The lady in the bakery section, so so rude I think she’s look like from phillipins, no manners, don’t know how to welcome customer, how to talk with them, give her some extra classes on how to talk with customer, Fire her

People working here aren't that friendly; cashiers especially! I like other Save On stores but King George Blvd Newton needs to brush up on friendliness.groceries are expensive enough without dealing with unfriendly attitude

I usually like shopping here, but today was a different story. I was having some problems at the self checkout and was stressed on time. Navpreet was there & the checkout just wasn't cooperating. I asked her to check me out & she was flat ouy rude to me. "I have many other things to do" Well Mr SAVE on manager. I highly think putting Navpreet at the customer service desk is a big mistake. She hasn't a clue on how to deal with customers.

Great grocery store. I appreciate their coffee shop/ juicing area. Fresh cup of morning coffee there while shopping for groceries is handy. Babalpreet at coffee shop was very polite and helpful.

Cashier was nice only thing i dont like is when u get stalked by security through whole store because of profilling especially when I actually paid for everything

They work until 10pm but you would come at 8 pm to buy some chorizo and you wouldn’t get any because e they already hide all the meats and culinary like ALL of it. Be aware.

Dirty carts seems like druggie's using it keeping it back even dont bother to check especially after covid thing happen. They don’t even apologise for that.

Save On Foods has increased prices in Bakery products while shrinking size and amount inside packaging. Now too expensive and quality has gone down. Now have no reason to shop here as products are overpriced.

It's really good we can buy ice creams vegetables and it's cheap! You can get gift cards from here my recommendation to make a save on food card:)

Save On is not budget grocery shopping. You can often find the same things here cheaper at other places. I regularly find sale items at Save On are more expensive than regular price stuff at FreshCo or Superstore. Having said that, the bakery, meat shop, and produce are all top notch in comparison and I find paying a little extra in these departments to get quality is well worth it.

Always a great place to shop. I mostly go online and have my groceries delivered, I received gift cards and was unable to do this through online shopping. Wonderful experience. The cashier was very pleasant and professional and courteous and definitely has customer service. I truly hope the powers that be recognize the hard work all their employees go through. These are difficult times and the cost of food is unfortunately outrageous. That unfortunately is due to a shortage of a long line of careers that do not seem to have enough people filling these positions.

Thankfully, if you look hard enough you will find deals and the moresreward points are very helpful and the Flyers.

I truly appreciate all the staff's help and time.

I hope they know how lucky they are to have such good peeps.

Pharmacy is great. But the cashiers are so slow. Imagine needing to get home quickly to take care of a sick grandparent or kids and being held up by cashiers who can’t try a bit harder. I understand what it’s like being a cashier and it isn’t easy to always be in a great mood or work at hyper speed - but be a little considerate. Felt like no one on staff cared the line ups were getting worse and worse either. We’re already paying for overpriced groceries here lol at least try to care.

Have stuff no one else has.too expensive though.but you can get bargains.good selection.produce fresh

The pharmacy has really rude pharmacist i always felt judged and I was nothing more then an inconvenience

As a former employee I know thing wore starting to get bad over the last few year and they never help when it came to customer come first and some staff don't care to help out there was only one person that help the most was Phil

Just a regular Superstore nothing big but nothing bad it's just a good place to buy what you need

Where do I even start? So many specials with my rewards card I go crazy on groceries! Staff is so friendly and funny, I got a cashier the other day he was making conversation and jokes, really puts a smile on ny face clean and fresh produce I love it.

I Truly find Save On Foods The most expensive grocery store even before Covid-19 and the inflation.

It’s shocking, when you can buy two times the food at other grocery stores you have to question what’s going on. Scamming Customers in my opinion SAD! Meats, Dairy, vegetables, fruits, Breads dessert? You name it’s ridiculous, I’m surprised people even shop at these stores

The cashier was nice and friendly which is a big thing for me. I'm not use to the layout yet, as I just started to shop at this store. I'm not much for the "Club Card price program" though.

Good place, clean, good variety, good customer service. I like to take advantage of the specials.they have everyday items on sale always. Produce section is good and rarely out of stock. Bakery has a good range.i love the flowers/plant section. I use the curbside pick up service alot too. No issues with the curbside service and very prompt service too.

No Gud service at customer service, she is so rude and racist, she didn’t say Thankyou she just throw money, save on food need to improve their customer service and she must be learn some ethics

Rosie at the customer Service was so rude. We were there to return the items and she was so unprofessional and was not willing to help. Customer Service is about being polite and helpful to customers not about ruining their day or yelling at them. She is aggressive and not helpful.

Nice store. Well organized and very friendly staff. Save-on-Foods is not usually my go to place for groceries because the prices are comparatively high and the discounts are for card members only.

I was surprised and happy to see that the cashier offered to give the discounts via the store card. That is a wonderful service for non-card carrying patrons.

Have been coming here ever since it replaced the Ozone (lol). Great selection for my needs, it's clean and the ambience is nice. It can get busy at times with no self checkouts or few checkouts open, but they move through it fairly quickly, to be honest. The discount item section is a weekly ritual for myself and I enjoy the finds. Prices are really good for the items I buy most often. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable as well. I enjoy supporting BC businesses when and wherever possible and this Save-On is no exception.

Usually, I go to different location but this time when I shopped here it was really great experience. Jack is friendly and helpful cashier when I asked for item information.

Save on foods is the best grocery store around. Everyone is so helpful and kind and I shop here for my big shopping or just to pick up a few things. Always have sales on. I love this store.

Clean, decently stocked, prices are as reasonable as most stores and most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. Decent bakery and meat section.

What's not to like about a Save On? Great place to pop in to pick up a few things on sale, there are always great sales!

Customers services is not friendly at all. Place is not that organized. Even the pharmacy of Save On Foods is not friendly not organized.

I can't believe that in the middle of a pandemic not even the deli staff, let alone entire staff, cannot be bothered to wear a mask here. If you are handling food and coming into contact with hundreds of people daily, you should respectfully follow the guidelines set out by health officials. Until Save On starts mandating mask use I'll be shopping at better places.

This store has really gone downhill ever since the pandemic started. The cashiers and other staff are so rude and some of them don't even wear masks! AVOID THIS LOCATION.

This is the store I go grocery shopping at but myself and my family will have to stop as the deli staff doesn't not wear a mask. Myself and my family members have bought it to the attention of staff and management over 3 times in the past 3 weeks, yet they do not enforce the deli staff to wear a mask. I know that if dealing with food it is mandatory to wear a mask.

I can't even begin to say how thankful I am to the young guy that helped me out today. Today, my phone fell out of my pocket, and I can't even begin to say how much I was freaking out. I was going crazy looking for my phone, until I noticed an employee getting the carts together and bringing them to the store, I asked him for help, and he immediately went looking for my phone as well. He ended up finding it wedged inside one of the carts. With all of this going on, I forgot to ask his name; thank you so much for returning my phone to me, truly, save-on-foods is very lucky to have such an amazing and kind employee. Whoever this was at around 8pm on sept 28, thank you so much for going the extra mile for me!

Every thing organized. Neat and clean. Social distancing ensured. Store manager helping nature. All staff customer oriented.

Staff at Help Desk don't understand English. Just about every single time a mistake is made at register and always over charged!

I would like to extend a warm thanks for Billy and his team at Save-On Pharmacy. The experience I had with SuperStore/Loblaws was putting my life on the line and I had switched over without any issues. Billy handled it in a very professional manner and I am so glad I moved my prescription drop-off service here when I had three incidents in 3 months with their neighbor- SuperStore! Busy is not an excuse.

Lots of expired foods.just bought some ice tea last night (no date stamp on it) so I thought it would be safe. It was very rotten and I can’t return, as she did not give me a receipt. I also saw a couple mice scurry across the floors as well a good few times. I think I’ll stick to price pro from now on

Today I went to this Newton location. I was in the Isle of spices and then I heard the voice from a guy who was re-shelving far away do the Isle if I found everything ok. I replied back to him. He saw me leaving without picking anything & he asked again & then I told him what I was looking for. He came & helped me even though the item was not there, telling me the schedule of next delivery. Afterwards I went to milk section & the Lactose Free milk that I get was expiring in 2 days. I asked the girl who was also re-shelving there if they had any other supply @ back. All she replied back no that's all we have. I decided to go back to the same guy that helped me earlier, 1st when he saw me, he quickly got me a basket as I went in only for 1 item & got carried away. He kindly explained that when the next delivery of the milk is, offered to call another store & had the empathy to understand that how paying over $8 on item that only had 2 day expiry left is not the way to go. He resolved this matter very nicely & accommodated what I needed. Afterwards he even offered to carry my items to the cashier. I was very impressed with the customer service that I got from Phil compared to other staffs from same location @ different times. This was a very nice experience where he went an extra mile to help all the customers. I do remember that long time ago he had helped us on different matter which left a wonderful customer service experience. Thank you again Phil. Also had good expereince with the Cashier Kamaljit that helped me. Thank you both again

One in a white (most likely a butcher)
And what looks like a manager standing on the narrow walk way less the 4 foot wide facing each other talking smoking (two people facing each other on a less then 4 foot platform walk way are almost 1.5 foot apart when facing each other)

Round the year they are not busy, all of a sudden due to pandemic they become busy with sales growth 400%, Don't know how to tackle the delivery systems, food prices etc. Organic cauliflower was 3.49 in the flyer, but they charge $6 regular one, this is one of 60 items ordered for delivery. 20 items were not delivered, mainly fresh veg. Hope this pandemic is over soon. Unethical business practice.

Honestly I donot want to give even single star very bad experience and bad service, save on food was always my first priority but now I ll never go to this place. I went to get cake and and person there was helping another customer but it looks ge is just passing his time just showing them pictures of cakes and unnecessary stories.i was standing there from 25 minutes when I asked help he showed me attitude and said me aggressively that won’t you seeing am busy, I saw other staff near but no one came to help, then I came out and buy a cake from superstore with in 2 minutes. Seriously if this is service, save on food you will lose customers.

Good place to shop for your daily needs. Fresh food frozen food, meats dairy, bakery, laundry, pet food & host of other products available. You can also look for Organic food here

They had everything I was shopping for plus more. Great variety of Fruits and Veggies they also look great too. Meals that are awesome home cooked they are fresh and all ready for you to take home and heat up or not for dinner. Bakery fresh breads and more and of course all the GOODIES that one can find all through there! Milks, Cheese's, eggs frozen treats to what Babies eat. Great variety of Meats and just so much more. Great store with Quality and prices you can afford. Also clean, items look great, and Friendly Staff willing to help you! Great Store in a great location check it out see for yourself, you will be glad you did.

Parking is my only big issue with this place. The prices are great and all of the staff I have encountered have been wonderful to deal with.

Save on is (still) the best place to get your groceries. Fresh produce, friendly staff, and ample supply of pretty much anything you could want. Oh, and they're probably the cleanest of all the grocery stores.

It's clean, the veggies are good, and the lady at the fish / specialty meat counter is super friendly, and gives that old fashioned service that I thought wouldn't be possible at a big grocery. I particularly like the underground parking, because on rainy days, who wants to park in the rain and pack wet groceries?

DESPERATELY needs self scan! Every time I come here, I have to wait quite a long time at the checkout when only buying 1 or 2 items.

I am usually very please with the customer service at this location but one bad experience of blunt rudeness has ruined it for me. I will spare you the details.

Sometimes there are really good deals. Love the case lot sales. Parking lot can be tricky to maneuver in especially for larger vehicles.

I never see more than 3 tills open, despite 6 carts in each line. How does the always-dead location in North Surrey have self check outs before this one?

The best Save on foods store in Surrey well stocked customer service is great less staff in morning time they dont do price match. CASHIER BETTY is always smiling remembers you when ever I visit.

Super busy in the afternoons and near closing and never enough cashiers to keep up with the demand. They have the space for more cashiers but they choose not to run all the cash registers. Be prepared to wait.
Because of the wait times I avoid this store when I can.

I was pleased to find that they sell Meal Kits. I really like that I can pick one up when I feel like it. Super helpful staff.

Nice little store. The staff was friendly and helpful and reminded me about using a coupon to get me extra points which was nice.

The store is nice but they had roasts on sale yet they only got one box in so we went to superstore and got it there save ons biggest problem they never have cashiers you wait and wait I dont go there anymore because I'm tired of lining up took my mom for the roast but didnt get one anyhow

Loved that shop until i moved SALE sticker and saw what was the actual regular price underneath. I couldn't believe it at first. So sad they lie to their customers.
