I’ve been coming here for a while so it is unfortunate that I will have to cross this place off my list.

Samurai Sushi House impresses with its authentic Japanese ambiance and exceptional cuisine. The moment you step inside, you're transported to a traditional izakaya in Tokyo. The sushi menu is extensive, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients that showcase a variety of flavors and textures. Standouts include the toro nigiri and the dragon roll, both of which were beautifully presented and melted in the mouth. The service was attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Prices are reasonable for the quality, making it a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. The only downside is the occasionally long wait times, but the food is definitely worth the wait.

? House roll: The portion is very big, but not fresh. The salmon and tuna inside are very fishy.
? Chopped scallop nigiri: This is the first time I have eaten such an unpleasant chopped scallop. The fishy smell cannot be covered up even with spicy mayo.

Ordered a small size of House roll (5 pieces).

Portion: 5 stars (super filling)
Quality: 1 star (tiny piece of fish)

Big difference between "Actual" and "Expected" (picture in-store).

Sushi is abundant in value. 1 salmon nigiri equates to 1 nigiri and enough excess fish to make a piece of sashimi. Not the most fresh or high quality sushi but solid.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant.
I'm Japanese so I certainly know real sushi however the restaurant's sushi is the best in Vancouver.
I can recommend to you guys.

They are a really afordable sushi option for Vancouver especially their discount for takeout when you order in advance. They had a really good price point for so much sushi and it tasted pretty good too, I really liked their BC roll.

Fresh sushi. Seems large because of the massive amount of rice used. Very busy sushi joint, only accept cash

My family and I enjoyed the fresh and affordable sushi. The sashimi slices were thick and I was shocked at the generous amounts of sushi rice.

Can't believe I paid money for this, even my 3 year old son can make better food than this
