Sal y Limón Mexican Cuisine

Just charged $23 for a 9oz pour of chardonnay. Are you out of your mind? ! Seriously I'm ok with inflated airport pricing but that is just stupid. Buyer beware. Check the price prior to ordering. I'd give zero stars of the option was available.

The greatest fish tacos I have ever had. I’d eat here every day if I didn’t have to go through security each time.

This location is TERRIBLE compared to the other ones in Vancouver. How can the same brand be so far off? Food is bad, service is bad, and it seems like they are trying to cover it all up with a big bar in hopes we drink too much to notice. Besides the name this place is unrecognizable to the other stores. I will not be visiting any of your stores for awhile after this experience.

Kenny is AMAZING. We have sat here for a few hours and watched him absolutely run this airport! He makes sure everybody gets service immediately and is very friendly and helpful. The drinks and food were great, but the highlight of our time was being served by Kenny.

This place needs to get their act together. This location is a poor reflection and representation of the ones in the city. It is embarrassing! There was only one staff member working (sometimes there are 2 at the most) and they were moving at an incredibly slow pace.

The worst part is that this time some of the pork was undercooked - see photo. I’ve been very patient due the short staffing, and enjoyed the burritos up until now, but I will not be eating here again anytime soon. I was okay with waiting but I am not okay with food safety violations. What a shame.

Overall very bad experience. Staff is rude and arrogant. Food service is super slow and of low quality. Especially the person working at the bar likes to kick out the customers even before they are done eating their food and drinks

Slim veggie options but it was tasty, and the service was amazing especially for the airport. Nice to have another bar space on that side of security too.

We love the restaurant in town. However at YVR Took 40 min to order two burritos with only 2 people in front of us. At this point I don’t know what took longer the order line or the burrito making. Luckily we were not in a rush. I am usually a very patient person but this was painful. Don’t come here if you are in a rush - you will miss your flight.

OMG.how and why would Sal y Limon put their name on this pathetic excuse for a restaurant. I've been to their restaurant on Commercial and it was solid food and service. But this YVR outlet is the exact opposite. Horrible food and excruciatingly slow service. Not the fault of the employees may I add. This falls squarely on management of this location.
Took 30 minutes to get our order. Can you imagine if you were running to catch a flight? So many people in line were upset because of the long waits.

Slow service, pretty horrible food. Got two bowls. The shrimp were battered and deep fried, but okay. The beef almost tasted like low quality deli slices. The rice was the worst part - hard and got stuck between your teeth. Avoid.

I'm stoked that YVR is finally upping' it's game and bolstering some edible grub with Vancouver-based businesses. I've never been to Sal Y Limón before, but rate this pretty good grub and a yummy experience, this is easily the best food available so be prepared to potentially wait in line. For airport standards, your in for a treat with this street food esque Mexican experience.
We snagged two Tinga Vegetariana Burrito's and a separate bag of chips to share (4 bucks extra) which was a tasty and plentiful portion! It'd be rad if they had some hot sauce options for the Burrito and chips, as they can be quite dry, or even some salsa/guacamole options.
My friends did get jalapeños on the side for me to devour, but found a few lurking in the bottom of her Burrito and made her struggle, which was quite frustrating.

The only reason I went here in the first place is because everything else was closed. The workers took 20 minutes to make a subpar chicken burrito that tasted like it was seasoned with sand. I would not recommend this to anyone who is travelling.

Ordered a beef burrito, very bland, rice not cooked fully, veggies were old. Not as good as the Kingsway location. Avoid.

Long wait for a burrito that tasted like it was prepared by a person who thinks salt is too spicy to eat. The only thing going for it is that sal y limon was the only food place open after 4. At least I was able to stomach the food before my flight.
