Save on is always the same great store. I just wish they would keep washing their shopping baskets like during covid.

I like save on foods, not this is one though - worst grocery shopping experience every time!

Just moved to chilliwack from Abbotsford and went to go shopping at this location. My wife went to go to customer service to ask for change for the cart. The woman at customer service wouldnt even look at her and said nope we dont sell change here. I have never had any problems at any store to get change for the cart. That was just unreal. I was going to go say something to her but my wife said dont bother lets go elsewhere. I dont understand what the issue was but if it was maybe because she was having a bad day or just being ingnorant, maybe she shouldnt be in customer service.

Super disappointed with the lack of snow removal at 11am after a big snowfall. Went to Freshco and Superstore, both were nicely cleared. Come on Save On Foods, do better for your customers!

The gouging in prices is nuts. Can't support that madness. I'll go elsewhere to cheaper spots. Freshco and superstore

They’re expensive and almost not worth the groceries but the service is always nice so I have no hatred

I just experienced the worst sevice from one of there employees Lance.
Foesnt pay attention where he is putting bags of veggies on the edge of the counter so it falls on the floor and then tries to put it back in the bag.

Picked up one of their in store taco kits that they make there, worst $20 dollars I ever spent. It was not even edible, the tortillas were falling apart and almost powdery, the beef had a huge chunk of grisly fat that was not edible. The store itself I like but that was a huge fail.

The security guards create a tense uncomfortable atmosphere.why don't they have the same security guards at other save on foods. (discrimination that's why) also soooo Expensive. Veggies are not fresh and WAY to expensive (produce gone wild for the win) only shop here as a last resort

They contracted their parking lot to diamond parking, I didn’t even leave the lot and they ticketed me for 120$ and denied my appeal. I’m never going to any store on those grounds again. Parking companies are leeches and any company that supports such treatment of their customers doesn’t deserve my business.

My friend was not only refused service but told to leave before even asking for papers because he had his service dog with him. Literally being told get out. The manager had followed up after he made a poor review and that was the manager too by the way that did that. Even the manager that followed up told my friend only guide dogs are allowed which is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL TO DO. He stated they've had issues in the past with therapy and emotional support dogs but this is a SERVICE DOG. My friend has autism and NEEDS HIM.

I have now boycotted this location. The other location on promontory has never had an issue only this one. The progress has been contacted and head office as well. People with disabilities need to be supported not excluded.

The security guard they have working their that was on duty Wednesday October 12th@ 10pm used exclusive force including hitting her repeatedly with a shopping cart is rude and arigant. When I asked to speak with management I was told he's apparently above management and the when I was asked for the head office contact information I was again turned down. He proceeded to refuse giving me any information and then claimed I was a lier. I would strongly recommend they get new security and the officer in question should be charged

No good prices anywhere, plus their wing bar, they have started putting in foods from their frozen Ile section. It's just all wrong. Selling frozen foods for prices that are suppose to be fresh food is not cool.

Pretty darn good for a save-on. What makes it stand out for me is the staff definitely more than usual number of excellent people. Special shout out to Shane if I see him at a till I am getting in that line.

Few to no good muesli options (no sugar or additives), blackberries were no good, half had gone bad in a box; but otherwise the store is fine. Mostly posting to remind myself to go elsewhere for those.

The majority of the yogurt was expired or expiring today. Same goes for the bread products I looked at.

When I got to the self checkout I realized that you must have a Save-on-more card in order to get the sale price, I asked the attendant if she had one I could use, she said "unfortunately the management took it away", so I asked if I could sign up for one and she said "unfortunately the management has told us to stop signing people up".

Way to try and trick people into paying more than the advertised sale prices by restricting access to the membership cards required to qualify for said sale prices.

Meat and produce quality are generally great. The only issue is the regular prices are high. We do a lot of sales shopping here because there are great deals to be found from time to time. The workers I have encountered have always been super friendly and helpful.

First time shopping here It's a nice store but checking out is a disaster. The long lines at the till forced me in to the self checkout.where the machine kept complaining about the weight of the items. I finally walked away and drove 2 minutes fresh co. No self checkout there but I got my groceries

I went into this Save On today after having first been to the one at the mall and was not able to find what I was looking for. The mall location staff were very curt and not helpful when I asked them to help me find a product.

Upon entering the Salish mall location I came across Sara busy filling an on line order for a customer.
When I asked Sara if she knew where I could locate the product I was looking for she immediately looked it up for me on her phone.
She then asked her assistant manager, sorry I didn't get her name, to help as we couldn't find it.
The assistant manager then asked for help from another staff member, whose name I also didn't get, and the elusive Aji seasoning packets were located.
Thanks to all of you for your help, friendliness and determination to satisfy your customers.

I'm always happy to shop here. I'm glad if save on again I'm completely comfortable to shop here friendly responsible and they price match. If they don't have what I need they will do theyre best to find out when it will come in.

Why have a sign on the deli counter that it closes at 8: 00 pm when twice on Sunday nights I got there before 7: 30 and they said we closed early. Why not just say we close whenever.

I don't care for this store. Not that friendly an loss of wasted space. I can't find things I need an the shelves r empty plus the produce is NOT FRESH. There r something's r mouldy.

Prefer this store over other Save-On's in Chilliwack. Still disappointed this store doesn't have a wine section.

Normally this location is okay especially with the ride of town it’s on but after being yelled at by an employee telling me in the parking lot to “hurry up you have 10 minutes” when they close in 30 minutes is a little rough. I also was also inside less than 5 mins, not a bad place normally but definitely will be going to fresh co across the street when I need something near home or stick to superstore as my usual.

I just went for a casual trip to save on and everything was normal until I witnessed a what looked to be middle aged woman holding a ferret and nibbling on its extra skin around the ear. In isle 8.not complaining though.

I shop here once a year and usually around canning season. I don't shop here I shop in chwk where there is way more competition for better prices. I will stop at onreserve save on foods stores for a tax break but not impressed with Hope location. Customer service was nonexistent if ur not local they don't notice you

Big store with lots of choices.
Unfortunately many customers not following COVID guidance.no masks and no spacing.

Always better. Has great produce and always topped up. There's only two places I shop for groceries and save- on is one if them

AMAZING customer service and products.
If you can afford it. Around the corner at Fresh Co, the savings are significantly better

. Wow, you eat food too? ! It's a grocery store.it's okay. The produce there is usually pretty good though.

The security guards at the downtown save on are deplorable. I went to go pick up something and saw a security assualt a guy who stole something. Wouldn't ease up when the guy said that the security guard was hurting him. I went and told the assistant manager what I witnessed and he stood up for the security guard. The guy wasn't being violent or anything.

It seems they no longer sell bigger sizes (family size) or generic versons of most products.and the smaller quantity products cost more.

This is the only place i will shop now during the remainder of the pandemic. It feels safe and sanitized, the lines are visible and everyone practices social distancing, there is order in the chaotic world, and no one is trying to fight me like the weirdos do at wal mart XD Thank you Save-On!

Not a bad place to do some grocery shopping. Prices in my mind are fair and I have yet to have a negative experience shopping here.

Every single person working here is miserable. Chris the manager ignored me, a paying customer, and decided to chat with his coworker while I’m ignored and spending $400 at your store. Bonnie, Fergus, Justin and of course Chris the manager are the worst employees. You guys are a rude and miserable lot. Shame.

Good little grocery store. Make sure you have a save on card and their prices are a bit more expensive than other establishments.
Clean and friendly staff. Always willing to help and no bad attitudes being as this save on is more in the hood with crackies all around.

Their prices are standard.some of them are quiet expensive.if u are looking for saving some money.then.this is not the place for it
