Salmon Arm Wharf

We went early morning while it was raining a bit. We were the only two people and with the grey skies, the views were great. Peaceful and serene. Worth a stop

This Canadian beauty is a bit off the highway but very well worth the detour from your trans Canadian drive through the national Park. I'm told in the summer the water is full all the way closer to the main area but even now it's a lot beautiful (fall) with green grass and flowers. Take a walk through the wood bridge towards the jettison and also the park close to the parking area. Bring friends and family or a date. Enjoy the flowers and a sandwich.

If you go with friends or loving one, you will love everything. Very quiet place, and nature shows her charisma.

There are washrooms and place to buy food. (It was closed when I visited.)

This is very beautiful place to enjoy the great views of the Shuswap Lake. One can go for the boating experiences here as the lake is huge. At some point you feel scared when you are boating in the lake but it was fun.

Great place to see wildlife, specifically waterfowl. Saw numerous Dancing Grebes with their little chicks as well as Great Blue Herons and nesting Osprey with chicks. Very photographic location.

Beautiful views. Quiet walks. Incredible wetlands and nature. Close to downtown. Boardwalks for easy access. Would make a great running trail.

What better way to celebrate a diverse and beautiful City than a visit to the Warf? Beautiful grass and plants adorn the park and an awesome gazebo to celebrate our love of music and any celebrations we may have. Maybe more shaded areas at the end of the warf would help out a bit but otherwise its a beautiful spot in a beautiful city!

Beautiful, well-maintained park. The water is very clear as well. It was also easy to find parking, although I was suprised I had to pay for it.

Relaxing, serene, people are friendly. Enjoy an icecream or go for a bbq burger if you're really hungry!

If you like watching several species of birds, this is an awesome viewing area, with protected nesting grounds.

A beautiful evening stroll. Go down onto the marina and watch for the masses of I don't know what kind of big lipped fish lapping up just whatever is in the water. If you fall in I'm sure they will clean you up nicely. Oh, and don't let your children run barefoot out there, I ended up spending a few hours waiting in emerg for a 3" sliver removal that I just couldn't stomach on my own.
