Salah’s Hair Lounge And Barbershop

Salah knows hair!
He gives a great cut at a decent price, much better than the high priced salons and a 'cut above' the other similar places that I have tried.

This was the second time I went to Salah. Surprisingly, he didn't find the need to see what I want to do with my hair! He just wanted to start. He was kind to squeeze me in the schedule. But, he didn't try to see what I want and wrapped up the whole process in less than 10 minutes. There is a huge language barrier in terms of the details and you dont know whether he understood everything or not. Writing down things takes time and like I said there is not much room to add details or change things mid way.

I wouldn't recommend unless you just wanna have something done with your hair, and you don't exactly know what.

In terms of the good feeling, I didn't get a good feeling at all this time. A good feeling + good quality service you enjoy is essential.

But he is definitly a kind person.

I visited Canada from California, and left looking majestic. 10/10 would come here again if I was in Canada!

A great place, open late enough in the day. Salah was quick and his experience definitely shows, he gave me an amazing haircut in about 25 minutes. He doesn’t speak the best english so maybe bring a photo of what you would like done!

Went here based on a friend's recommendation and the outstanding hair cut he had just got. Couldn't be happier, fantastic hair cut! Reasonablu priced, friendly, haappy, and good energy. Was able to communicate effectively, his hearing imparement did not affect that. One of the best hair cuts I've had, and my friend had the best hair cut I'd seen him have since I've known him.

Sarah Mun, who operates the chair in the lady's section of the salon cut my fine, thinning hair. BEST haircut in years! I could tell by the way she handled her tools and the path that she took through my hair, with such confidence that she REALLY knew what she was doing. She told me of her experience and all the countries that she has worked in. I will go nowhere else now. SOOO happy. I will also book some of the wonderful sounding medical aesthetic services that I have been reading about in the third area of the salon. These three professionals make quite the team! Salah is excellent and exceptional. He is good at kids. My son was very happy with his new haircut and gets a lot of compliments. (zig zag line style on the left hand side of his head)

I read a lot of good reviews about this place. Thankfully, Salah lived up to the hype. He is such a pro. We communicated very little, but he knew what I wanted right away. He is quick, reasonably priced, and the shop is nice and quaint.

Have been to Salah's a couple of times now and it's been a great experience. I thought communicating what I wanted would be harder, but he got it exactly how I want it every single time. He's good attention to detail.

I read a lot of really positive reviews and decided to try Salah, as my normal haircutter is no longer available. It was a great, very friendly experience. Sarah is deaf so we did a little charades exercise to indicate what I wanted and then he went to work. Very efficient and very attentive to detail. Most importantly, my partner loved the cut. I'll definitely be back.

Salah is a master of his craft! He has excellent attention to detail and he knows how to use his tools well. His barber shop is clean and well organized. Salah is kind and welcoming, and has very dedicated focus. This place is excellent, would highly recommend.

Salah gives a great haircut, you can tell he loves what he does. He even gave me a head/ scalp massage.

I "discovered" Salah while biking up/down Haultain St.last spring. I am now a regular customer. Sal gives me a great haircut and beard trim. Do I mention he is deaf? Hardly makes a difference other than Salah doesn't " chat" when working. A pleasant change from the usual. Appointments are made online which I find very convenient.

I brought in my 4 months old son. I watched Salah doing my son’s hair with a scissor and buzz cut! I was nervous about the scissor but Salah was careful and confident and his cutting was like a breeze! I was so impressive that I had to post 5 stars. Thank you Salah!

Salah is the best barber I've ever been too. This Cleary isnt just a job to him its his passion and profession. I'm 25 years old and he gives me the coolest fades and shapes my beard perfectly. I really recommend checking him out.
