The staff are so friendly in this hostel especially the Japanese girl Chika she is so kind and helpful. Everything going well and smoothly. It was a great stay

Amazing location, 5ish minute walk to the beach. Surprisingly clean for a hostel. Beds are actually comfortable.slept like a baby. Amazing kitchen, great outside chilling space.

Very central place. It is an excellent lodging experience since the staff is extremely friendly and an excellent opportunity to meet many people and learn about different cultures.

Apart from dried vomit on the walls of the hostel room the place was neat, tidy and mostly clean. Would have loved a longer quiet time to make the most of the days as drums or music playing after midnight and again at 7am, just isn’t quite enough time to enjoy all the sights of Kelowna.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. Considering the amount of traffic within the space, it is kept clean and cared for. I appreciate the friendly vibe of this place. There's also open mic nights and other events! The beach and downtown are five minutes away. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Beautiful hostel with a great vibe and all the facilities you need for a short or long stay. Perfectly located within 5 minutes from the beach, restaurants and shops:)

Great place and amazing staff! Close to the beach and walking distance to awesome restaurants and every type of club or pub you could be looking for. Huge kichen and a massive enclosed patio if you just want to stay in for the night.

It's close to downtown and the beach, so it's convenient for everything! ︎
All of the staff are kind and the space is full of warmth, which is typical of a hostel.

This was the 7th different hostel I stayed at during my travels, and by far the worst. I stayed here for 36h, and couldn't check out soon enough. This place seems to attract the lowest forms of human life. I had my food stolen from the kitchen twice in the same day, told the staff about it both times, but was told nothing could be done, too bad! Despite that I told them exactly who the person responsible was.

Cette auberge de jeunesse est très bien placée par rapport au centre-ville de Kelowna. Elle dispose d'un parking privé (12,50$ par jour). Nous avions réservé une chambre avec salle d'eau privative.
La surface de la chambre est correcte par contre la literie est "molle".
Les ustensiles disponibles dans la cuisine sont en nombre restreint et l'occupation des frigos est moyennement organisée. L'accès au patio pour les repas est un plus très agréable. L'établissement offre un petit déjeuner de 7: 30 à 9: 30.

Right across from Downtown Kelowna, this is a nice budget stay for backpackers with dorm style beds and a well equipped common kitchen to make your own breakfast.

Location isn't everything. Double room small, beds short (1.90m?) and uncomfortable. Due to the location on the main street, it was noisy at night. The bathroom is large, but urgently needs to be cleaned and renovated. The shower is an absolute impertinence (I preferred not to take photos, nobody wants to see that.).
The promised "breakfast" consists of apples to go, coffee and tea, and pancake batter to make yourself in the kitchen.
Parking is $12.50 CAD per night. For the money, the performance offered is outrageous.

This hostel sucks. I did have slightly elevated expectations as it was twice the price of the (unfortunately fully booked) other hostel in town. For $80/night I expected something half decent and/or for it to be sold out. It was neither.

Squeaky metal frame beds, cheap mattresses, sheets are old and worn, bathrooms were dirty and are communal stalls in a big room, bedroom floor was so dirty I found a broom and swept it myself. Nothing unusual for a hostel (although I’ve never resorted to stealing cleaning supplies before) but everything is right at the bottom end, but at top end prices.

Everything else around the hostel was also rubbish. They tried to sell me parking on check in at $12.50/day, even though I was staying on the weekend and parking 50m away is free. Literally trying to rip me off for a second time (the first time being the room price). They advertise free towels but had none left for the woman in front of me who hadn’t brought her own. When I checked in my room key didn’t work. After trying 3 three keys I was finally asked to prop my door open whenever I left my room.

Free breakfast is a joke - it ends at 9: 30am, but there’s so little available that people were stood next to it asking where to find it. It was a bowl of bruised fruit, coffee, and some pancakes you made yourself, which caused chaos in the kitchen of course. The fruit had to be collected from reception, who seemed to be guarding anyone trying to take more than one piece. Once you’d made the pancakes the only topping was butter, as everything else had run out. I didn’t bother with coffee as it was impossible to find a mug. It was so bad that I didn’t even have breakfast the second morning, and just went out and bought food instead.

The website said by booking direct I would get a 10% discount on checkin. This didn’t happen.

Positive points were (very, very loud) A/C, and that there was only 2 or 3 people in my 4 bed dorm each night.

I think this is the most I’ve ever paid for a hostel but it’s one of the worst ones I’ve stayed in.

The room was absolutely disgusting. After we checked in, we had to ask if the room had been cleaned before, because there was a cockroach (? !) In the bathroom, the towels were old and stinky, the trash was not emptied and there were stains and hair on the bedding. They pretend to clean it again but only the cockroach was gone, the rest was still filthy. The breakfast was just pancake dough that you had to do it yourself in an even more disgusting kitchen. As it is definitely not cheap it is a complete rip off. Don't go there!

It’s really bad. I have been there 2 years ago and it was decent, now it’s just horrible. Everything is dirty and disgusting, rooms, kitchen, washrooms, linen, absolutely disgusting. Front desk lady was really rude! They say they have towels and they had none. Idk if management changed or what, but now it’s just horrible. Don’t go.

4-dorm bedroom are pretty small. Located on the boulevard so if you dont usually have a good sleep, might not be the best for you. Huge kitchen, pool table and big backdoor patio

Should have stayed here my entire time in Kelowna! Affordable, clean and perfect place to just sleep at night and drop off your bags!
Free parking and breakfast are a bonus. Wry close to the water front and within walking distance to many restaurants.
