Sardis Soap N' Sudz Laundromat

Chilliwack only has 2 (although technically 3) laundromats in town. Unfortunately, the prices reflect this, but that's business.

Of the two, this is my preferred location as the workers have been friendly and welcoming, but don't hover. I enjoy the vibe the morning ladies have going on at the shop.

One convenience I would love to have added is a debit machine, as it is cash only.

The staff are amazing. We don’t usually go to the laundromat unless we have something too big for our machines at home. Charlene was so helpful and friendly! I’m giving 2 stars as the owner is one of the rudest, most ignorant men I’ve come across. I missed most of the incident or I would have intervened but from what I caught, he was telling off an indigenous woman and trying to say she broke the washing machine and caused it to start leaking even though it was already doing that. They had towels under the entire row the entire time we were there, before this lady or the owner even arrived. He threw her change at her and onto the floor and when she got upset, he said more to her that I couldn’t hear and when she called him a racist, he kicked her out. Although I couldn’t hear what was said, this is not the first time this guy has been rude in general and also not the first time he has been rude to indigenous people. My mom was there a few years ago with an elder she worked with and the owner was being rude and ignorant talking to him, not realizing my mom was there with him until she said PARDON ME? Honestly, if this this guy is so miserable being there, he needs to sell the business and get out.

The gentleman working was incredibly rude, angry and insulting. You could not pay me to go back I will be washing my work clothes in my hotel sink.

Visited for the first time today and wasn't sure how everything works. The two ladies working were very friendly, and really helpful from the moment I stepped in the door. I didn't have cash with me, so they even fronted me the coins for the washer and allowed me to start my load of laundry (as it gets very busy), and run out to the bank for cash while my laundry was washing! I am very appreciative, as it was definitely busier when I returned. Really great service and very friendly atmosphere.

Great customer service. Great prices n location. This is The Best laundromat in The Wack. Definitely highly recommended. Cheers

The old man working there was extremely rude just because I asked twice the price for the load sizes. Disgusting service. Is truly amazing that he couldn't handle a simple explanation of prices for the brief minute I was there.

To the woman with the short grey hair and accent that was working June 3 approximately 12 noon…. If you don’t like your job then may I suggest you find another. The way you treat the public is disgusting! We will no longer be using your services as long as the owner keeps ignoring the complaints about you and your treatment of customers. It’s too bad…. Your location was convenient for me but I will find another place to take my business.

Terrible place the lady screamed at my wife and I to vacate the laundry mat even though we were in the process of doing our clothes nobody else was asked to vacate the establishment also took 40 minutes in the dryer on high and still wouldn't dry the clothes never going back will travel to Abbotsford where the people are nice and friendly

When I was in the laundry mat the lady upfront guenuinely listened to a gal really having a rough go at life, as she was loading her laundry and had already made change for the machines…. That beautiful soul that was working there, she walked into the back room came out and gave the girl 20 bux and said “ u know what dear, laundry is in me”. Now I’m not sure if the clerk knew it or not but I saw the girl go from being on the brink of giving up, to wind back in her sails! I am convinced that if this wonderful, intuitive, gracious woman had not generously help this gal out, she may have, just given up! The gal resisted but the angel insisted and my heart is warm. So nice to see amongst all the hate, uncertainty, fear, and quite honestly dog eat dog world we live in, there are still angels among us.
This angels name is Ellen! She is also very fun, cheaky and just a hoot to be around and I will NEVER go to another laundry mat while I live in the chilliwack area!

Friendly and clean place to do your laundry. The lady is really welcoming and hardworking. I personally, only like to go there is when she’s around.sometimes the place gets quiet busy.

Nice small Laundromat. Only a few washers and dryers. But it was clean. They even offer a drop off service. And the lady that was there was sweet as pie. Good place to wash clothes.
