This place really lacks on respect and appreciation to honest and loyal customers who have been around since day one. Their security is more than disrespectful by racially profiling and making fauls accusations and being very immature and unprofessional being very good at abusing their authority. I have been band from here for nothing more than standing my ground

Buy water, milk, bread and eggs. Thank you for the easy-to-understand display and speedy collection of items.

Security is way too intense, and often follow around people of indigenous decent - I live in the neighbourhood, but on principle I will not be returning.

Not a huge variety because the store is fairly small but the prices are good on the items so that's what I'm giving the positives on.

As a person who likes cooking, the variety on many items is small but enough to still be able to make a decent meal with.

Though it's a small variety it's close enough to my place of work and house to make it convenient.

Decent place. A little smaller compared to the ones I'm use to going to though, also gets more crowded than I'm use to.

However there selection of healthier alternatives and food supplements consists of half a aisle so skip this place if you're looking for vegan, keto, etc

I went in with 5 gift cards with balances of no more than $6.00 on any one. The cashier was curteous, helpfull and cheery. Way to add the good-frills No Frills!

This beats Costco and Safeway hands down if you're shopping for a single family or couple, or even one's self, the prices are right, the food is good, and the selection is impeccable. This matches prices in the Outer City and the store personal are helpful and friendly, when putting into question their selection of meats, bread, Dairy, fruits and Vegetables, and a bakery serves this location 7days a week. So a single family or couple can start making the chances you could find a desirable amount of meals for the week or day very good and easy.

Get some of those dumb looking security guards behind a cash register so we can all get out of your hellstore faster. Being in Mike’s No Frills feels like punishment.

This is the worst store I have ever seen. The products are of low quality and the customer service is absolutely poor. Long line ups and panhandlers right outside the store. The employees and management is just ridiculous. This one supervisor Pranesh Kulkarni is the most ignorant and rude supervisor I have ever dealt with. He is the one who is always issuing parking tickets and yells at customers for all sorts of reasons. He must have bribed the store owner to become a supervisor. Also, there is a lot of racism towards customers of indigenous descent. They always have their security follow them around, even the regular customers. Please shop at another grocery store!

Funny experience. All employees wear shirts with no frills logos. When we asked where the dog food was a gentlemen literally said he had no idea and that he just works there. Thanks to the next employee wearing the same exact shirt for telling us where the dog food isle was. Hilarious! There may be no frills but there is something gimmicky going on here haha. I would encourage staff to know where items are when customers ask otherwise what is the point of wearing the shirt?

Not much going on with the big artistic displays or expensive ornate fixtures, but they do have groceries. Also the prices are really good, but outside of their cashier's there isn't a lot of eye candy. I do have more cash to spend elsewhere mind you, but not sure if it's worth doing without the visual circus. Lemme know in the comments

Of most No Frills it is a modern building that was designed for a supermarket so the layout is really good with high ceiling and bright with big windows at cashiers.

Consistent and good. Been shopping here since it opened. But it is no longer carrying PC Nutrition First cat food This is one of the main reasons I shop there. Now I have to go elsewhere to buy it, which is not very convenient.

We have been going to this particular location for the past 4 years. For a business that helps low income families and individuals with affordable groceries they should be ashamed at their chosen parking provider (Diamond Parking Service), who robs their patrons. We parked there the other day, like so many times before, when running errands between both No Frills and Gourmet Warehouse and we were given an $86.50 ticket. This is absolutely disgusting. As committed customers we could have been waved this error and given a warning. Very disappointed. You can do better.

Wow, they have shaken this store up since the last management, it's clean stocked and very well organized right now. Hopefully thus standard will continue.

Fairly good selection, great prices, the staff are nice and not "all over you", and the lines move fast. I wish there was more of a meat section but the produce more than makes up for it!

Use to be Sahota's No Frills. Changed hands recently, so far it's been for the worse, half the time stock hasn't been replenished, never have stock and shelves not organized looking full. Very disappointed, seems new owner doesn't have the funds to purchase stock!

Decent prices. Staff were alright considering the area. Were nice to call a cab for us when I asked if they could. One junkie pile outside; at least he was being mindful of the customers and helping round up the shopping carts in the parking since the staff were not able to round them. Seems like they are keeping the aggressive panhandlers and aggressive junkie piles out which is great to see.

We received a parking ticket after shopping for groceries here. The supervisor is rude and not willing to solve their fault.

The store is large and airy. Fruits and vegetables are a deal and they always have meat specials. However, the meat specials are tough cuts and need to be slow cooked.

The higher end beef cuts are limited and could be a little stale.

I was harassed going back to my car by a woman crowding me and asking/demanding money. She was aggressive and not wearing a mask.

It was intimidation and scary. I told her I would give her the cart, but she kept pushing for more.

There is also a passive panhandler by the door.

It is a bit of an obstacle course.

Too bad, the store is pretty good.

Great store. Quite a few clients not wearing masks inside or have their masked pulled down. Told staff about it. Let's see if anything changes since these are grounds to have your shop closed.

Covid measures are in place and the store is well staffed for a mid weekday. Though smaller than most No Frills I have been to, the isles are well marked, the shelves are stocked and items were easy to find.

Prices over a wide range of products are comparatively lower than most other older, well established markets. Nearby public transport makes this market readily available to seniors like me.

Great prices would give them 5 stars if they could keep the shelves stocked better. Especially on flyer days.

Kinda reminds me of save on foods with the yellow color scheme. Have found some pretty good deals here and the baskets are always sanitized

Asian cashier named SOWJYA (not sure) smiles at all customers and greets them very warmly. She is so friendly and always remind me of points card. Awesome customer service. Will recommend this to my friends and family.

It's cheap. That's kind of the only redeeming quality. Wait - are these Sahotas the slum lord Sahotas?

Free parking, quality produce and efficient cashiers.

Usually busy, difficult to exit onto Clark though alley and aggressive beggers.

Great prices, decent selection. This No Frills doesn't have self checkout, does have a bulk section. The freezer section also seems larger than normal, but it's hard to tell.

Good prices, IF in stock. Shelves become increasingly empty as day passes. Shop here, and you'll probably need to stop somewhere else, too.

They don't always have their shelves fully stocked or all the regular items but it is on a busy street and high populated area

Everytime I go here I cry a little inside because it's basicat a dollar store full of food and if you are what you eat then you would just be cheap and sad if you ate here. All the meat is scary and sometimes there's weird meat juice leaking onto things. For some reason whenever they have corn everyone shucks the corn onto the floor like a caveman. No photos of it so I included a relevant pepe.

I was very disappointed had strawberries listed in their flyer at a very good price but none were available. Said it was a warehouse problem when asked about rain cheques said they didn't give them out. Were to open at 9 but their were no buggies outside and there were line up at both doors. Just after nine they went to the door and opened the door at the opposite end from the parking lot. The employee was to short

I was harassed by a staff member who wanted me to sign up for a credit card. People going through express were way over the item limit. I really don't like the store.

Produce is not great, never have what I'm looking for on their shelves and very shady characters hanging around the parking lot.

This is by far the best No Frills in town. Great selection of products! Unbeatable prices for sure. Their avocado game is on point! Somehow they have big and ripe avocados 90% of the time.

Side note: the parking lot is kind of dangerous. Park on Hastings if there are spots.

Rewards program discriminates against single low income people in three years I've spent@ 12,000$ and gotten 3000pts everyone should get points based on a percentage of dollars spent. I can't afford case lots of diapers or two litre pop just for points what's wrong with my money and why don't I deserve a freebie every now and then

This is a great little store. Smaller than most No Frills, and in an obscure location, this store has to try harder and they do. I often find their prices even better than the other No Frills stores and way cheaper than Safeway. Plus the staff are excellent and easy to find. Highly recommended.

No Frills is more than just s wonderful place to grocery shop. It has many great deals and it is like a trusted mrmber of our community. Our family enjoys shopping there.

The shoppers are fascinating here because you get a solid cross section of every type of person that works and lives in east van.and that’s a huge range! Much more fun than North Van grocery trips. Veggies are generally dirt cheap here compared to elsewhere. Selection is good, but fairly basic. Has what you need, plus a few treats.

It's run by the slum lords of Vancouver. But at least this is run fair. Better prices then overpriced nesters for sure.

Clean, simple, good sales/pricing, and they price match. Product selection what you’d expect from a No Frills, but in a nice store.

This woman on the way in which in case you are not sure if you have to go park your ebike else where an so I can see if it would be great to get it stolen and it's alot harder to steal when there's people closer to get a chance to be able to get it back just got it built its custom made bike so a lot of my time and trying to keep it from being sobatoage or stealing it or its parts. I like to be able to view the bike from where ever I am so glad it worked out of course.
