The food I ordered was gobhi manchurian, chhole bhature, gol gappe, French fries and tandoori stuffed alu parantha. Manchurian was hopelessly sweet. After one bite I asked them to either make another one or take fix it, they fixed it by adding a lot of spice, which didn’t fix it obviously. Chole bhature were actually oil dripping as someone had already said in the reviews. God knows why we ignored it. Gol gappe were stale. Alu parantha was made of flaky maida, which was no way near to home cooked food. This place didn’t serve anything that would feel like home cooked food. The food isn’t less expensive, also we ordered Manchurian which was priced different in the menu card and the owner billed to us a higher price. Serving part was fine, that serving robot was fun for kids but when food wasn’t good, I am not going again!

Poor service. Took 35 mins for our order. Restaurant was not even busy. Ordered vada sambar. Vada wasn't fully cooked.

Best navratri thali in the market. It's cheap as well as the portion size is more than enough. Order 1 thali for 2 people if not that that hungry. The taste is just awesome. It's authentic Indian food.

As a student I would really recommend this place when you have fast. It's fulfilling and not expensive. But they should work on their service.

Way more expensive. Quality and service needs to be looked after. Charging 5 dollar for very small portion of dish that should be less.

The food quality was very low and unhealthy and I don’t recommend u to visit this place.for waste ur precious money and time.

I think it’s just a hype, we ordered chefs special paneer garlic naan and paranthas one was gobi and another one was mix and lassi also we tried gudd wali chai but it was not available. The only thing i can recommend mix parantha everything else was just confusing no taste gobi parantha I don’t even wanna remember just tasteless. The service was ok it just the taste was not satisfied.

Went there last time food is ok menu is too long to keep everything fresh.
Robots delivery food after order but they are dirty.
Overall they should clean more specially the Robots which deliver food.

Quality of food has gone down so much. We ordered bharata and it has no flavour, no onion, garlic or anything. Chickpeas was tasteless. Pranthas was full of oil and no freshness. Overall expensive and tasteless food. Please don't waste your money there.

Best Pure vegetarian restaurant in lower mainland Bc. Its been more that 6 years and we till today love their food. They even serve food with no onion and garlic which is really amazing and tastes delicious.

Poor service, had to wait 30 minutes before order arrived and by that time other person had already finished his food.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Went there for breakfast. Chole were okay but their bhaturas were really nice. We also had masala chai and doodh pati chai but $5+ for small cup of average tea is not worth it.
Will go again to try their parathas and tandoori stuffed naan

I am a regular customer for almost 3 years now. In our recent visit we tried kulcha's, Dabeli and Noodles. Everything was awesome. We did catering as well multiple times and our guests liked it. Owner and staff is very friendly. Best place for Jain food as well. I definitely recommend Sathya Asha.

The only reason for 2 star is the way owner (lady) treats people, their food is my fav no complaints but their prices for some items are ridiculous for instance milk shakes and milk badam is $9! Direct competition to Starbucks. And upon asking for some cutlery once, the owner lady told us how much expensive paper napkins and paper plates are. Too money minded zero hospitality.

Best food and prompt service!
Their veg, aloo and paneer parathas, chole - pulav and all other food items where very testy and mouthwatering. Sam and team deed a great job of on time delivery as well. I would rate the food quality as one of the best in lower mainland.

Poor management. Worst experience of my life. Don’t recommend this place at all, food is disgusting. Completely tasteless, no salt or spice, and quantity is so less. It was my first time visiting and and I will never come back.mango lassi is very disgusting and is full of food color.

A very good place to have nice Punjabi food. We tried their Chana Bhatura, Amritsari Kulcha, Chole Puri, Roti+Shahi Paneer, and Mix Veg Pakoda. Loved everything, except Shahi Paneer. Way too creamy to get any other taste. But otherwise, the rest of the items were amazing - especially Amritsari Kulcha.
The service was decent, considering the rush. Reservations are recommended if you are going on a weekend since there is a lot of rush. We had a waiting of about 20 minutes since we didn't make any reservations. The table service was good. They have these robots as well that serve the food on some of the tables.
There's limited parking outside but finding a spot can be difficult on a busy day.
Definitely recommended.

Delicious food items and so much of variety in the menu. We have been visiting Satya Asha for frequent breakfasts and snacks since last 3 years. The authentic taste continues.great team of servers, chefs and owners, always a delight to visit here. They have recently included Robots to serve food which is a fun element to see for all age groups!

Have been going here for a few years now, usually for Sunday morning breakfast. Good food and service. Food is always fresh. Their paranthas and Chole bhature are a must. Opens up early and the owners are very courteous.

I use to be visit this place regularly. One day i went here and it was busy.
Owner told me to wait since there was no table.
I preferred waiting outside but he covered table because he had more people for it.
No respect for customers in short.

No doubt food is wonderful, but service is very poor staff very dull. I visit there recently, two kids with me we ordered one plate dahi bhala and one plate samosas. 30 minutes After finishing dahi bhala they gave us samosa plate ‍️ my kids needed water.she tell us we’ll give you water but they didn’t. Next time I’ll ignore to go to there

Best street so far in Canada. Best aloo kulcha, Raj Kachori. We even did a take out on vada pav, pav bhaji, sandwich.

The restuarants has recently gone below standard of hygiene and customer service. Also noticed no one checking vaccination cards. This place use to be so good. Understaffed in general and cleaning was below standard.

Just came out from Satya Asha, they have the best paratha in town, really good. Highly recommended.

Horrible Customer Service for below average food. The owners are rude, unwelcoming and in a zone of their own. Wouldn’t return even if my life depended on it.

Best Indian food ever! Only vegetarian Indian restaurant that serves a variety of dishes. Most importantly, every dish tastes unique unlike other Indian restaurants. Even their South Indian cuisine tastes authentic.
Don’t miss their Stuffed Chole kulcha, vada pao or Rava Dosa!

By far I have tried vada pav, samosa and vegetable plate and taste has been good so far

I’m a South Indian and impressed by the Dosa and poori! Definitely recommended to anyone who wants a taste of authentic Masala Dosa. Chutney was tasty too.

Pranthas were good but poor customer service, one girl was handling all tables ; should atleast hire more for better customer experience. We ordered coffee and it was too sour. Good but can still improve.

This place has the worst customer service. I went there on a recommendation from someone and let me explain scenario:

They asked us to sit on a spot

Then we waited for around 20 mins just to place the order just because they were busy in cleaning the tables

Finally a waitress came to take order. And then i have to wait for another 25 mins just to get the dishes gor the food

At the end i received my food after 40 mins

Staff had no sorry even on their face.

This is definitely not a restaurant where i will visit again.

There is no professionalism in owners. Lady working at counter had no mask on but they had huge sign up for mandatory masks. Food was ok but service was missing. Server came to table only to drop food off. There was no courtesy of any kind or even a smile or thank you. Last thing rabri falooda was $9 including taxes but it was smaller in size then salt shaker beside it and it was also missing rabri.

We had a lunch at Satya asha today the food is really delicious and service was also good. It’s nice and clean place to dine in. I ordered Thali, samosas and burger all the items are delicious and according to our authentic Indian taste. I would recommend it also because i am pure vegetarian and it’s hard to find pure vegetarian dine in here. Best vegetarian ever i dine in here. Although i found prices a bit high but still i love this place.

I go to Satya Asha only to eat stuffed pronthe. Paneer Paronthe are my favorites. 1 plate gives you 2 large sized paronthe with curd, achaar and butter. The size and accompaniments fill me up. Not too pricey either. The service is good. Very clean restaurant with very hard working staff.

I had their “makki methi prantha” and it was really good. Two weeks ago i went their and ordered pneer prantha but then I realized that they do have makki methi too so i just went back last weekend for ‘makki methi prantha’ and i really loved it!

Allo kulcha is highly recommended with mango lassi. Staff was cooperative especially Daman served me great food with politeness.

Best place for all kinds of paranthas. And the spicy Jal Jeera is with it is definitely a deadly combo. Covid protocol is being followed. Also try their chana bhatura.

The food was good quality and was overpriced. We ordered pakore for $11; there were only 8 pieces of pakore. We called out the manager as well and she said ‘`it’s their standard size’! Most of the food portions are less compared to the price and service. It was overall a very bad experience.

Awesome Food. Even i were looking for take out. But there was an uncle he said come on beta ji. Sit down on table and enjoy warm meal. That was awesome. Staff was so nice as well.

We ordered daal, fulka, masala dosa and makki palak roti.

Everything was tasty. Will visit again.

So expensive food, they are not even high end restaurant.
Me and my husband ended up paying 60$ for a place like that.seriously trying to compare them selves with cactus.
Pranthas pretty good but still should not worth too much money.

PATHETIC Customer service! ARROGANT owners!

Not at all recommended for dining.

Just visited the restaurant, after confirming table availability. The heating was not working when it snowed last night and outside temperature was at 3 degrees. They did not inform about the heating issue with the dining area on the call i made before visiting.

When we seated and complained for lack of heating, thats when we were told that the heating was not working. Though we were uncomfortable with cold, we decided to order thinking we could bear the chill for some time.

We waited calmly more than 30 minutes and no server was able to confirm when we will have ordered food on the table. Finally, I decided to express my frustration about lack of heating and delays on the order. To my surprise the owners had no regrets for the poor service and lack of heating in his restaurant. He instead assertively that the order here takes time.

This is unacceptable as a customer. First of all if you do not have bearable seating conditions, you should close dining and operate as take away only. Secondly, if as a owner you are choosing profits of customer experience, you should be apologetic and prompt in getting food on the table, so that the discomfort due to cold can be minimized. The restaurant owners on the other hand were RUDE and ARROGANT when i complained about the heating and delays in serving of the order.

I do not wish to review food on the review because if the owners have no respect for customer experience, they don’t deserve any of that.

It was not a good experience. The food was tasty but the costumer service was not good. The lady on the front desk was behaving so rudely.

The menu is overwhelming! And as a foodie, I say that in a very good way. We ordered the samosa tikki, mooli paronthe, bhindi, aloo kulche cholle and lassi. Everything was delicious! Service was quick and efficient. I'm going to be a regular here.

I am from Brampton, Ontario we tried chole bhathure and tandoori prantha. Both were not delicious. It feels like you are eating home cooked meal. Not a restaurant meal. We get way better chole bhathure and paranthas in Toronto area.

The customer service at the entrance or i can say the receptionist is very rude. They take a much long time to prepare food. No doubt the food is good but their customer service is very bad. At last i can say that the lady who is owner do not treat their customers in a nice way.

The waitress didn't bother to remove plates. Food quality is okay. An old spot good for chat items.

We did catering for our party and it was the biggest mistake. We ordered extra 8 ppl food and still it wasnt enough for us. It was so embarrassing in front of our guests. Never ever gonna give them business again. Stay away from them

Such a bad service I wait for 10 minutes no body show up for order then I ask the owner that I'm ready for order even after that no body showed up such a disgusting service and server have no manner, how to treat a guest.

Worst restaurant in surrey, probably the tiniest samosas I have seen and even the stuffing was not fresh it was like whatever.
When we called in about it, they replied we do business like this. Don't bring your business to them. You will regret it.

Pathetic customer service, never felt so unwelcomed at a place. I wanted my non-Indian friends to have an experience of the cuisine and took them there. The lady didn't even greet us, or was mainly back talking about stuff that we asked in a rude manner. Idk how the business is running.

We dined in and had the masala dosa platter and vada sambar with gajrella and chai. Food was delicious, servers were courteous, didn't take too long to deliver. Not sure about other items but what we had matched our expectations. The place was overflowing with customers on a Sunday morning but they still managed to seat us quickly. That probably speaks to how organized they are. This restaurant is a must visit in Newton, Surrey for anyone looking for a decent south Indian vegetarian foodie experience.

Pathetic Customer service by the owners and staff. We waited 50 minutes on our table for Food but we never received our food, staff kept saying its coming in 5 minutes. So we decided to leave and complained to the owner that we didn't received our food, instead of feeling Sorry He started shouting at the staff to cancel our order as they are leaving.

Wrost experience of my life. Today (14september2021) Came here with my friends and ordered bread pakora which was labeled for 7$. And when they bought the plate there was a simple one bread with four pieces. There price is not favourable with the quality of the food. And they doesn’t mention about how many pieces would be there.

Cannot believe what just happened!
We went for lunch, had 2 entrees and ordered appetizer Batata Vada Pav and server brought batata vada appetizer
We told her thats not what we ordered and she said she will ask the kitchen.
Then another server came and said No thats what you ordered. Well I guess she knows more.
I told her that we didn’t want it and she can take it back. Then came a big surprise!
She said But you still have to pay for it.
I guess they should hire better servers or get a training atleast to handle a complaint.

Their website is not updated. Rates shown on website are less than what they actually charge. Stuffed Prantha quality has really gone down and not worth the cost. There are lot of other places for Tasty Stuffed Pranthas.

Went there to have aomething for my breakfast and stayed there for 5 minutes no one attended me then a girl came to ask may be it was there owner who asked her to attend other customers and said I will attend her then he started doing his something else. I Felt it was because I was student others matter she doesn't

I tried different south Indian restaurants for Idly and Dosa but here at Satya Asha Idly & Dosa has good tastes similar to south Indian taste. Coconut chutney, Sambar and tomato chutney was also good.
I will suggest this place to visit for someone who is looking for soft idly and dosa with Indian taste.

I mostly order Paranthas. Paranthas are tasty enough, but I do not like their Yogurt. It tastes different and weird. The service is not that good either. Other food I don't like that much compared to other local Indian restaurants. I felt it is a bit over-rated.

Very nice Indian Vegetarian in Surrey.
Their menu is pretty extensive. They have a wider variety of food from different parts of India.
We tried some of their Punjabi dishes and they were pretty good.
Staff is courteous.
Decor is average.
Will try again for sure.

Really bad people. I visit there several times I saw aunty on counter, she is good but yesterday, morning I visited there was an uncle and I really felt bad that he yelled at a girl working over there, I mean you can’t yell out on your companions in front of customers it shows how professional you are. I can’t really enjoy the food because i was feeling bad for the girls who is working there.
