We were here in August and we were not impressed. The place is in dire need of some TLC and some Reno’s. The guy working there never explained anything about the wine and was totally focused on one lady. I purchased the Pinot Noir rose that I tasted and we took it to our friends as a gift. It was terrible and was undrinkable. 4 of us tasted it and all agreed it was off. Also it had some sediment on the bottom of the bottle and it was cloudy. Worst $30 I ever spent!

Got a couple bottles of wine. Wine was okay, but tasting experience could be much better. During the tasting, the guy was so distracted. He only focused on a girl in one of the group. Our group and the other grouo had to wait and even had to interrupt him to let ourselves to finish the tasting/pay/and go- since he did not stop talking to this one lady.

Honestly a bit of a strange place. The wine is really good. Especially the blackberry and cranberry dessert wines. The 4 for $10 tasting is a decent deal and it’s nice that it’s free if you buy a bottle. The man working in the tasting room made the experience very strange. He spent almost 40 minutes talking at us about space, a secret government, aliens, and demons. He also was more involved in aimlessly walking around than helping us with the tasting. We would ask for the wine we wanted and he would just pour and wouldn’t tell us anything about the wines. Seemed a bit confused/lost the entire time we were there.

Very unpleasant experience, left as soon as we could. The man pouring wines for tasting would not stop talking about "secret space technologies", the "deep state", and government conspiracies to the point that we had to ask several times to try other wines. He did not describe the tasting notes or anything about the wines, other than which ones sell well, and did not replace our glasses with clean ones or even rinse them out before switching to the next wine. The red wine was also served very cold, so we had to warm the glass up with our hands before it was drinkable. He said he "doesn't know much about wines", which explains a lot.
The new owner came by only to yell at the guy while she was on the phone and then left without greeting any of the guests who came for wine tasting. The grounds were overgrown and unkempt as well.

It's incredibly sad to see such a well-known and well-loved vineyard under such poor management. Hopefully the next owner will actually care.

Unkempt. Not the experience I expected. Place definitely does not live up to past reputation.

We sampled some wines and had difficulty getting through the ramblings of the wine pourer. We were given the last dredges of an opened Pinot noir rose that was nearly turned to vinegar. The other wines were okay in the winery, but didn’t stand up when we brought them home.

We left with a case of 12 bottles and opened 4 of the sparkling wines and 3 out of 4 were completely flat and oxidized. The 2020 evolution tasted as if they bottled it before it started fermenting. The last bottle of charme was the only bottle to pop when we opened it and it still tasted oxidized and stale. Not even enjoyable in orange juice. I don’t think the plastic corks they use are any good or they are not fermenting their wines properly.

10 out of 10 would not recommend this winery to anyone. It’s bad homemade wine. Yuck.

Unfortunately the vineyard is not the same place as it was years ago. The picnic area is fine, if you’re willing to cut the grass and trim the trees yourself. The only wines available for purchase are all from 2019, are the new owners even interested in making wine? The vines are overgrown and for sure demonstrates a lack of interest in producing quality wines.

The service attitude is very good, the price is very affordable, it is a good place to stop, the taste of the wine is not found in other places, thank you very much for having such a good wine

Been coming here for years and always have a great tasting and lovely picnic; however, it must be under new ownership as the grounds are unkempt (always have been beautifully taken care of in the past) and the woman who served us barely acknowledged us and was talking on the phone the whole time we were there. Thought the whole thing was quite weird!

Not worth stopping for. The vineyard is unkempt. The wines taste okay. Remind me of something my aunt would have made at home without a facility.

The hosts are out of their depth but well intentioned. I'm sure they are good people, but not great in customer service.

Stingy pours. What a shame.

If you go, be direct with the person pouring your wine else you may never leave or get your second pour. They will be engrossed in conversations or their own world.
