The prices here are just the worst. It's bad enough we have this inflation but Save On prices are already about 2 dollars more than say Superstore for anything at all.

This is my favorite Save-On-Foods. Everything is always neatly shelved and stocked. The best part of my experience here is the the cashier Chris. She really makes the experience so great. Being very courteous and nice to talk too, and she usually has a fun shirt, hat or both that is themed to the time of year (Cool cat shirt with lights, or a fun mini Santa Hat, some Halloween themed shirt). Highly reccomend this Save-On-Foods, and going through Chris' isle when checking out cause she's so lovely to chat with when checking out.

What's up with the old geriatric creep hanging out next to the lottery ticket counter eyeing up all the people coming from the gym in spandex? Ewww.not going here again unless it's past his bedtime!

I had the worst experience in this branch, they had a new trainee on the cashier called Tone, she was slow and could not finish my order for 20 min (that is not the problem) but everyone else kept passing by doing nothing to help her out! Even her supervisor Vivian came and said she was new and left while seeing her still struggling and did not care!
Tone kept apologizing to me and I felt very bad for her! She got no support or adequate help and the line kept piling up while the supervisor was there in the customer service area!

In the spring of 2020 at the start of the covid I was hit on the head by an attacker while standing in their line up to get into the store. Their video was so blurry that the RCMP could not make an arrest. While I went to the hospital with stitches and a concussion their lawyer said they were not responsible and would not take any responsibility or pay any compensation. I abhor this store and avoid it at all costs.

Variety of diary products you can't find in Walmart, city market.

It's a last resort grocery shop for us. The prices are somewhat higher than Walmart and substantially higher than Costco. Customer service is a bit of a hit or a miss. The dreary faces of the employees tells us that they are probably working under duress. At least the Walmart and Canadian Store folks have a little spring in their step.

Store is overpriced. Last time I checked Gala apples were 2.94 per lb. They are always out of certain fruits, some of the shelves and refrigerated items are low on selection. Some of the items they had in the bulk section are gone and bins empty. Its just to expensive to shop there. Most of us don't have a choice though

Customer service sucks. Self service woman rude and not willing to help. Pay them well and hire people who really care about their job please.

It was very bad experience special those cashiers one of them treat one customers really back what I saw today and the poor guy he was handicap too I don’t know where they get this power from we are as a customers will make you to guys to move the business

Would give no stars if possible. Terrible customer service. After standing in line with 3 others with not enough tills open and no Express lane open on a sunday at 11am. The cashier randomly decided to close the lane and walk away with 3 customers still waiting in line, and could have cared less. Lost this customer.

It's just a regular Save-On. The one thing I really don't like about Save-On-Foods is the poor selection of products. They have a lot less than Safeway.

The lady at the self-checkout (black, 30 something year-old w hair extensions) was so rude and disrespectful. She doesn’t to want to help customers and when I asked a simple question, she gave me attitude almost yelling at me.very ill-mannered service.

Good store. But it is also only store I've seen that is selling fish filets with bones. And none of staff knows do they have tweezers to sell.

Stacking up those points again. Very easy to navigate the store as well. There is now a legend for the aisles as a bonus to the overhead signs.

Easy to get to, either driving, using transit or if you live in the neighborhood. Open at 7am. Great deli and bakery, seafood and fresh meats. Prices competitive. Staff friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Great community grocery store.

Every Moring i go to save on after the gym and go through Pats till.she is always so friendly.breathe of fresh air in the morning

Five stars on the products & Staff all seem to be getting better which is awesome however they still need to work on the misleading kooler at the store front it always seems to grab you attention but the prices and arrows pointing to product doesn't match. However that's is my personal opinion great store to spend your money at

Totally disappointed in how they go are going down every year. I couldnt share without one star otherwise I would. I have been in the naibourhood for past decade and every year I had hope it becomes better but got worst. Their pharmacy team are not professional they are not calling for pick up. They are always Shor on supply ornit give me enough medications despite my doctor's email and oh the attitude of the associates are horrible. One of them was so disrespectful that causes me to think of changing my pharmacy. I am mot sure if they care of feedback but that location needs attention. ASAP

Had a security guard at the opening on the second floor. This save on is smaller than others I have been to

I like shopping at this particular location - it’s well organized and there’s usually everything stocked. Easy parking option underground.

I shop here because this is the only grocery store that’s in walking distance from me. And one of the guys at check out helped me a lot. However, ,

Came here to pick up medicine. I was told they can't get faxed prescription from the original pharmacy. I got this message until I showed up here. I wasted 30mins to wait for my drug. They don't even call me. Disappointed alot.

Robby the deli manager was amazing! Super helpful and knowledgeable in helping us put together our charcuterie board. Yum.

Had a major shelf reorg about 6 months ago, since then seem to be carrying fewer items. Deli section and fresh produce are good.

I’m reaching out because of an unfortunate situation that happened to my son and I just Yesterday at this location.

It seems like Company’s such as Save On Foods & Starbucks are more than happy to accommodate you when you are shopping, but leave you high and dry when asking to use their restroom facilities.

Having shopped at Save On Foods for nearly 20 years, I was hoping to be in and out as usual. Little did I know that this would be the last time I would step into a Save On Foods ever again.

After grocery shopping for approximately 30 minutes, and spending $107.31 in the process, I was shocked to find out that my 6 year old son (neatly dressed in his private school uniform) was not allowed to use the bathroom as they were all “Out of Order”. Despite repeated requests, I was instead told to use the closest bathroom, being at the Starbucks located downstairs.  The situation was no different at Starbucks. Friendly smiles when taking your order, but that changes quickly as “bathrooms are for staff only”.

Suffice it to say my son was not able to make it to a bathroom in time.

I was so furious that I called and spoke to a Save On Supervisor (Mike) at the Highgate location shortly after leaving the parkade. He confirmed over the phone that the men’s washroom was “fine” and in working order, so there was no need to be turned away. In fact, he mentioned that I should have been more persistent with the Save On staff in my attempt to gain access to the washroom, which I find absurd.

After posting to social media, I received numerous messages about the poor treatment received here, and how this is happening all too common now at other locations.

My desire here is to prevent the same situation from happening to another parent, and let consumers know that Save On Foods puts profit first over human decency.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Savon until lately I went in I bought some things that had arrows pointing directly at it saying that that was the price well I didn't bother to look at the signs my bad well the signs were for something else that was on another shelf and the way the products were advertised I think it was very misleading so I brought it to the manager's attention but he couldn't even look me in the eyes even with his mask on secondly I had bought in a chicken roasted from their deli when I was just the day before I went into lockdown self isolation at Christmas was the worst hardest driest chicken I've ever eaten in my life I couldn't even eat it I had to throw it out so this happened again another week or so ago and I brought it to the staff's attention and they couldn't do anything about it so that's like $30 I've thrown away on their food this is unacceptable I will not be shopping there and if I have to it'll be the bare minimum when a manager can't look you in the eyes and he can't stand behind his products then there's no need for me to shop there especially when they won't refund you or at least give you the product that you bought that was so terrible you couldn't eat it Safeway would give you double your money back on salads and anything purchased at the deli if there something wrong with it but not at this Save on.this is my opinion you can take it or leave it but I stand by what I write and I have noticed that's the products at the store around the corner from Save-on has equal or better products for the same price if not cheaper Becky

The only reason they didn't get a five-star is because they don't practice social distancing enough in the store

Location is the primary reason we use this STORE, BUT HONESTLY this place is noticeably more xçvb

Not a bad selection, a little over priced compared to other vendors in the area especially their Gluten Free options. Bread is half the price at Costco. Great customer service and very clean.

The quality is even better than North Vancouver Capilano square. However, when I was asking a question about the isle number and product the guy didn't even look and I felt like he was ignoring the customers. Need proper training and educated clerk.

Normally I would have given them a five but I had to speak to the manager who couldn't look me in the eyes at all when I made my complaint and it was not resolved as far as I was concerned very misleading information on the products for sale. I will be taking my business to buy low foods better prices and brand new store

It's a good supermarket, their beef is ok, their rib eye is actually quite good and probably their best cuts. Their veggies are good quality but expensive, you can find cheaper veggies a few blocks down at Tommy's or langley market. Other than that it has a great selection of food and things you expect from any other super market. As for their cafeteria, if you come a bit later near closing you might be able to snag a few pieces for free if you are nice since they don't want to throw the food away.

I approached the customer service counter desk and asked for a product which they kept behind the counter, the lady takes a glance and said "we don't have it" since I'm a long time customer I knew where they store the product and I requested her to see there for me. She becomes annoyed and confrontational, but she found the product at the end because I insisted. I was expecting her to say sorry, she didn't. And she is the store manager.

Typical save-on-foods outlet that you will find all over Vancouver. Nothing remarkable to write about. Our go-to place for emergency groceries. Prices are steep as usual. I have found the employees to be very helpful. Like others have mentioned, the staff maintain this place exceedingly clean.

Ok branch. However I’m a bit disappointed that the store is large but they don’t really have much stuff in there.

I love how I know where all my staple items are and when they are on sale! Store is clean, well organized, variety of products and prices are great! Staff are friendly, fast, efficient & when it's busy, line ups still move pretty quickly. It's a great store to buy all your grocery needs! Fresh & frozen foods & snacks!

Great parking, over priced everything, fresh food, nice cakes, good fruits and vegetables, clean store, customer service is just okay, not so good, prices are just way higher than normal stores

Shoutout for deli hot chicken pot pie $4 single serving, on sale, the best!
Otherwise, typical big well stocked organised grocery store. Generally the prices are higher that I am used to.
Example, lowest apple price in season is ~$1.50 when fruit market 4 blocks away is $0.60.

Bought a cake yesterday evening and put into my fridge right after I got home. But I saw molds on the cake this morning. And I threw away the receipt so didn't go back to return. Just a reminder for you guys.

Great location cause we live close hahaha. But ya a bit pricy depending on what you buy.but saved me in multiple occassions when I had missing ingredients for cooking lol.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First of all Save on foods is one of the last place I would shop at because 95% of the items are over priced, anyway. I called high gates location to ask for the price of a box of pull ups (so I knew how much money to send my sons grandmother to pick some up) as it was a convenient location at the time and the first associate advised me she would have to transfer me to someone in the department, so another associate picks up, I asked the price and she goes to tell me that they don't give prices over the phone. I was a little thrown off then she responds with saying goodbye and hanging up.no sense of customer service or willingness in my opinion.so much for Save on foods commitment to going the extra mile for customers.

I love Save-on foods. Always have what I need.went in to puck up some flowers and fruits for staff. Staff were friendly. Security officer at the entrance, not so much.looked pretty intense. I know this SO has a problem with thievery but chill.
