This place is garbage. They didnt get any of the stains or discolor out from the jacket after dry cleaning it 2 times. When dropping of the jacket i showed what i wanted addressed and wasnt told there would be a problem. She was rude aswel and still wanted full payment. Avoid this place.

Awesome Affordable drycleaner and tailoring service. Anu (Owner) was very helpful, she sat me down and she told me about the prosses of drycleaning and the prices. She really knows her business. I highly recommend

Save-On Dry Cleaning is the spot! Anu is always friendly and lighthearted as she takes the time to walk you through the services to fit your need. She is attuned to interpreting hand gestures explaining ‘how’ you want things to fit (helpful!) and adds her own thoughts in the process. A recent visit for suit tailoring turned out better than expected and the cost was fair. Following dry cleaning, Anu took the initiative to deliver a rug to my home (I was on foot) ; truly appreciated and another example of the care she takes.

Terrible experience; dropped off some trousers to have 2x holes stitched just below the knee on either leg. Dropped off on a Friday, told to collect on Monday. Arrived on Monday to find out they weren’t ready, came back on Tuesday to find that she had mysteriously stitched a smaller hole on the lower leg and that she never stitched the original 2x holes I had asked for! Woeful experience, never going back.

I've recently had to get several clothing altered for a trip to an Indian wedding, and I cannot recommend Anu enough. She altered several pieces to perfection, but the absolute best was a dress I brought to have shortened, taken in, and replace the straps for: it turned out perfect. It is like a brand new dress! I am a total believer in alterations now. Beyond her sewing skills, Anu is also warm, welcoming, and generous, so much so that upon my return from my trip, I popped in just to say hi and tell her about it:) I will be returning for years.

Anu did a great job dry cleaning my down duvet and waterproof down jacket at a reasonable price and time frame. Highly recommend!

Anu at Save On Dry Cleaning and Alterations at Centrepoint Mall in Vancouver (not to be confused with other locations) is my go-to tailor. She's talented, friendly, and so very KIND (if you read reviews of other tailors on Main Street you will find that a lot of tailors and sewists are extremely mean to people about their clothes and bodies, which is why it seems important to mention that you don't have to deal with that here!).

As a plus-sized person, it's hard to buy clothes that fit my body perfectly (and in Vancouver, hard to buy anything in-person that isn't boring basics, period). I order a lot of my clothing online because of how bad plus size shopping is here in-person which means I don't get to try things on until they are in my possesssion. Meeting Anu-an actual seamstress who can do all types of alternations has been a game-changer for the fit of my clothes (and it costs less to alter pieces than to return them, especially to the US when there is no guarantee sizing down will address the fit concern). My clothes are valuable and carefully curated-I invest in quality-made pieces with the intention to wear them until they wear out. Anu has handled alterations of my one-of-kind (read: irreplaceable) pieces from nooworks, WRAY, and Fashion Brand Company and I'm always been pleased with the results and the reasonable price point. She can also usually turn pieces around in a week or less.

This past holiday season I hired Anu for a special project: a particularly tricky arm gusset alteration on a one-of-a-kind vintage 60s silk chiffon dress. I knew it was risky to try and alter it at all (and Anu confirmed that) because the garment is old/fragile. Anu did an immaculate job and I was able to wear a dress I couldn't before. It looked incredible onstage (I wore it for a performance-I'm the one with the yellow hair: D). Fully recommend Anu and her family business-she doesn't miss. Especially convenient if you live in Mount Pleasant.
