

Close to; bus, sky train, dollar store, vape shop.
Has its own liquor store on street level. Parkade. Lot. It’s a great Safeway

Sudheer in the flowers this evening was incredible. He put so much thought and care into wrapping the flowers to make them perfect

Surprisingly it feels smaller inside than it is outside. Mostly because the aisles are tight. And the layout of the store is weirdly split in half. There's usually a large section of sale/clearance items by the fridge and freezer section. Most likely because the items aren't moving as fast as they should be.

Pretty pricey compared to the competition, but their produce is high quality. They even give out complementary masks.

Store layout is attractive and really appreciate having the liquor store attached and accessible from the parking lot.

Ever since this store opened, which replaced the old stores, and closed the Lougheed Mall store, we hardly frequent it. Why? Because to get in and out of the parking lot is the biggest pain for anybody living south by Loughed Mall. Anytime I go this store, the cart escalator is broken, or the escalator seems to be broken. There is always a long wait at any of the registers including self checkout. The deli shortened their hours again. Even though it was an older store, I wish they would have still kept the Lougheed Mall store open. This was a mistake in management.

Meets have the best quality, trust me I tried all other grocery stores and Safeway offers the best quality.
Other products are a little overpriced

The staff were helpful and cheerful, but this location seems different than the typical safeways.
Went in to get lunch and noticed the prices were higher in their hot food area.
Lines were longer than I cared to wait in.
This was a one off for me, but I'll stick to my local one moving forward.

I recently purchased a box of Buffalo breaded steak bites from your store on Dec. 27th 2020. I cooked them for my family tonight and we didn't know why they tasted disgusting. They had EXPIRED on August 31 2020. I have taken photos of the product, expiration date and bar code. I would appreciate a call or email back from your store manager. I hope my family doesn't fall ill from neglected product checks.

Bit of a lineup but it went fast.still getting used to where things are as I dont shop here regularly but the Extra is for real, fresh fish and seafood and meat, deli is huge.not a great selection of Christmas cards this year but that seems to be the case in other stores as well. I really like the covered parking.

Doesn’t seem to honour the store hours they put up online and had me coming just to see it closed several times.

You can shope from any where, but here you will feel the support and service needed
The staff are the most professionals I have seen in super markets chains.

Theres a solid plant section with herb sprouts to start a garden that I've had great success in rooting.also the liquor store is right downstairs.so worth the little price bump from walmart

Great shopping, not very crowded, produce is really fresh, store is very clean. I will be returning.

First time at this new Safeway. Love the decor and layout! There was a lineup to get in as it's Christmas Eve but it moved quickly. They have a separate entrance for a liquor side that had a longer lineup. Staff was friendly and helpful even though I know they were cleaning up in the deli section as part of it was closed. Young cashier at checkout was courteous and provided good service. All in all, a great experience. Merry Christmas!

Great place except a bit of a hassle going upstairs to shop for groceries having to take cart up and down.

Very clean, well laid out floor plan. Great selection. One of the more modern Safeway locations. Practicing Covid protocols.

You can find many beautiful flowers and delicious food, Starbucks is one the best part of it and the quality, design and organization is good, but it is not as cheap as Walmart and superstore if it is important for you.

Big Safeway with a liquor store attached. Nice bakery and deli. Soups and coffees to go. Worth a visit.

I bought green onion for 0.99， however， it said 0.79 on the label. I told cashier and she told her manager to double check with price. She told me it’s 0.99 for sure. I paid and back to the area, and took picture to show the cashier. It is 0.79. I didn’t get back 0.20, just want them to know I gave them one star, just want them know, please don’t let your customer confuse.
