This place is great, the food is delicious and the staff are extremely kind, sweet, and welcoming.

Delicious food, coffees are really well made, the service and owners are fantastic and kind people.

Food and service was amazing. Tried two kinds of paninis and they were delicious. The lady who helped me was very kind and the food was served within a few minutes so it was nice and fresh! Highly recommend this place. Very happy I stopped in.

Cute little neighborhood spot run by two very nice people. Sandwiches, coffee (hot and cold), salads, breakfast, baked goods, soups all for sale. Such a cozy little spot during my short day trip to Victoria.

Best vanilla bean frappe I’ve ever had! Food is top notch and deserts are generous portions for the price you pay. This is my go-to on a Sunday afternoon. The owners are a ray of sunshine too.

What a hidden gem! One of the best pours I've seen in ages in my mocha. One of the few places I'd trust with an espresso shot.

Ordered a rueben panini and it was heavenly, and cheap! More of a snack than an actual lunch, but absolutely more than fair for the price.

The owners (I assume) who were working there were also -so- nice! Very happy with my visit.

This was a lovely little find in the city whilst wandering around. The decor and counter are a little dated, but that did not detract from the great service, nice food and the good coffee. We recommend a visit, especially if you like to support local businesses. We will be back.

Support local business as I see bigger lineups on Bigger restaurants but trust me this cafe was a perfect stop for me and the quality of the food was surprisingly great. The lady on the counter was so generous and I can’t really wait to go there again. Highly recommend

Very nice and talkative staff, what's surprised us a lot is that we came from the same place! The delicate dishes are like homemade, which brings us a cozy feeling. Recommend strongly!

Sandwiches were mediocre but the service was nice! What I did notice was when I ordered my tea, thinking it was Tazo Earl Grey, they gave me Twinnings. So the Tazo boxes are for display/storage I guess.

I loved my sandwich and latte, and the owners were so kind. Definitely going back and enjoying my food outside again.

Small quaint cozy little place on the corner! The service is polite, friendly and courteous, I just popped by and was pleasantly surprised! The coffee art is also gorgeous, definitely recommend as a quick drop by coffee place definitely will be coming back again!

So cozy more than I imagined Although its small cafe, with just simple decorations but I felt so relaxed while eating panini very quiet and I think the corner location made it so special.
Also to mention the staff were so friendly and nice.

It was our last day in Victoria and we just wanted a little place to grab lunch before heading out. Couldn't have gotten luckier, truly delicious soup! And the paninis were perfect for dipping! I had a west coast club and my wife had the vegetarian panini and then creamy tomato soup. Hands down best tomato soup I've ever had, and it was pretty cheap too! Walked out super satisfied for under $30 including tip! On top of that the two working/ possibly the owners, were absolutely wonderful people, super kind and sweet. Definitely would come again.

A gem of a cafe. Great cups of tea, a fantastic breakfast, and bagels to die for. My wife and I stopped in a few times and the owner was so friendly - an absolute pleasure to visit, and I plan to be back next time I'm in Victoria!

My new favourite corner mom and pop. Always friendly, perfect location, and brilliant sandwiches. Current favourite is veggie panini, no cheese, and black coffee. A gem in Victoria. You won’t be disappointed!

I dont understand all the good reviews. I am 100% sure the clam chowder was cambells brand straight out of the can. The Westcoast Panini had no cranberry mayo as mentioned and a slice of cheap turkey deli meat. The Italian classic Panini also had no basil alioli on it and just had some spinach and a cheap slice of deli meat. Dont know what happened but it tasted terrible.

Very tasty mocha. Lots of chairs and tables on the sidewalk and the traffic is light enough here to carry on a conversation. Very friendly folks behind the counter.

All I can say is wow. Quaint little sandwich shop with 5 tables and great service. The chicken panini I ordered was tasty and delivered quick. The drink prices are also much better than anywhere else I've been in Victoria, their debit machines don't even ask for a tip! I fully recommend this spot for a quick bite or coffee.

Sandwich Corner Cafe is a hidden gem and the nicest place in downtown Victoria to stop by for a quick sandwich, panini, or bowl of soup. The owners are two of the nicest and most hardworking people in the service industry!

Quite happy with this place. I had an espresso shot in an absolutely lovely porcelain demitasse that appeared to be Chinese or of some other Asian culture. A nice relief from all the other places in town pretending that they are refusing to provide ceramics due to COVID ‍️

Great service, giant variety of foods, sandwich corner café is by far my favorite restaurant in Victoria, the staff that work there are very nice and sweet, you can eat there or take out and it is delicious i highly recommend it

At the time of this review, this cafe had 4.7 stars. It does not deserve 4.7 stars. The iced Americanos were bitter, acrid, and excessively strong. We were served our coffee after 18 minutes. The vegetable sandwich was mediocre. In August, when vegetables are best, it should be difficult to make a mediocre vegetable sandwich. I'd skip this place for many of the other fine coffee shops in the area.

Such a lovely experience! The wife/husband team is so endearing. It gives off the feel of locally owned, and operated with love. There is so much good food in vic, that finding a place with tasty eats and genuine people running it feels like a blessing! Highly recommend, support our local entrepreneurs

Friendly service- the owner is seriously so sweet. The sandwich and salad was good. If you’re looking to for something to fill you up it’ll definitely do the job, and very affordable food given the location. Only thing I’d skip next time is the chowder.

Little cute corner cafe with simple and amazing food. Really sweet host with a bright big smile which can be seen even with a mask on. I tried cold moccha, latte in drinks and chicken pennini, all were good. And yes do try the lemon loaf:)

Lovely couple in a medium sized shop selling food and drinks. This isn't a chain but a mom and pop shop. They are struggling through Covid-19 so shop her if you want good food

We were looking for a nice sandwich place for lunch, and the Sandwich Corner Cafe did not disappoint. The service was great, the prices are beyond reasonable and the sandwiches and soup were delicious. This was exactly what we were hoping for. I recommend swinging by for some good eats.

I was previously going to Starbucks for coffee, but stopped in here one day on a whim purely because it's close to my work. I am fairly certain the owner is also the one serving the coffee because the customer service was exceptional. It is also cheaper than Starbucks but of equal quality for the same size/type of drinks. As a result I'm now coming here instead. It is a little bit longer of a wait due to less staff but I think it's well worth it. I haven't had the breakfast but my coworker said the paninis are very good.

I struggled to find something to eat all day here in Victoria, until I came across this little shop! I love their talian classic panini, it was very flavorful and the bread was brilliant (not to soft not super crispy). Super affordable especially when you are from a small town and used to paying small town prices. Not huge a fan of the coffee but I only really got it to curb my caffeine headache, boyfriend didn't seem to mind it though!

They were quick, good service, and great paninis and a good price. If you want a quick bite at a small cafe this is perfect

Stopped in quickly to grab a sandwich. Freshly made, just a nice basic sandwich. It's all I wanted after many days of travel and eating out. Very friendly staff.

Friendliest people - sorry we didn't get your names. The menu had delicious food and everything was heated. We were having trouble finding a cab as we were traveling from Edmonton, and they helped us by providing the telephone number for the cab and the bus route to the ferry. Thank you guys for your help and hospitality. You are doing an AWESOME job!
