Was with my friend who is a hairdresser and she was going to do my hair. I asked the shop assistant for foils for my mid back length hair and they picked them out for me. When we got home, they sold me 8 inch foils for my hair that is at least 3 times the length. Back to regular tinfoil.

Before going there I was reading the reviews and I was not sure if I want to shop from Sally… when I went there I found their staff very friendly and knowledgeable… had a very good experience!

In my past experiences this chain has had some pretty big challenges with customer service, not very well trained staff, and the stores can tend to be quite messy. This location is nicely kept, and the very brief interaction I had with staff was helpful and polite. It’s located in a nice outdoor mall with plenty of parking and other good options around the area for shopping. I think I would definitely come back here again if I need more beauty supplies.

I came into this store looking for something to offset a very chunky, very yellow professional highlight job, not knowing anything about hair colour. The staff member that helped me was super knowledgeable and patient and bonus points…the products she recommended worked! Will definitely return if I have another beauty emergency!

I don't know a lot about hair, but I went in and asked them what they recommended for loose waves and they were super helpful and had great information for me. Prices were actually pretty reasonable as well. Would recommend.

Workers here have zero experience.
Woman with the tattoos and darker colored hair with glasses has no idea what to do with anything. Highly recommend going some where else has this garbage dump of a beauty shop has no experience in any department, especially with hair dye and colour. Management is poor as well-you'll get no where with there with their lack of experience and poor customer service ethics and practices.

Excellent Customer Service by Anne yesterday. She was very professional, helpful and Friendly.

Its great to be back to this location again after our terrible experiences with the previous (Male) Manager a while ago. Im glad He is finally gone!

The store is well organized and welcoming. I will definitely be going back!

I went into Sally's in Langford and the customer service was awesome. I bleached my hair with a box dye and it did not turn out right. I went to Sally's and the staff there walked me through all the products and steps to fix my hair. I only spent $40 and my hair is exactly how I wanted it. I will definitely be going back and recommending that location to others. I also never leave reviews on stuff so that's how much I appreciate their advice.

The staff I’ve encountered here are awful. The manager sets the bar high for poor people skills. She is genuinely one of the rudest and most condescending managers I’ve ever seen.
I’ve been in the store and heard staff members laughing at how they “convince” people to buy what they don’t need. Also mocking another customer that didn’t know which products she needed.
I assume none of the employees knew I was there.
I also assume it’s their job to help people- not to make fun of them and manipulate them into buying what they don’t need.
This franchise is great for people that like the products they stock, but it’s a shame the only location in the city is being ruined by subpar hires.

I went in wanting to dye my own hair for the first time ever. The girls were very very helpful and took the time to explain to me how to go through the process and also recommended some great product not only for my original dye job but for touch ups too. They also recommended some great shampoo and conditioner to keep the colour in. All and all a great experience and I will be back again for sure.

The male "manager" is very rude and condescending. Very snappy, and answered my questions in a belittling tone. He makes Regina George look nice.ugh.

Sallys is great but I have to agree with others who comment on the customer service. There's 1 staff member who was helpful with me and kind but the others were horribly rude and made me feel pretty awful and uncomfortable just for asking a question, and didn't smile once or make me feel welcome at all as a customer. It made me want to get out of there asap and never go back. Thankfully the other staff member was able to compensate for her rude coworkers. I wouldn't go back to this place if there was another location on Victoria. They must know they can get away with such rudeness especially if the manager is rude too, that just validates such behaviour. My guess is that it won't be changing anytime soon. Too bad.

I've been in only a handful of times. My first experiance in Langford Sally's, I had horrible service. The manager 'D' gave the most expensive item to me without telling me any information and had really rude 'customer service'. Very condescending and obnoxious.
Certain female staff have also had rude service towards customers. Its a shame. For Sallys the only beauty care products place in Vic could bring in more profit if the staff attitudes were rearranged and they went through proper customer service.

However. I recently within the last week popped in and was met by a girl whose name escapes me (beautiful pink hair) and a girl named Anna. These two know what they are talking about, helpful about product explanations and are kind. They both helped with directions and color dye that would work for the mess I made of my hair.
These two deserve a raise. Thanks to you both if you read these.
