The cashier put our groceries into a plastic bag without asking and we said we don't need plastic bag, then she was mad and dump our onion and grapes out of the plastic bag and threw the plastic bag away and said, "it's now in the garage bag. " then I said, "we are just trying to be environmental friendly". Then she walked away to help someone else on the self checkout and even the guests were gone, she was still "fixing" the machine but we just need to get the receipt then we could go but she kept us waiting for extra time by doing something that's not urgent at all. There's no other customer waiting for the machines.

Save-on-more franchises need to stop pretending they aren't one of the worst deals going. Everything is 1-2$ more at this store than competitors.

Quite bad lineups and wait times now that they've let go of many cashier positions. Waited 20mins to buy a single loaf of bread, hope they can sort this out.

Generally, prices are slightly above whole foods, making it one of the most expensive grocery stores in BC. Recommendation to avoid.

The staff are wonderful at this store, with the exception of the bakery at times. They need to put out more potato buttermilk bread as it always sells out and it's the best! Yet, they don't even at multiple customer suggestion (I was there when another customer was suggesting the same thing.)

LOVE ️ the staff here; live right around the corner so it's my regular store, very comfortable and homey, only complaint is RIDICULOUS Save-On prices! THAT, however, is set by the chain. Their local specials can be pretty good. Gotta have a More Rewards card though- just ask for one.

Despite being a smaller location it seems to have a fairly complete selection and they appear to be doing a good job of stocking the shelves. The staff are friendly and there is free underground parking while you shop.

Located right beside RCH, lots of free parking underground. There's lots of selections. The deli has the best price compared to other grocery stores.

Decent size grocery store. Pretty much got everything a bigger grocery store would have. Well managed and clean. Friendly and efficient service.

Lynn is by far the sweetest most gentle cashier I've ever met who ever said Lynn almost attacked them I highly doubt it as I've gone to this store for years Lynn and tanya go above and beyond to the point I consider them friends im appalled that anyone would say Lynn is rude shes straight up the biggest sweetheart I've ever met super nice lady so people should get their facts straights this store everyone from security to management has been more then fair I love this store and I will be shopping here for many years

This store's floor plan was well laid out and very spacious. The food was mostly well stocked considering the trucks are stuck at the border. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I lost my ear bud there so i called them yesterday and they couldn't find any and the gps says it's still there so i told them i'll call tomorrow again if they could find in the morning.i call them today and i explained what happened to the lady on the phone she was extremely rude said, "no we don't have something like that okay? Bye. " she could've said nice way.i understand if they couldn't find it, it's my fault that i lost it but she didn't have to be that rude.

Save-on pharmacy has raised their dispensing fee for prescription drugs from four dollars to nine dollars per item Costco charges four dollars in contrast. Stick it Darryl, you tool. From a genuine SAVER

[Updated 1 year later] Staff are unprofessional. Deliveries from this store are often inconsistent, and managers are unable to explain how issues with products or deliveries happened or fix them in the future. Delivery drivers have been very good though.

Many issues with management, Paula, Jason, and Sam, with regard to deliveries that did not happen. Often incorrectly processed payments and miscommunication caused delays and overages on my cards. Although the issues were resolved, they often took days. This was sometimes a huge issue as medical reasons required me to have someone present to assist me.

This is an okay store to shop in-store, but doesn't seem to be able to handle a high volume of customers, or deliveries.

I'd like to see this store step up, and be a better part of the community they live and work in.

Bananas are always green.my biggest complaint is I'm constantly charged for plastic bags I didn't ask for. Your cashiers seem to be on autopilot. "Want a bag? " "No". Here's one anyway, and it'll cost you.

You lost two stars for this. Don't even offer a bag, make the customer ask for one. Also, what happened to paper bags?

This location is poorly managed. Items are often not in stock, and those that are teeter on the edge of spoiling. The manager, Paula, at this location likes to blame customers for the issues she is unable to fix. A manager with some pride in the quality of the food, and quality of customer service would help to bring this location up to the standard of other Save-On Foods.

Can’t complain about this location. It’s not too big so finding your way to the proper aisle is easy. There is underground parking and parking at the side of the building. There aren’t too many people around this area so parking isn’t hard to find. Staff are nice and a few are chatty.

I like this location of Save on. Small and warmly. But I found there don't have as many items as some of locations.

I usually never leave a review. However, I do feel the need to this time around. This location is USUALLY the best. 99 out of 100 cashiers are AMAZING. That said, there is always that one that just stands out for all the wrong reasons. Isabelli - She always has a bad attitude, very rude, very careless, and gives this place a bad name. Clean up your attitude and your work ethic, you will go further in life if you do.

I just dont understand how most times the vegetables are gross went to buy carrots and they are slimey, savoy cabbage was mouldy. Said to the veggie guy why is this out here says sorry that's all we got!
So went to another veggie store and got great produce. I think with the auto wet sprayers the veggies get soaked and they rot on the shelves, never again!

I was shocked to see they weren't too busy 2 days before Xmas. Safeway (@McBride) was a gong show.

Since moving to the neighboring apartment building back in November 2020, this Save-On-Foods has become our neighborhood grocery store.
I’m not exaggerating when I say this, every single time we’ve purchased meat (chicken, seafood, steak, etc), it has been beyond fresh/perfect each time.
The rubs they have for their meats are loaded with flavor and the texture/quality of the meat is always as perfect as it gets.
Very thankful to be able to live across from a store that contains fresh produce and meats.
The entire floor staff is always friendly, kind and caring every time I go to check out.

Good store for the basics, but not a great place to find specialty items or things that are more unique. I also find it pricey unless you're sale shopping or just picking up a few things. That being said, very conveniently located as part of the Brewery District and the produce is always fresh.

Went in just to grab coffee to go, coffee in canisters was lukewarm (found out too late) no sugar, stir-sticks available (had to ask deli Dept). Oddly cups & tops were available - take as many as you need. We weren't only ppl grabbing coffee, two cops walked in ahead of us. I know coffee isn't your big draw (might be if was decent) & in two hours I was in area I saw lots of ppl w coffee - obviously NOT from Save-On! Such a shame cuz. Are all Save-On coffee areas this BAD? !? !

So nice in comparison to other grocery stores, even other Save On Foods seem dank and dirty side by side.

Accessible grocery store o supermarket: fresh vegetables, fruits, and everything that you need at home

Very friendly staff and regularly well-stocked shelves and produce. I go here on a regular basis and while it used to get quite busy during peak hours, they seem to be scheduling better to avoid this issue.

Every single time I go there I have a terrible experience with a staff. Most of their staff aren't trained well and are quite rude and unprofessional, except one of the supervisor Alan and a brown guy that usually is working in the meat section. Today I encountered one of their worst employees, an old, and highly aggressive and out of touch person by the name Lynn that almost physically attacked me because I was on the phone. This place should be on Guinness world record for rude and unprofessional employees and today Lynn took it to another level which I call plain aggression and madness.

Lady reluctant to walk all the way to meat area to do price check. Isn't that her job? Sale tag was placed wrong and I saw her changing to the correct area as I walked back and told her. She claims that customers places tag everywhere *_* that would be the last time I go to this location

Wow! The staff here qo above & beyond the call of duty to satisfy your every need. Way to go staff.

You can NOT park her unless you have a meager crated card. No credit card your not aloud to be her and your car will be towed. Not a safe place to be and unwelcome. Rude people. Don't care.

Bad experience today, just was picking some Haloween Lindt chocolate up and was writing the code.which was discounted after Haloween season, some body came to me and said it's not right price and front of me took the pricetag off and said should be $2.99 per lb. Instead of. 99€
And I know it's not right when price is there you cant change it from customer it's store fault anyways without say sorry or supporting customer.
Second when I came to the cash area she followed me and opened another cash st and said I can help you but when asked me for my reward card I said my phone number she said it wrong can't find it!
I found my card and she saw it and said it's too old card is it yours? Should all customers answer that type of questions!
When she scan some other Kinder Eggchocolates she asked me werent they in the package! What it means i opened the pack of chocolate and took some from the box?
it's such a poor customer service form a popular supermarket like that I felt too uncomfortable several times in one visit.
, I asked her name at the end and she said Tania, anyways not a really good happy shopping for me. Never back again!

These are my experiences: #1 Worst - Cashier argued with and shamed me for returning an item. #2 (Today) - Cashier told me he hates scanning my type of item and was generally unpleasant. #1 Best - Meat dept.guy tied with Deli counter guy.

Store conditions:
- never stocked (produce, dairy alternatives, you name it)
- stocks expired items (or rotten produce)
- brand new end of cashier displays with absolutely nothing I want in them.
- dirty (today: banana peel, other random litter)
- 1/7 tills staffed, with 14 people in line (regular thing here, daily)

Definitely do not go here if you have the option, as any other store has better quality products and services. I would suggest the New West station Safeway.

Decent selection. Produce and prices are typical. Lineups have gotten better, they used to be horrendous. Parking is free for 1 hr, BUT HEAVEN HELP YOU if you park for more.

Love this place for all their great menu ideas. The staff is lovely and helpful. Good selection of frozen foods and deserts. Prices are also very reasonable.

Shout out to lolly for being in a great mood and actually taking the time to bag my groceries instead of having me do it! Shes the real MVP!

This is the worst save on foods. The employees are the rudest I have ever encountered. I think they all need training on a personality and on how to treat customers. Also be sure to watch the food products as everything is always way past the expiry date. No employees there seem to care when you tell them and they have a could careless attitude. Poorly managed store.

It's a community store, where you feel you can still connect with the neighborhood as it isn't really big. Just perfect with the essentials. The staff are friendly, it's always well stocked on deal items. ALL Save on foods sit at a higher price point but you get what you pay for, the store is clean and the quality it good. Occasionally there is a line, but nothing as bad as other supermarkets

It has the necessities, competitive prices on most items, and is open until 11: 00 PM. As a nighttime shopper I really appreciate this.

They bring great quality goods. I love that Most foods are local like the produce. Canadian veggies versus China veggies. That's why the produce is more. Staffs are 5 star service as well.

I tried the home delivery option from this location and it was ok. The website doesn't differentiate what is actually in stock and what isn't. Therefore there were a couple items I didn't get because it was not in stock, and another couple items that the store substituted and were much more expensive than what I had originally picked. They did deliver on a snow day so it was nice.

Staffs are friendly and fast. The bakery section could use better cleaning since I notice flies here and there inside the self serve bins from time to time.

I must say that I am getting more and more disappointed with this store (Fleetwood). Started out as one of my favorite grocery stores as PriceSmart. Changed over to SaveOn (same company) all is still good. They change the store by turning it into an "International" SaveOn. Great! But then they changed the store around, hard to find items that were always in the same place. No sweat, things change I think to myself. But then a few weeks later, another refit, and then another, and another, and another. It's gotten to the point that if you ask a staff member for help finding something they tell you that the store carry's it but they can't find it right now. Time to find a new place to shop.

Interesting use of soup cans but if it ain't broke don't fix it. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Ample underground parking
