My trusty SEC1235 30A switch mode power supply unexpectedly lost output after 2 years in continuous use. I contacted Samlex by email and enquired about the process for a warranty repair (the unit has a 3 year warranty). I quickly received a reply and instructions to ship my unit in for inspection. After a week I received a replacement unit. Have always been happy with Samlex power supplies and remain an even more satisfied customer after this experience.

I had an issue with a 2.5 year old power supply SEC-1235P-M and was surprised to learn it was still under warranty. Samlex's suport and Richard was very polite and quick to respond to my call. Within only a few days a replacement unit was shipped from the original retail provider even before I had returned the defective unit. Who ever said customer service was dead was not working with Samlex.

I purchased a Samlex 3012 charger inverter for my RV on reports their unit was robust. 2 years in, it failed. It may well have not been the fault of the unit.that cannot be determined. They replaced it with one that was refurbished, shipped it to me quicklh, but I had to pay shipping to them of the defunct unit, plus pay for the R & R at the RV shop. There is no 3 1/2 stars so I gave them benefit of the doubt. Not happy with their instruction mamual. Replacement unit seems to be working better.time will tell

I just spoke with Richard at Samlex Customer Service. First off, let me say that I've used Samlex power supplies on many projects and I've never had to call them before. Samlex makes a great product and now that I've actually had to call customer service with a question I can say that they have great support and NO PHONE MAIL JAIL! A human actually answered the phone and a competent one at that. I am so please that my time was not wasted and first encounter was a great as their product line. I an now a customer for life. Experience was great. No hold time, my questions were answered in a way I understood, Jason even brought things to my attention I wasn’t aware of. I wish all companies had customer service like this.
