Indifferent service today by very young men at deli counter.hot food case quite empty.no fried chicken and when I asked how long kid just shrugged.was mid day. Good chicken, missed a sale.too young for deli clerk, customer service zero?

Love this grocery in Canada. Great rewards program, a must these days and Bakery WOW. Please save some of your 'Tuxedo Truffle Mousse Cake' for us. We may even book the flight from Australia just for this cake! Need I say more!

Pharmacy - really great staff (5/5 customer svc imo) but don't trust hours posted on web. Not open until 6 pm in my experience. Must be closing at 5 pm these days bc I've come by after work twice and it's been closed. Probably staffing.

Felt awkward being asked for identification when I am clearly over the age of 19.regardless of the circumstances it's not my fault.that people who are underage had been caught buying cigarettes at the place.
Seems to me to be a store problem and I as, a, customer should not have been informed that the store had, been involved in underage people buying cigarettes.
Other than that. The place is ok

The outside and inside of the store is extremely dirty, garbages are constantly over flowing and spread all over the ground from people sitting out front all day asking for money. They need to pressure wash the main entrance from coffee spills and other messes. I've lived in sidney for over 10 years and this is the worst I've ever seen it.

Shocked at lack of training of cashiers. Asked young teenager at till to put my groceries in a cloth
bag. He literally threw them in and was very rude. Slightly older clerk came to ring in wine. Complained to him and he laughed at me.
This was a few months ago and I have not and will not shop there again.

If you don't want us to "bunch up", as the signs say all over your stores, then why have you closed the other entrance? You're forcing people to be closer together rather then spreading out! Makes no sense at all!

My parked car always get door dinged from other drivers in this parking lot! Avoid on a Friday afternoon!

Alot I like about Save on foods in Sidney. But in my opinion there are never enough cashier's. Always long lineups

Just a typical save on foods. Not as tight as say the Oak Bay Save on Foods. Which is a robust fruit and veggie department, lots of stock and not run on the backs of elderly employees and as many youth as possible. The discontinued aisle is on a rack where the constant bathroom line up stands as the freight door from the warehouse. Only one door for the entrance and one door for the exit which has no divider for the lobby with the 4 sets of doors.

Save on used to be cheap. Now save on is more like "spend on" or "save on nothing". Be prepared to spend extra dollars on regular brands.

Reasonably priced, recommend stop sales, as the prices seem to fluctuate wildly to cater to the sales. Fun bulk sections.

Have been coming there regularly while staying in Sidney helping my mother out. Most of the staff are semi friendly but the old guy cleaning the carts never smiles and the deli team really seem disengaged.

This is the only store I've come across where the meat department closes at a different time than the entire store.

Virtually no followed (not no plan, no followed plan) for safety or distancing, buggies taken without being cleaned, maskless staff over your shoulders in every section.so many issues to mention, I'll go to thriftys as they really have tried, even with the small store.heck theres even a guy blocking half the 1 entrance saying hi, you can't avoid his maskless self on way in.no line outside and busy inside.you have work to do saveon

Disappointing lack of covid19 preparedness, impossible to social distance effectively and not even staff are wearing masks. It feels unsafe I fear that things could easily go downhill fast in Sidney if people don't start taking the ongoing pandemic more seriously.

First choice for bananas, lemons, and produce listed in their weekly flyer specials. Best store for popsicles, frozen pizza and shepherds pie. And house brand products especially household items. Pharmacy is fantastic for service

Out of flyer items on second day of sale. Told that I can't get the sale price without my card. Only 3 cashiers open. Very few Covid protocols in place, including the staff. I will not darken their doorstep again. If there was an option for zero stars, I would checked that.

The staff here are the nicest ever. The most wholesome save on foods I've ever been to. Shout out to one of the cashier, Ashton, who brings a smile to me and my boyfriend's face whenever we see him.:)

My husband and I go to SOF weekly and we love it there. Everyone is very helpful but today we had an exceptional cashier named Abi. She was efficient, friendly and packed our groceries perfectly. She had our bags packed before we had finished emptying our cart. She was a bright spot in our day. Thank you SOF for hiring wonderful staff like Abi.

Exceptionaly poor customer service, the food in the deli is uninspiring and doesn't appear to be very fresh. Their Western Family products dominate the shelves.

This store is busy and i really enjoy the selection of choices.but there are a handful of employees that make the enviorment really awkward. I understand being young and having fun.but there is a fine line of what is appropriate and inappropriate when working in public.

YOU COULD ALWAY FIND THE FRESHEST THING IN HERE, ALL LOCl and international food as weel, many sore qite convenien, but it is price to compare with a ther grocery store

What's not to like about this grocery chain. Quality products, a great house brand, a price match guarantee and helpful patient staff.

Great selection, exciting tastings in store where sometimes you get to meet the craft worker who makes X or Y product. Love it.

Another awful, overpriced Save-On store, even when you get their annoying "More" card. Anyplace else is better.

Always great shopping experience with the exception of one time and reported that cashier and haven't seen her since. Great fresh produce, decent meat department, fine deli and lunch, excellent bakery.

Nice products and great variety, but the staff (especially the older ones) can be very rude and disrespectful, and being a regular shopper there, I stopped going there since their attitude started to affect my usual shopping experience.
