Received very poor service this afternoon when I was picking up my online shopping order. Jay, the person that brought out my order, was quite gruff and rude. When I told him I didn't want my two substituted items (which is standard procedure, if you don't want them they will just take them back into the store and give you a refund), he told me that he didn't know how all that worked and started to walk away. He said he didn't have the information about which items were substituted, when in fact, that information is clearly marked on the order report that he was holding. I recognize this guy, he is definitely not new, so he should know how it works. I got out of my vehicle and pulled out the two items to give back to him. He took them back into the store and grumbled something that I couldn't hear. I didn't feel confident I would receive my refund so I called inside (the lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful) to let them know that I had sent two items back and requested a refund. Not impressed at all with this guy's customer service.

Trying to recycle bottles. We got the store around 7: 58 but the customer service said ‘ it’s closed. ’ without smile. We asked ‘what time you close? The staff said ‘8 o’clock’. Why did they close at 7: 58 while the store still open?

I am a fan of Save on Foods, the quality is always high however the price in some items are also high comparing to Superstore and Walmart. This store is also so clean. Recommended

This store it's worst store in north Vancouver, the staff not friendly & some of them are very rude, I rather go to any save on food's. Except the one in Pemberton plaza.it's very close to my home but the people working in this store, most of them are rude. I talked to supervisor name Greg I told him the price tag it's different when I scanned it, he was unpleasant.
I never gonna shop there again, I spent my money some where else.

I dashed in on the way to work this morning. There were $1.49 specials. I grabbed tomatoes on the vine that were stickered a particular number which came up as arugula. When I told Customer Service, the lady, who had to be called by a colleague in the wine department, as she was chatting to the colleague in "flowers", made me feel like a fool, saying there must be something wrong with my eyes as it should be another number. The difference was a 6 rather than an 8 and I asked her if it was my eyes. I think she needs a refresher course on Customer Service. Perhaps she was upset that she was called by a colleague as her back was to the Customer. However, belittling a customer is not best practice!

Helpful staff, clean store and way better stock than the other SaveOn across the street. Prices are better than IGA or WholeFoods, especially if you’re shopping the sales, but still gougy in many cases and price hikes reach miles beyond inflation. Shopping at the local produce markets is a way better deal.

Save-On has some great benefits to it's competitors in the area. While the cost are up there they look clean and their fresh food areas look so fresh and vibrant. Along with carrying variety of products that come from different parts of the world. So while you might be paying more for items you will find the things you are looking for and at a high quality.

Please fix this. Every time I put my bag at check out it will not allow me to scan and proceed. Keeps say remove bag. Very frustrating when there is no staff around to assist.

Mary. Had a late last minute shopping the other day andMary was there very meticulously checking everything.even putting elastic band on the egg basket and my blueberries. Never had this kind of service before from Save On. She also made sure to ask for my rewards card (other Persian rep - forgot his name.was so rude in the past about this … you forget, sorry your fault basically). But Mary was very thorough, polite and friendly

Considering the challenges many are facing they keep their shelves pretty stocked up and store is clean. The staff I interacted with were very helpful and polite.

Don't bother ordering groceries from here. They are out of half of everything every time. You'll pay the delivery charge and then have to go shopping again anyways. Rubbish.

I arrived at Save On the other night at 8: 02 and the Pharmacist, Anne Sison was so nice to unlock medication shelves that had already been locked up so that I could purchase some pain relief. Anne was ready to leave as the Pharmacy was already closed, but she didn't hesitate to stay and help me with my purchase all while being so friendly, professional and happy to help! This location is "my" store and I am always greeted by friendly staff like Myrna who always have a warm smile on their face and always without fail greet me by name! Thank you so much for going the extra mile!

Got some very good steaks here. However they must stop charging for bags and start helping to pack bags. We should not have to pack our own bags. Whatever happened to customer service when you're buying from a business.

I don't like shopping but this Save on Is pretty decent. Good pharmacy, friendly deli people and it's clean and fresh.

Massive grocery store but save on is always so overpriced. Only went because it's close to home.

This is my favorite Save on Foods. The customer service ladies are so nice (Jonie) is one Lady, But the other Ladies are very courteous also. The Self checkout is great there are so many to choose from. And the Ladies help you out here also if you need help? Dulcie is a very nice person at the self checkout.actually all the Employees are so courteous.from the bakery and deli meats. They ask you if you need help with anything? I was looking for a perticular muffin, the lady went in the back bakery and made me up a package of muffins and some buns. Great selection of Everything. Parking.free shopping carts, The older taller guy is always disinfecting the shopping carts and hand carrier type also. He is always hustling around, going and getting all the shopping carts around the parking lots. (There is one washroom for customers to use.) if i cant find something in the store that i, m looking for? I ask a personal shopper there all around in the store, The Personal shoppers, They dont mind letting you know. I guess its on top of there head and in there minds already, where everything is located. I always find my speciality items here what ever i, m looking for? Thanks to all the Save on foods Team. I, ve always had good shopping experiance here at your location.

I shop here every Sunday Morning, the staff is always friendly. One thing they need to fix is the new way they order their stock, it seems things are not being ordered and have run completely out. Overall a good experience

For many years save on food has the best customer service but today im so disappointed case worker was very impolite and she didnt hear me I highly recommend to management of this store do something isnot good for their reputation i gave them one star case first is customer service

I had the worst kinda experience in this place today
I’ve asked the lady in customer service for a mask for a customer who was at the door and forgot his masks
(I had my own masks on)
The lady’s behaviour was far from respect or not even normal
Even after she saw the mask-less man she didn’t bother herself to say sorry I treated you like a “free mask grabber…”

I love Save-On. Always have everything I need (except Diet Snapple recently, which is a huge bummer) and this store is fairly easy to navigate. Parking is always good too. The reward system is a huge plus if you're wanting to save cash on some basic weekly foods, especially when they put the giant box of chicken breasts on sale (normally $35, usually on sale for $26). Gotta feed my muscles, ya know.

Lots of parking in its own lot. Big, bright and clean with everything under one roof. You can even pick up a bottle of wine at this location. The aisles are wide and well organized. Not that busy during the day and lots of cash registers as well as self checkout.

They are clean, good prices (specially on meat and chicken), have choices such as chicken without antibiotics and so on.delicious pastries and cakes and friendly staff

Great store that sells BC wine! Please let us use the self service tills if we do have wine though!

I always get what I need. And the sandwiches are to kill for. Take it from a carpenter on the road day in day out. I love their prices too. Thank you for great service save on.

I always have a great experience when I deal with their pharmacy staff. They are knowledgeable, they make sure that I understand how to take my meds, and why. I went in on Tuesday, and I realized that I would be taking up time to get a 2nd shot for a non-Covid shot from people that wanted to get their 1st one. I asked if I could put it off for a while, and was told that I could wait for my booster shot until I get my 2nd COVID-19 shot in July. And that felt good, because I want to see everyone who wants to be vaccinated, get vaccinated.

I have always felt this Save On to be consistently clean, well stocked and easy to shop at.

This location sells BC wine so if you're running late, you can grab your groceries, wine and flowers here. The produce is slightly more than some other stores but it provides a nice shopping experience and parking is good.

This complex has a TD bank and Starbucks. There are other shops as well but I don't remember their names.

There are self check out stations as well as traditional cashier stations. I always prefer a cashier station myself.

There is a decent selection for seafood, meats and poultry. They carry different offerings for dairy, Fairlife ultra filtered milk, Dairyland, Olympic, Oikos, Liberte.

Off peak hours shopping is the best time to shop.

Save On Foods now has Las Margaritas salsa! Find it (only slightly hidden) at the end of the second fruit stand!

Purchased a fire log from them this past week. At a low cost of $5, it provided me and my friends with four hours of burning and facilitated an evening at the beach as the result.

Have not been to Save on Foods for quite some time. I was surprised to see the wine section.very handy.

Been shopping here for almost 20 years but their prices have gone up and they are not nearly as competitive as Wall Mart - 4 blocks further east.

Support Jimmy, next time you need a emergency ward at a hospital, a local east Vancouver boy built a great private company and help pay for it. I don't mind giving my money to him who employes, pays taxes and gives back to community, Stanley park restoration and hospitals renovations and much more, if your going to give your cash to a corporation better his than Walmart shipping your cash to the USA. When was the last time you remember a Walmart or another US corp paying to upgrade a emergency dept in your local hospital, next time your lying on you back being greatful to be fixed up think who payed for that bed keeping u warm. For health reasons, we only do our shopping on line and have been getting our groceries delivered to our doorstep at least once a week, and to our complete satisfaction. Lately, however, there have been regular errors in our orders, like wrong/smaller size pack delivered, but charged price of larger pack.
We complained.
Managers Alwin (?) and Dan immediately investigated and efficiently
rectified the problems and gave us due cash credits, and even followed up to ensure we were completely happy and satisfied! Wonderful.
Well done, Save-On-Foods. Guess what?

So I went to grab a turkey cranberry sandwich from the cooler, but there weren’t any.
They had some in the deli section so I asked “Elena” for one. She motioned with her hand towards the self serve cooler, “why you not get one over there”?
I said there are none, “why am I bothering you”?
She now motioned again with her hand at the empty spaces that she was working at filling and said “yes”!
I said are you kidding me and walked away, without the sandwich.
Unbelievable. So I spoke with the manager.

This is definitely my least favorite Save On in North Van. People working in the deli are wearing their masks under their chins. What exactly is the point of that? The lineups for checkout are quite long. Much prefer the Save On by Cap Mall or Brooksbank.

Great store with everything I needed. The cashier was nice enough to scan a card that gave me a discount on my groceries which was really cool. A great first experience at the store! Also good to note that this chain accepts More rewards.

Good location with the town's largest mall, liquor store and Canadian Tire. It's a full service outlet with deli, butcher, produce and a large bulk food department. The floral offerings are limited but I really like the pharmacy.

Expensive grocery store but good quality of meats and delis. This is my favourite spot to buy red meat

Grocery Shopping with Save-On since I was a wee lad. Glad the app for extra points and deals is more streamlined now.

Nice store with one isle dedicated for a selection of wines. Also 8 self checkout terminals, and decent number of std checkouts

Good bulk food section new wines available in the store Friendly service staff prices are a little high

Best place for groceries at reasonable prices. Fresh produce also a good but not the very top quality/price. Pharmacy and BC wines also excellent cost/selection.

Great prices great service highly recommend the chicken pies in the Deli and you buy 3 you get one free kids love them

I don’t normally shop at Save on foods however i will now. The staff at their Pemberton location in North Vancouver were more than I could of imagined in providing amazing service. Everyone was so helpful. Good work save on.

Had a horrible experience I was shopping with my nephews one had wonder off and The one that stayed said the other was looking for me so I went looking I put back my energy drink because I wasn’t feeling good the security Accused Of me stealing! He literally pulled me by the bag and tried to open it then he looked in my shirt before even asking! Everyone was looking it was so embarrassing and rude ‍️ I even showed him but didn’t even look never going back be careful if you go there js

The cashiers were so slow. A huge lineup was building while we had to wait for the cashier to put my birthday in. She wasn’t able to calculate and didn’t know how to put the purchase into the system.

My usual late night grocery shopping spot.
Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Nori at the deli department who offered me a taste of their new natural preservative-free cold cuts. Nori was so knowledgeable and helpful. She patiently helped me sample a variety of the meats and we had a great conversation. If it wasn't for her impeccable customer service skills I would not have given the 5th star as I shop late night and no one has any energy left to "serve you right". I so appreciated her enthusiasm and energy.
And not to forget, really enjoying the new line of Save-On's natural preservative-free cold cuts - I personally like the smoked chicken and turkey best but the rosemary ham was really good too (a lot saltier than the poultry variety). This is a very organized and clean store.

Pretty good, but it's hit or miss with products,
Customer service&flyer item availability. This trip; personable wine sampler, helpful friendly cashiers, very helpful bakery clerk, but bottle return Lotto lady"not so much" disorganized.

Excellent take out at the deli, especially the beef brisket. They also have great natural foods and gluten free sections
