I had an appointment with Emanuel and he didn't cut my hair to the way I asked him to

I booked an up do/style service appointment for my daughter who was having grad photos later in the afternoon.
My daughter and I have both had services at Sassy Cuts in the past and have had great experiences.
Upon walking in, all conversations stopped and we were greeted as if we were interrupting something. We explained what it was we were after, that it was for grad photos later on, wash and style was what was going to be done.
I popped out to go to the post office. 16 minutes, no exaggeration, later my daughter texts me saying she is done. Yes, hair was washed. This was the quickest, most lack lustre hair style I could have imagined for her on this day. The bangs were floppy, the curls looked like they were fresh off curling iron (not styled at all), the back was not curled up to match the front/sides. The woman at the front told me it was $47 and change without a smile or pleasantry. The person who “did” my daughters hair was back having the conversation we obviously tore him from, looked over and asked “good? ”.
An unsettling experience on someone’s special day, find another salon to book with so you have the attention and care you deserve.

My experience. I was there for 4 hours. I needed a lot of help. Leila, you are a miracle worker! While I was there I watched 2 stylist + 1 reception make at least 9 people very happy, they walked out looking great, from young to older, and reception was on top of the whole salon the whole time. I will be a return customer.

Honestly first time i went back in a few years wanted a hair cut and bread trim the hair cut was fine but when it came to the beard the lady had no idea what she was doing just butchered my beard spots cut down way to deep leaving balds spots

I showed a picture of how my hair has been cut in the past and it was ignored. Stylist keeps blowdrying my curly hair and making it very fuzzy and then cutting it dry? !? I was very unhappy. Then they had the ordasity to charge 48.00. Said I had long hair. My hair was not long. I will never return. Almost cried my car because I was so disappointed

Totally messed my hair up
I paid 37 bucks and had to go home and cut it myself with my trimmer.
After it dried one side looked like it wasn't even cut.
Will never be back to this place ever again.

I came in with my hair freshly washed and how I naturally wear it. I explained in great detail how I have thick, fine textured, wavy hair with about a million cowlicks, and that I need LONG layers to not end up with a triangle when I get out of the shower.

The apparent solution? Straightening my hair (which I will never do in my day to day life) and then hacking it to one step removed from a blunt cut bob. I told the woman it was good and left just so she would stop jacking my hair to pieces. I don't know what she thinks "long layers" means, but to have more than two or three less than an inch different between the top and bottom layers would have been nice.

So now, I get to fix this mess and deal with 6 inches of hair being chopped off for a style that I specifically asked to NOT have.

My stylist, Gwen, is amazing. Her cuts are always spot on and I get lots of compliments. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a great hair stylist

Giving this a mid rating.

My first attempt at getting a blunt cut long bob ended up being an inch longer on one side. I went back for a correction, and they were very accommodating. Everyone there is very nice, but the skill levels clearly differ.

Ended up, with tips, spending $80 on what looks like a $20 haircut.

Nice clean.staff polite. Cut the way I like they make sure you happy with the way it looks
