I came here to dye and bleach my hair as part of my Halloween costume this year and Ken walked me through the entire process, explained what I could expect from full-head highlights versus a full bleach + toner, took a look at the photo of my character and provided me with several closely matching hair colour options. I picked the one that I liked best and ended up loving the result!

Ken and team were very friendly and helpful the entire time and I am glad I came here. The quality of service and the attention to detail are excellent here, which naturally comes with a higher price. So make sure to call first to confirm that the type of hair work you’d like to have done will be within your “hair” budget. I personally do not mind spending more provided I can expect excellent results in return.

Nina is incredible. She’s very professional but nice and warm. She makes you feel like you’ve been her customer for years. I got my roots retouched on my first visit and she picked the perfect color for them. I had issues with my previous hair dresser picking darker or lighter colors, but after I went to see Nina my hair looks great. This second time I got a haircut and I loved it. She was honest and told me what we needed for my hair to look better and the result was amazing. She knows what she’s doing. I’m definitely coming back!

I have the heavy type of Asian hair. Tried many salons but none of them really get the haircut right until I met Ken. My hair felt so light and free for 2 months after the cut. Nothing but love, love, and love for this salon. This salon has the friendliest vibes right from the minute you walk in yet maintains a classy and upscale atmosphere. I got an amazing purple foilayage done by Lam and I would 100% recommend anyone to go see him for some stunning colour results. I had a great experience having my hair cut and highlighted by Nina! Nina was exceptionally patient honest and dedicated. She worked with me for a long time understanding what I want and made adjustment to my feedback. And the result is phenomenal I walked around feeling pretty and powerful as ever! 1 star off for the price. Director cut of $120 is just crazy.

I had bleached my hair previously and tried to get it permed at a different salon, it was a disaster! My hair was like a broom bristles. I hated it. I had been thinking for many years about getting a super short haircut, which is difficult for a girl to do. Because of my hair-disaster I decided now was the best time. After some research online I chose Ken to do it. I am so so happy with the result. Ken made me look so cute and good with my super short hair! Such a talented guy.

I'm trying to grow my hair out longer so I was reluctant to get it cut, but it was at that "in-between" stage where it is bushy and doesn't look good. Ken managed to get it all under control without taking off hardly any length and made it look exactly like I imagined it could look like. He is worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend.

Previously I gave this place one star; however the owner called and gave me a good explanation without making any excuses. His attitude is very sincere, therefore I’m changing my review to a 4 star, and I will give them another visit next time and see how it goes.

Several unpleasant experiences.
My stylist is the most expensive guy.
1) Extremely unpleasant customer service: I went there to cut my hair from very long (for a man) to very short. I told them to keep for me the long hair which was cut off. They did put the hair in a bag, but merely because I forgot to take the bag with me when I left, they just threw the hair away, without even noticing/calling me, which is heart breaking for me.hair length of 3 years!
2) Really bad aesthetic taste: I brought some hair style pictures there for references, and explicitly asked the hair stylist if those hair styles suit me. The hair stylist, without much consideration, confirms that those hair styles would just suit me fine. I wasn’t filly convinced, as the hair styles I showed him are quite different, but still chose to trust his expertise. But then, after 1 hour of cutting and styling, the final hair style is just horrible. Horrible to me, to my friend, and to my roommate. I had to re-style it afterwards to make it better. I guess when he decided for my hair style, he probably didn’t take into account my facial features, and just went ahead with a “so-called” “good” style.really unprofessional, not to mention he’s actually the most expensive hairstylist in the salon!
3) Noisy Servicing: The stylist and the hair washer just kept constantly asking random questions during their styling and washing time. Maybe some people likes this kind of chitchatting, but I didn’t, and they seemed to be unable to notice my unpleasantness and continued talking the whole time, even when the stylist is machine shaving around my ear! How scary! Unprofessional as well.
