Yes, I visited today, and it's on the side of the road, there are houses nearby, the place is very beautiful, but the best part is just taking a look in passing!

Beautiful lil spot to somewhat get a way from it all. Parking COULD be an issue at times. Quiet here too.

My friend and I decided to check out the secret beaches of West Vancouver. Sandy cove park was the first on the list. After parking on the sidestreet we wandered down this series of steps and end up at what looks like an old pump station.i was hoping it was washrooms. Nope.the beach was made up of rocks. The type that would be perfect for skipping stones with on the water.the view is great. You look across English bay at Spanish banks, u.b. C.and the huge container ships waiting to be unloaded. First attempt to go in i got up to my ankle and turned back. Brrrr. Didn't take long to try again. What a sweet little beach. As the tide came in people shifted together. What a wonderful day to start our tour of the secret beaches of West vancouver

Visit at low tide otherwise you won't be able to enjoy a long walk along the water. No sand, all rock beach when the water is out so I'd wear shoes. Almost no one will be there so you have the place mostly to yourself.

I love the exclusive feel of this spot. In the off season it's often just me. Flush toilets are a bonus. Very swimmable.
If you have physical limitations be aware there are rovknstairs from Marine Dr. To the beach.

Nice small park, but lots of people. Seems like a nice place to have some fun in the ocean

Very nice park, can get a little crowded and doesn't have too much parking but it is a gem in whatever-the-saying-is!
