Sandman Inn Kamloops

Very Gracious hosts, have stayed there previously and had the same experience, very helpful and kind to us seniors, plus close to Dennys restaurant

We checked for two nights and preet and aman helped us to get best room with easy access as we have baby.
They also were helpful to do late checkout cause baby was sleeping.

We stayed in the Sandman hotel in Kamloops for one night. We were welcomed by Preet who was very friendly and helpful. He assisted us in bringing our bags to our room. The hotel is clean but a bit dated and had no lift to the upper floors

I recommend taking a look and check if the bathroom and shower is working before u make a payment

Preet the new manager was very friendly and helpful but the place is old and tired. I heard dripping at night and found a disconnected drain under the sink. Thank goodness I was able to tighten it by hand. The room was missing 1/2 of a sheer day curtain and had a tap handle for a dresser drawer knob! The wall at Denny's next door was a mess. You'd think these places would be much better considering that Kamloops is hometown for the owners of the entire Sandman chain worldwide

We came up from Kelowna due to the fires. We booked 2 nights but realized on the morning of the second night that we could go back. The person at the front desk said we still had to pay for the second night because we got a special rate. We asked to speak to the manager but he said they were unavailable. My wife called the central reservations desk and they left a message for the manager, but her call was never returned. You would think given the current situation that you would have some flexibility with your policies. Very disappointing. On top of that we found a cherry on the floor of the room, so the cleanliness left something to be desired. And the air conditioning is very loud. Despite having to pay for the second night we left anyway.

If you need a bed and a shower this place is perfect. Atish checked me in and was incredible nice and friendly. The room was small but had everything I needed.

Only thing of note was that the bedding was dirty and I didn’t realize until after we had slept in it. The shower was also fairly beat up but it worked and was hot when you needed it.

If you need some place to sleep for a night as you continue on a trip, this place will do what you need but be aware that the quality of the rooms reflect that.

The staff and hotel manager were excellent and very accommodating. Service was outstanding. The staff do their best to maintain and keep it clean. The hotel rooms are dated and a bit small. The owners should look into updating it. Location was good!

Ac did not work they cleaned the filter and it still didn’t work but they said it’s fixed. Beds were not comfortable, $162/night is very high for a single queen room with lady bugs in it.

Your rooms were not adequate for sleeping, the lighting ws poor, your hotel looked like for homeless people.need to invest in renovations lighting improvements.need to upload real photots of your establishment in its current state not photos from the Sandman Suites which is false advertisment.i still want a full refund as we did not stay at your Hotel.i will not stay there ever again!

Checking in the whole hotel was hot. The guest rooms where all open because the maids were cleaning in the afternoon. My parents found bloodstains on the bed, the while room was filthy. The bathroom in my room was small the toilet didn't work correctly. They had the nerve to charge us the night because we said we're going to stay the night. Anyone reading this stay away from this place!

A bit run down overall, had some issues with the AC but the staff eventually let us change rooms after it didn't cool down.

We were happy to stay at Sandman. It is Nice here and we were happy about the good tips and service we had From Rakib in the reception

Personal hygiene lacking via body odor on three different days of two separate persons on front desk was noticeable at a distance…

No room cleaning or towel service for three days…called front desk and was informed that the hotel does not clean rooms unless requested…something they should inform guests upon check in rather than having to find out especially on extended stays…or reflect back in customer savings but they do not…

Reasoning given is quoted as “for the environment” which is a thinly veiled guise for profit…air conditioning is set to turn off at night…room becomes unbearably hot as this is summertime in Kamloops…

Everything now in this hotel lacks the quality experience it once had being a loyal customer for the past ten years…

Top price charged for half the quality of what it used to provide…strongly recommend you find an alternate chain that still cares about its brand and credibility…

Suggest name change to Sadman…

Soft as marshmallow beds, air conditioning to the moon, nice shower, local cable TV, check out by 11AM.

Each Sandman location has it's little issues. I've stayed in 5 star hotels with similar issues. The reason I enjoy staying at your hotels, and this applies to every location I've stayed at, is the staff. The service level is unmatched. The methods of training you use through your management o your frontline staff is consistent at every level. BRAVO!

Friendly staff, easy check in/out. Comfy beds, place could use some updating. Would stay here again.

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The building looks nicer in real life than in the picture. I stayed as a stop over, driving Edmonton to Vancouver. It was just minutes off the highway so perfect for what I needed.

Front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Atish checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Well taken care of.
