Best tacos in town. House made hot sauces are out of this world, with a heat level to suit everyone! A neighborhood staple for a reason!

Solid choice for burritos in Vancouver. Probably one of the only shops that can wrap and stuff a burritos properly (rarely ever get my hands messy eating here).

Been meaning to dine in for a long time, and the place did not disappoint. Authentic flavors, friendly staff and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. Would go back again.

I tried the lamb and cauliflower, both amazing. The service was great and they made sure to clean every table for the best experience for us customers. The atmosphere contained beautiful paintings and very nice decor in the restaurant. They even had a children’s play area. Overall, this restaurant was a very amusing experience and I would like to visit again. Thank you!

Ah Sal Y limon.how much I've missed you since i moved to New West.it had been 3 years and its still the best burrito in town, period.
Always fresh always taste like a lo5her made it for her family and the prices are still great despite the price increase we can see everywhere else.
Service is perfect, fast and always a warm welcome.
The ambience is always great, i love the paintings and the music on top of the great food.
It always feels genuine.
If you haven't tried this place please do, you won't be disappointed.

The food made me sick. Literally. Asked the server what was in the sauce. She said she didn't know. The food was dry, the rice was old and the place is falling apart. I would not go back and would not recommend anyone else go there.

Good food and overall nice vibe to the restaurant. I got the chimichanga with a variety of tacos and some nachos. Portions are a good amount and the food came out fast. The chimichanga was great, but I wasn't really a fan of the mushroom taco I ordered. Everything else was delicious.

I had such high hopes for Sal y Limon, but my recent experiences have been nothing short of disappointing. I will be reviewing specifically their burritos, as I consider their tacos might be a better option after my last experience.

I used to be a huge fan of this restaurant about 5-8 years ago, and I used to sing its praises to all my friends and family, proudly declaring it as a true Mexican gem in Vancouver.

However, things have changed drastically since then. I moved back to the neighborhood recently and was excited to be close to one of my old favorites. The service was still friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely welcoming, which makes me think the issues aren't entirely up to them.

But the reality is that the food quality and overall experience at Sal y Limon have declined significantly. I decided to give them a second chance, going two nights in a row, hoping the first experience was just a fluke.

Sadly, it was even worse the second time around. I ordered a burrito that was not only overpriced but also comprised mainly of cabbage with just a hint of anything else. To top it off, I was charged for guacamole that I never received. Calling it the worst burrito I've ever had would be an understatement.

I can't, in good conscience, recommend anyone to dine here, despite the positive reviews they might have accumulated. Save your hard-earned money and head to Taco Bell or any junk fast-food joint for a much more satisfying and wallet-friendly burrito. This place is a far cry from the authentic Mexican experience it once claimed to offer.

Like everybody i have a different and a great experience at this place. I happen to go there for a quick bite during my break and the staff was very courteous and their vegetarian burrito was beyond amazing. Great team

We had the super sal y limon burrito with cheese, barbacoa taco, and pierna taco and they were all delicious! Please try if you’re in the area! You won’t be disappointed

Celebrated Cinco de Mayo with take-out Taco Fiesta pack. Loved the chicken. Not so fond of beef. Will get pulled pork or chorizo next time, or double up on the chicken. It's really good. Corn tortillas are very good corn as well. Guacamole was excellent. Their beans are to die for. Best outside of old Mexico. Go!

I’m Mexican, and I will never be returning to this place again. The horchata was horrible, super sweet and did not taste like freshly made horchata. I got the carnitas, el pastor and fish and it was disgusting. There’s no flavour and does not taste like proper Mexican food. The guacamole was nasty! Did not taste good at all! Was very disappointing and will NEVER COME BAXK! I am sick from the food!

I can't speak for anything else but the tacos here taste like cardboard - hardly any sauce and leaves a plastic aftertaste. Not sure why the other reviews are raving, maybe the other food items are okay.

The food is just spectacular! If you haven't tried you really should or you're missing out on one of the best meals you'll have. Portions are large

Today may 6th 2021, I was in Vancouver and I decided to get Mexican food and found in the internet Sal y Limón. I got a mega torta Sal y Limon with a horchata drink (coconut flavour). First at all, the sandwich (bread) was cold and really wet; second the meat inside was the same, quite cold, so I could not enjoy the flavour at all. But.but the real problem came 30 min after I finished my meal, I got a stomachache and eventually diarrhea. Right now after 3 hours I’m sitting in the toilet for fifth time. So, if you go there please make sure your food is hot or at least warm.

The food is excellent. This is our go to Mexican restaurant. The tacos filling is abundant. The rice for the is on point. Don't just read this review; go and order now!

Excellent burritos! Will be back to try their Nachos and Tacos. Can be busy at peak times but line moves steadily and the wait is worth it!

I’m actually a big big fan of this place for their burritos and more. I tell everyone this is the place for it. Had it for dinner and.it just tastes different. Did the recipe change? Did the chef change? So confused. Tastes like generic burritos. Others are telling me too and I had to taste it myself and now believe them.

Not just the best mexican food ive ever had but quite possibly the best food ive ever eaten had tortas, burrito and huaraches would highly recommend
