Sapperton Return-It Depot

We found this new location last year. It’s been great. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. We love coming here for our returns.

The people at the sapperton depot are always so kind to my kiddo and I - the best return it depot around!

I find this recycling depot better than some other ones in my area because they take an assortment of recycling items like electronics, styrofoam, other plastic packaging, light bulbs, batteries, etc. They have parking right in front and is usually not too busy. They keep their facilities and equipment cleaner than other places. They keep their carts, tables and trays pretty clean.

The usual lady that works there is very friendly but they seem to have hired new staff and some aren’t as familiar with the recycling items.

Bad service where my friend was treated badly from a Asian lady with red hair but not sure she was having a bad day and told my friend to go to another bottle return depot.doesn't mean if the place was busy that the employee has to take her anger or frustration on a client so thumbs down

Great place to recycle your recyclables. Also there is one older Asian woman that works there that is really friendly. Makes the experience of going there a pleasure.

Don't use the express bottle depot here. I dropped off 2 big bags of pop cans. They counted 1 bag and the person who counted was off by alot. Never found out what happened to the other bag. So I got $15 when I returned almost $40 dollars of cans. Will not ever be returning and I suggest you don't either.

Friendly staff, big open space, express machines, washroom facilities and sink with soap for those complaining about getting their hands dirty sorting through their own bottles/cans. Also full price for alcoholic containers 10 cents.

This place is clean and honest. They give you the correct amount, and the staff are helpful. My only complaint is that they are located behind the train tracks and if you come at the wrong time when the train is passing by you can't turn in. Nonetheless, I always go back here because it's hard to find a good, clean, honest bottle depot. Just give yourself an extra 5 minutes like I do, just in case there's a train.

I love this place! It's super clean and doesn't smell like most of the recycling depots. The staff are always so friendly and very helpful. This is the only place I'll go to now because they make it such a pleasant experience!

Best bottle depot in area. Everyone always friendly and helpful. I don’t get any anxiety here to rush like I do at the other depots. Carts always available here and usually no line to turn in your bottles. Only downside is the parking situation since I have a truck but usually have the same problem at the other depots. Plus it’s open later than the other ones. Wouldn’t take my bottles anywhere else

Mostly in on a monday to do the weekly recycle. I find this depot is always clean and organized and the lovely lady who processes my stuff is warm and friendly. It is actually fun to recycle so many things in one place.

Other Return-Its give me a rushed feeling and lots of anxiety but this location has the NICEST staff and they're very happy to tell you where to put things like broken household items or large cardboard etc etc. The location is a little small/slim parking but if you go during the week you'll likely find a spot! Thanks to all the staff for making this location the best one I've been to:)

The cleanest depot around. Super friendly staff. The only reason for 4 stars is the location can get very busy, given the railroad crossing. But at a slack time I'd give it 6 stars!

Very pleasant experience at this location. Full deposit return for all containers and liquor items. It was busy at the end of the day but the lady at the counter was patient and helpful with a smile at the end. Much appreciated!

This place is very well run, clean, and welcoming. I hesitate to rate them this well.it's quite busy at peak times, this might make that worse! LoL!

My favourite depot! Clean, well-organized, with a very friendly staff! Never extremely busy on weekdays. Hard to get in and out of at rush-hour due to lineups on Braid Street, so I avoid these times. Othwise, great place!

Busy location and at many times of day the road is blocked by trains and traffic congestion. Could be cleaned more like most of the return-it centers. I think that for the recycling program charges the consumer it should take a stand for the health of workers and customers that better incourages the health and welfare of all.

Updated Review: Due to Covid I have switched over to the Return It Express option. This bottle depot consistently rips me off. Last time I left 5 bags and was refunded $31, this time 6 bags for $33. How does that make sense? Why give the Express option if you're sour enough about it that you Rip people off? I'll definitely be going to the Queensboro Return it over this bad joke.

Previous Review: Always clean, lots of carts to use and friendly staff. Contrary to what others are saying I have asked for and recieved gloves from staff when I forgot my own. Hand sanitizer next to till also. Accurate and quick count. Washroom for use and parking area next to doors.
