Sahara Courtyard Inn

I had fruit flies all over my room, which I did mention to the front desk person and nothing was done, other than to be told that maybe the person in the room before had bought peaches (he said while giggling like this was a joking matter). I had no hot water, only lukewarm water to bathe in, and this is after I worked all day in colder temperatures and was freezing. I called the night before I left to tell them that I was checking out in the morning, due to the room being unlivable, this was going to be over a week early after enduring this for 4 nights. I was told okay. They also said, well no one else complained or mentioned anything. I then had to call them to ensure that my refund was being handled. And as I "cancelled" my stay early due to the unlivable conditions mentioned above, they charged me a additional $43 refund cost. Absolutely awful service, dirty and gross. I would NEVER stay here again.

Great pet room for a reasonable price. Room was clean. Had a night stand on both sides of bed which is convenient. Staff were friendly. Handy to fast food restaurants.

So we called to book a room for our family which is 4 people and 2 dogs. Typical family i thought but according to them our family was to big and would not let us book a room. So discriminatory and rude.

This place is deceiving because the office had not been renovated yet. All of the pictures we saw on Google were not current. There is no carpet in the rooms. When I walked in I thought it was another Super Sketch Motel like one we had just come from. But when we got past the office, the courtyard was bright and fun. People were enjoying the pool in the centre. The room was clean and fresh. Our sleep was quiet and deep. In the morning when we left there was a young family walking around the courtyard enjoying the morning. I'd definitely go back. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's a hidden gem!

Lovely little hotel, little old school and it's very well maintained. Staff are so lovely (what made it such a wonderful experience) and location is perfect! Definitely would stay again.

Haven't even stayed for our full 3 nights yet and I have to say I was very impressed when we arrived. This place was in our budget and we can't afford any high end or popular named places. This place is all you need. They take major care of the property and you can see the updates they have done. Fresh paint, nice bed light fixtures, new flooring, flat-screen TV, newer microwave. Impressed. The pool area is clean and cute and it's all you need to enjoy a family friendly/ pet friendly/ couple getaway. Would stay here again. If you're high maintenance and need super fancy this place isn't For you.

Way way overpriced, way better hotels in the area that serve breakfast and are just Better in all areas… very loud kids running up and down the halls at midnight, yelling and screaming from party idiots at 2am. Management does nothing.they don’t clean the rooms and there is literally nothing to offer except a Tim hortons across the street and a dirty small pool that isn’t heated like it says… The pics of this place tell a huge lie. I won’t even get into how they keep deposits from people.save your money and go to any other hotel as this one is very overpriced.never again

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PENTICTON!
Great value for money and close to all the amenities. Most of all great staff and very clean place.

I originally reserved a room at Best Western but could not reach their management regarding their pet rules. I called this place and spoke to the owner with whom I exchanged concerns and requests and we reached to an agreement. Our stay was great, the room was clean, management was responsive, the layout of the place is really fun and family friendly. My daughter made plenty of friends with other people's kiddos playing in the pool. There is a complete kitchen with oven and some dishware, shared BBQ in the backyard and dogs are welcome in common areas. Great fun place. Will be back.

We are currently staying here and have been for the past 4 nights, the location is amazing! Close to everything, gas station, Quiznos, a&w and Tim hortons are all visible from the room. Canadian tire, and grocery’s are not far at all!

We have floated the canal and you can Walk from the hotel, the beaches are super close.

The staff here have been amazing! Going above & beyond! Super friendly, rooms smell great & clean. Extra towels are available.

Pool is great, bbqs and picnic tables you can Come here and feel like home away from home.

I do recommend you bring Your own shampoo and conditioner, and body wash as that was the only thing there was not much of.

We will be staying again.

Cute place, great location and comfy bed!
I didn't like the smell of the room when we first walked in but we were able to air it out and spray some air freshener. Room is dated, the bed covers might be the extremely old but the bed and pillows were really comfortable! Courtyard and pool were well taken care of.
I would stay again easy 1km walk to the beach but still close to stores and cheaper restaurants.

Found this motel completely by accident, the staff here are absolutely amazing. It’s a little hidden gem, pool is warm, clean, and this motel is in the perfect spot, room smells super clean, full-size fridge, huge bathroom, excellent lighting. Can’t say enough good stuff about this little spot, beautiful courtyard, gorgeous well taken care of flowers, certainly reminds me of a villa somewhere up in the mountains, I will definitely be back.

What hotel checks out at 10? Nice rooms but crummy staff and owners. There's fair better spots within eye view of the door.

At 11: 05 (5 minutes late for checkout) while my partner was changing The owner walked directly into the room through the interior door. Exits and entrances are on the exterior/ parking side, I didn't even know the door was there until he walked right in without knocking. It was the creepiest experience I've ever had in a motel.
Otherwise there's nothing wrong with the rooms.
