Always a long line up here. Grocery shopping is even faster than waiting for a prescription pick up or someone to help you. Today, I waited more than 30 mins just standing and waiting at the pharmacy. The lady staff, Belindar I guess, (Punjabi) was also very rude. She was sighing while asking me what I need. C’mon guys, people are already sick. Please be patient. I love the other staff that works here though especially the guy and the Chinese lady. This is the first time I was treated bad in this location. I’ll make sure to ask for another pharmacist the next time I come back again, if ever.

When there shortage itrms like egg or milk every where else Save on foods is well stocked.
But the staff needs to be reminded to refill the racks at times.

Save on has exceptional selection and great prices. It has the best selection of international food.

Accessibility information - This review was prepared by my Social Studies 9 class after a site visit and an interview with the manager.

There are multiple slanted sidewalks leading up to the doors that open automatically, which open into a very wide entrance. Everything is on the same floor level, making it accessible for all people in wheelchairs and scooters, and the aisles are nice and wide. The deli counter is very high, so if someone in a wheelchair wants to buy something, they would be virtually invisible to the person working behind the counter. The eating area is nice and spacious with low tables. The pharmacy counter is low, wide and accessible, as is the seafood counter. Some products are harder to reach, and some makeup products are somewhat difficult to pull out of the manual dispenser. The fridge doors were easily able to open, but the products were too far back to reach. There are multiple accessible parking spaces, all fairly close to the doors, and clearly marked. There was one sign that was fairly worn out, but other than that everything was quite clear. Overall it is a very accessible store, they have plans for the future to purchase scooters for those in need of them.

Had a really bad experience due to the workers that stock the shelves. I purchased two Kraft Burger Sauce and each one was all ready stale dated. My fault I didn't check before purchasing them. Bought in 2020 and best before date was 2019! Watch for those dates.

Yesterday I went to buy a2-item combo meal, $8.99. I select vegi and soy chicken. Vegi is ok but the soy chicken was like rubber. I guess it cooked / kept for too long time. There also not many choice at 4: 30pm. Several chicken dishes and one pork sausage. The quality is much worse than before. I may not go this section again.

I came to this store 3 times in a week to purchase egg tarts because of the $6.49 deal for 6pack as mentioned on the flyer. I came on Friday but not enough to tarts for the $6.49 deal and then again on Saturday but it seems the bakery section don’t make them on Saturday which is really unfortunate because there’s no sign saying this. So I come back on Sunday and luckily this time I manage to 6 for the $6.49 deal advertised on the flyer. However when I proceed to the self-checkout, I’m being charged over $10 for 6. I spoke to the lady at the customer service about the discrepancy and so she looked to the store flyer to ensure $6.49 is the right price. However, and this is not the first time, customer service is not provided the flyer that shows exclusive deals for the Fleetwood store so I’m not able to show her $6.49 is the correct price instead of $10. And the lady exclaims she only gets the BC wide one and has no idea what I mean by the FLEETWOOD flyer. I spoke with other employees and they seem to think I’m talking about the Guildford flyer. So I had to run back to the bakery aisle on my own to grab the sale tag to prove $6.49 is the right price. Luckily another employee was nice enough to give me the tarts for free from all that trouble. So a couple issues here is:

1. Your employees are not properly equipped with the flyer that advertises your store specials specific to FLEETWOOD. See attached photo of FLEETWOOD flyer.

2. Why are egg tarts frequently not made on Saturday which is typically the most busy shopping day for families and working professionals?

I am leaning towards going elsewhere to get egg tarts in the mean time as this seems like a frequent issue with employees not being provided adequate tools to serve their customers.

What is it with these big box pharmacies that put you on hold indefinitely? !
Save on Foods claims to “Go the extra mile for you” but it seems unlikely and hard to believe when the pharmacy cannot answer their phones despite being paged numerous times AND having someone already on hold! I know because I was on hold for 45 mins and then finally called customer service on the other line. The customer service rep apologized and paged the pharmacy twice before they answered. Pharmacist never apologized! Meanwhile, the other line was still on hold and never got answered! Absolutely frustrating!

Great management team, decent prices and always sales, been going here for 20 years now, always a staple choice

Clean buggies available staff are masked and hand sanitizers are located at entrance Staff arefriendly and available to answer questions related to which aisle items are located in. We are in Salmon Arm most Sundays for lunch with family and the Save-on store is our regular place to shop for groceries.

I enjoyed my experience here as the staff were excellent and the prices were on point. Affordable

Save on foods is the most caring and helpful store ever they have great sales and the staff is the greatest of all store save on foods is like my family ever staff member go be on their jobs to make every visit great love this store

Save-on-Foods Fleewtwood pharmacy is absolutely, hands down the best phamacy you could ever wish for. Allister and his team have taken extremely good care of me and my wife's prescriptions, vaccines and overall well being for over 6 years. They are like family now always making themselves availble and giving of their time to discuss concerns and needs.

Parking is an big issue. Will only get worse when all the extra businesses that were built within the parking lot open. Entrance to parking lots are awkward.

Love this store the pharmacy service is wonderful they are so helpful they alert me then med medicine is in and even called to remind me they close early on Sunday, yes the store is smaller then some of the others but they stocked it with alot of the healthier choices and that is what I look for and I don't have to drive all over trying to find what I am looking for, good job Save On Foods

I didn't like the fact that hot wedges were added but the sales girl choose to have me child one from her side. I should have cancelled. Will not go again to buy there.

Whoa. International save on foods. Loads of product from a bunch of European and Asian countries that can only be found in ethnic stores. Amazing!

I've kept a 5 star rating just cause it would be unfair to reduce their score. I am so sad that the South African food section has been reduced to just chutney. This was a staple store for me to get my fix, unfortunately no more.

Great pharmacy, I have been coming for years. Decent wing bar too. Cashiers are always friendly and efficient, I like this place.

Aisle Ways are organized. When you are finished shopping, you stand in a line up and a security guard guides you to a cashier who is ready to take you. It is quick and easy, you are in and out if the store in no time.

Pharmacy team goes over and above. So happy they were able to help me get my daughters Rx from another pharmacy and help us bill our extended health plan. Thank you team!

This is my go-to place for grocery shopping. Even during these COVID times, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The pharmacy staff is top notch.

I bought a ferrero chocolate yesterday, May 17 because it was on sale but I noticed it was already expired (March 22). Why are they allowed to sell expired food?

Went to get rice noodles. Was told that they are preparing, will be ready in 10 mins. Waited 20 mins. Was told exactly same thing afterwards. Not sure if they were even preparing it. Best place to take-out if food is prepared. Employees are very polite, just had a bad experience that’s all.

This store is full of rude and incompetent staff, mostly those that need and should retire because they have such bad attitudes. Management changes are always happening and they never seem to rectify any issues.
The pharmacy is understaffed and I have experienced it making more than a few errors within a year and a half of filling prescriptions there.
No one seems to know anything and do anything when mistakes are made and care to avoid any in the future.

The pharmacist is knowledgeable but uncaring and unprofessional. Obviously all he cares most is the $$$ value vs how the patients really need.

Poor service, out of every thinking. Then when you pay and they're loading you cart they leave food out you've payed for. Very sad.

Every time I shop there I'm treated as if I am going to rob them. I usually have work clothes on.

Went super early in the morning shortly after they opened, I think I'm going to shop here at that time everyday! Store was empty lots of staff on hand and lots of product on the shelves. Really grateful for the great service and helping me find the items that I needed. I love when they actually walk you to where you need to go as opposed to just calling out an asle number. Customer service lady was great at answering all my questions. Highly recommend!

I called the pharmacy to get an emergency supply of my thyroid medication. I spoke to a lady named Margaret and I explained to her that I just need 1 pill for tomorrow morning and I will get my dr to send a prescription for the rest of them. She told me she can't not give me any medication and I need a prescription. She was EXTREMELY rude and did not let me explain my situation. I would definitely avoid dealing with her as she's not even a pharmacist. She's just a tech. She was rude and did not understand what I was telling her. Worst experience.

They have a good selection of goods. My problem is that I pointed out to them that some of their European chocolate was expired by almost a year (this is after I bought a bar and had to return it) and that they should remove it from their shelves. When I went a week later and wanted to buy the chocolate I made sure that checked the date. They never removed the expired chocolate. So I flagged someone down and told them again about it. 2 weeks later they are still there. Now I check the dates on everything I buy there.

I was ordering food / lunch today at the deli isle. Kim, the person who helped me and also the kitchen manager as it said on her name tag. Kim was responsive, professional and when I asked to specifically give me certain picks of chicken, mojos and whatnot, only pushed me to write this review about her and the service that’s being displayed at this location of save on foods. Make sure to stay updated on their different meal promos throughout the week, different deals for every day of the week as well. Thanks again for delicious meal

I rarely provide 5 stars but this supermarket and its management are amazing. Fab store with all the produce and amenities you would ever need, well taken care, hygienic and outstanding customer service. Kudos again to the store's team and management.

I frequented this Save On for years, now living in the area this is my go to store. I enjoy the large selection and it have tons of international products. The staff are super friendly and there are the appropriate safety protocols in place. I feel safe shopping here. The My Deals coupon on the app is always a plus as well. Though some products may be more expensive than other stores, I enjoy just browsing the aisles seeing whats on sale or what new product I can try.

Attentive and nice woman at takeout food counter. Young Punjabi woman i believe. Good service. Also seemed educated about the products and respectable in general. Thanks will be back. Food was good too.

I'm not the biggest fan of this outlet for the reason of the selection of goods. However the staff are doing a great job and I hope the corporation will support the The worker above the level of past experiences

The Pharmacy is Not a good choice anymore as they are just to busy. There is always a line up and it is common that I have to wait up to a week to get a prescription filled. They never follow up with the doctor or call when the prescription has been filled, even though they say they will. The Head pharmacist has been great to me over the last 20 years, but now I feel the quality of service of the entire team and ability to respond to a customer has really gone downhill in the last 2 years. Constant turnover on support staff may be a reason.

I rarely come here, first time since the pandemic began and my immediate observation was that they need to clear space around the entrance to assist distancing, but otherwise no problems.

Lots of things I can’t find anywhere else. Manpreet was my cashier yesterday and she was super friendly. Love this location.

Good selection here today. But the romaine lettuce was very expensive! 6.99 for bag of 3 romaine hearts!

Best place to shop groceries, best prices and savings with more rewards card and they help you with price matching with other stores, so just show the flyer they do right away love all their bakery products very fresh and better taste than safeway, super store, Walmart
