Needed a lot of help with my hair, and Wayne killed it! He was super nice and accommodating, was very upfront with what was achievable for my hair and talked me through the whole process! Even thought he was fully booked this month he squeezed me in on one of his days off, and went above and beyond in customer service. 15/10 would recommend!

I’ve been going to Salon Haze for more than 10 years now and Loretta always makes my hair look amazing no matter what colour I change it to! I always get strangers compliment her work and asking where I go. She takes so much care to make sure there’s no breakage when bleaching and I’ve bleached my hair for the past 10 years consistently with no issues. I had a great experience at Salon Haze and am so glad that I decided to go after reading some positive reviews online. I have wavy, slightly frizzy hair and for some reason, I rarely get a haircut that works with it. I called the salon and spoke to a really friendly and helpful woman on the phone, explained my situation, and she suggested that John would be a good fit for my anxiety around haircuts. She was absolutely right - he was understanding of my concerns and carefully explained what was going on with my hair, then took me through the steps of how he was going to cut it and why he was making certain choices. All the while, he was receptive to questions and feedback, which was very reassuring.

I am so, so thrilled with the result! It is exactly what I was hoping for and I'm relieved that I don't have to struggle with it everyday. I absolutely recommend Salon Haze - John is extremely talented and very thoughtful about his work and I really enjoyed my experience there.

Would not recommend. Went in for a consult ready to spend whatever it’d take to get to, or close to, what I wanted. The stylist sat me down and picked at my hair, commenting over and over about how patchy it was and that she wasn’t sure it’d be possible to achieve what I wanted (brunette to copper). I consented to her cutting a piece of my hair to do a test strand. And.was never contacted again. A waste of time and the kind of experience that just makes you feel bad, from all the judgy comments she made about my hair- definitely not what I look for when going to a salon.

I had a hard time with cutting my hair because every barber shop I went wasn't satisfying, until I went to this store. I showed a picture to my barber Gary, and he managed to cut my hair just like the picture. And I'm going to leave every my haircut to Gary from now on! Definitely a good salon!

Daemon is incredibly kind and extremely talented. I’ve gone to many different stylists over the years and he has rescued my hair on several occasions, and gives me perfect hair every time. Now he’s the only person I’ll trust to touch it!:)

Camryn gave me an amazing haircut and colour when I went in to see her! She’s always so friendly and welcoming and it’s always a treat to sit in her chair!

Tanis is a wizard. I’ve never dyed my hair before and love my natural hair colour but wanted some oomf. She gave me exactly that and exceeded my expectation. Such a lovely salon too and all the staff are amazing.

Had aggressive behavior and was not kind at all.it is why I paid the cancelation fee and came out of there!

I’ve been to Loretta and Meiko. Both have been excellent colourists! I have THICK hair. It takes upwards of 5 hours to balayage, but they are troopers and make sure it’s a comfortable experience.

I have sent several emails and called couple of times to book an appointment, but they’re not responsive!
So I’ll say, terrible customer service!

I see Yen at Salon Haze and she is an amazing hairstylist. She takes the time to walk you through the process of getting your hair done and is super thorough. She always strives to give all of her clients the best results. She is extremely talented and I recommend her to everyone I know! The salon is also very well-kept and in a great area:)

I got the best balayage done by daemon, he was really nice and kind the whole time, and did an excellent work 10/10 for their services. Loved it!

Visited Krista at Salon Haze off of the recommendation of a friend, and she exceeded my expectations! She gave me a great consult based off of my hair type, and at my appointment I left with a beautiful balayage and my hair still felt silky and strong and easy to style even at home. Been seeing Tanis since 2014/2015, not only does she give me great haircuts but also is very knowledgeable and experienced with hair colouring. I trust her more than myself when it comes to my hair. Not only is she an excellent stylist but also I enjoy getting to talk to her and ask her questions about hair care, she does not push prodcuts and respects i prefer the natural route.

Daemon gave me the best haircut of my life two days ago. My girlfriend hasn't stopped talking about it lol. Seriously people, go let him work his magic.

I have been going to haze for 6-7 years now and Loretta has been amazing! I always receive compliments on my hair and how healthy it is! The new salon is spacious and clean, the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I always feel comfortable coming into haze knowing it’ll be a great time and I’ll walk out with amazing hair!

Have been seeing Tim for years. Him and Loretta's team have always been extremely professional and knowledgable. I would have no hesitations recommending them to family and friends.

While visiting from out of town I popped in Studio Haze for a blow out. It is an old fashioned style (think Pretty Woman) that are not done often or well by most hairstylists. Gigi did an amazing job! The hair wash chairs are FANTASTIC and the most comfortable I’ve ever been in. Gigi took her time and even though she said she did not do blowouts often she did an excellent job. I was stopped on the street multiple times that day by strangers who complemented me on my hair. I HIGHLY recommend Salon Haze and Gigi.

I got my hair cut by Gigi and was thrilled with the result! She cut it exactly as I wanted and was very professional and attentive to detail. She was also great to talk to and made me feel very comfortable, which I don’t always feel with hairdressers. I’ll be back!

Not a $90 haircut.
Girlfriend (med-long hair) asked for evening out, to remove split ends, light layering and face framing. Within 30 minutes they sent her out rushed with still noticeable split ends.

When I was there the overall experience was positive. I felt pampered, the staff was friendly and I got a decent looking cut. But for $100 I was expecting more. I didn't feel like it was worth the additional 60 over a haircut literally anywhere else

How do u get charged literally like 90$ for a haircut that everyone around me says looks the EXACT same if not worse. I waited for 30 minutes after my appointment should’ve started then she did my hair for 30 minutes and then i left with -85$ in my pocket, literally made 2 snips i could’ve done easily.i literally thought the person was joking when they said they were finished. I’m gonna need a refund.i wish i could go back in time and punch myself in the face for choosing to come here

I am contemplating getting another haircut to fix this one. At $68 for a men's haircut, this has been a lesson to me to research the individual stylist instead of the salon.

Booking was quick, prices are reasonable for experienced stylists, and the salon itself is a nice environment.

Dorothy was really great and attentive. She listened well and was able to execute exactly the cut and preferences I was looking for - which is greatly appreciated.

Would highly recommend getting your hair done by Yen! She is clear, informative, and provides a thorough consultation about your hair and different outcomes of how your treatment/service will turn out. She will answer any questions you have and she really cares about the condition of your hair as she never wants to risk damaging it. She is honest and knowledgable and makes you feel comfortable and very satisfied with the whole entire process.

As a person who frequently dyes their hair, I have gotten my hair dyed by different stylists in Surrey however, during my past experiences with them they never really took the time to inform me about the process. Most of the time, they just went ahead and dyed my hair in a way they thought looked best without consulting with me first. Yen however, suggested to incorporate warmer tones as she noticed it went better with my skin and its undertones. I wanted to be blonde and I trusted her suggestions as it made a lot of sense.

I felt really happy knowing that Yen is amazing at selecting the best colours for not only someones complexion but their overall appearance and undertones. This definitely reveals her knowledge about colour theory, and it reveals how caring and detail-oriented she is. She definitely has a good eye for the smaller things for the end result. I have gotten so many compliments about my hair and a lot of my friends noticed that the undertones in my blonde hair brighten up my face and suits my face way better than my past hair colours. I just wanted to note that I have medium-light olive skin! My hair colour does not make me look washed out at all.

I went in for a big change to my hairstyle, and Dorothy was extremely wonderful. She worked with me on the look I was going for, and created a whole new style for me that I am now completely obsessed with. She is professional and kind, and as an introvert I really appreciated that she didn't make me talk the entire time. Sometimes people think that everyone always wants to be chit-chatting, but for me being able to have that period of peace and quiet in my day was an unexpected gift. Will definitely be back to see her again. Really recommend Salon Haze. They are very attentive and the pricing is fair.

The stylist Dorothy is my go to girl! She always does such an amazing job with her cuts and styling. She is a perfectionist and you can tell how much care she puts into her work. Definitely would recommend coming to see her!

I booked a hair cut with Dorothy and she gave me exactly the style that I wanted! She is a very detail-oriented stylist who is also extremely professional. All throughout the service, she was constantly checking to make sure my haircut was even from all angles and my haircut was finished in 1 hour. Not only is her work amazing, but she is also very pleasant to talk to. I would definitely recommend booking your appointment with her:)

Very late cancellation is the worst thing especially when the reason is running late of hairdresser! Three weeks ago I booked appointment for 14th June (today) with Wayne, 1.5 hour before my appointment they called and said: Wayne is late today and can not do your haircut, do you want to do your hair cut with another person? So disappointed.

Not sure how this place got perfect reviews, it doesn't make sense to me at all. The haircut I got was horrible. The stylist didn't pay attention to any of my points. During the haircut, stopped 4 times in the middle to go somewhere do something. Was even making business with a guy that came to fix the scissors! 35 minutes and I was out the door paying $52 for not even a $5 haircut! I wish I could give 0 stars!

I've been going to Salon Haze for YEARS! When I first went to Loretta, she did an amazing job with colour correcting and evening out my hair. I was so happy and I've been seeing her ever since. Her colour creativity is a work of art! When I asked her I wanted to go pink but make it wearable, she made it happen. Loretta and her staff are super friendly and professional. You feel very welcomed the moment you step in.

Got my hair done by Wayne and he did a good job however it was different than what I wanted and when I spoke to him about it he pretty much said “it’s not his problem”, which was pretty odd considering how highly their salon is rated I would think customer service would be more helpful.

I've been seeing Daemen for almost two years now - he's talented, friendly and thorough. Really knows his way around curly hair which is a relief and puts up with my anxiety re: haircuts (he's the only person I trust to come at my hair with scissors tbh)

I missed my appointment today but they were able to fill me in later that day. Fantastic service and it’s evident that they really care for their customers and craft.
Wayne is incredibly skilled and professional, the colour consultation was detailed and comprehensive and the haircut was exactly what I was looking for. He made me feel like my hair was in safe hands.
I got an amazing service and the price was very reasonable.
It makes sense that they are the highest rated salon in the area!

If you want an amazing hair cut see Leah! She gave me exactly what I wanted and was so beyond nice. She took her time, paying attention to detail to create the exact seamless look I was going for. She also curled my hair for me after which was so nice of her-no other hair stylist has ever done this for me before. My layers are beautifully blended, honestly the best hair cut I have ever received! Thank you again Leah!

In a city where there are so many hair salon's, it's actually hard to find a decent one & more importantly a decent Hairdresser.
Cannot recommend Emily enough. She is brilliant, listens to all my concerns/needs & does exactly what I ask for (especially with cutting, only taking off what I want). If I'm not sure what I want done color wise etc, she always gives me suggestions on what would suit me best. I wouldn't go with anyone else.
She is very accommodating, always finding time to slot me in around my work schedule or later evening appts which I really appreciate. Overall great place & I find the team in general, very social, & friendly.

I went in wanting a haircut that suited me, and instead walked out with 1/4 inch less hair than I walked in with. I gave my stylist full creative freedom, but she had no imagination so just "cleaned up" the cut I already had. The only way it looks different now than an hour ago is that it is straighter, and therefore longer!

I have been going to Salon Haze for over a year to see Daemen. He has incredible attention to detail and I am always very happy when I leave. He takes his time to make sure everything is as perfect as it can be. He listens to what I want and I always trust him to make sure I look great after! Great experience with Tanis! I went in just to have my colored toned that I had done out town, and she was accommodating and extremely friendly! Would recommend to anyone. Lots of free parking in the residential area 1 block away from the salon.

I've been going to Alyssa at Salon Haze for at least two years now and she's wonderful. I'm a semi-difficult client because 1) I don't get my hair done nearly as often as I should, and 2) I am not always sure of what I want (although I know what I don't want). Alyssa is patient with me, makes suggestions based on my preferences, listens to my responses, and asks questions when I'm not clear about something so that she can make sure I'm happy with the outcome. She also makes an effort to help me choose colors and styles that will be low maintenance and long-lasting (per my request). And, it's always fun to see her and get some time to chat! I highly recommend her and Salon Haze.
