How could a customer be comfortable shopping when feeling to go for no. 2?

Customer parking underground. A bit of an awkward layout but it's one of the newest Save on foods in Vancouver. The self checkout didn't take my more rewards card.which has never happened before at other stores. It's the card barcode but the staff said that the machine uses the app barcode. Which is their advertised NEW app I haven't set up yet. I used to have the old save on app. So I HAD to gather my 4 items and RE LINE UP in the regular non-express non-self check line to see the cashier to check out my 4 items.very inconvenient.

Pharmacy has tons of natural health products.

Prices are a bit high for florals and decor.

Lottery had a Cash Only sign on it?

I was really impressed by the meat section. Wonderful display of skewers.

Didn't see any SOF staff members while shopping. Didn't see customer service in particular.

Side note: someone incredibly rude put a whole submarine sandwich with ham filling in the cereal area. All smashed and open. People need to be respectful and responsible and not create messes for the employee and society.

Food available at Fair prices. Not a boutique but you car find what s useful to prepare a good italian pasta with sugo or ragout.

One of the most over priced grocers in the city. Not great selection. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

I was a little disappointed about the fact that you were out of most of the things I was looking for but otherwise the service was good the delivery driver was very kind and incredibly polite and very courteous it was very fast

I've been shopping here a long time and leave alot of money in this store.
I've recently decided I'll take my hundreds of dollars weekly elsewhere. Staff for the most part just don't care. They seem perfectly happy to watch you stand there and wait. At the deli counter or at the customer service counter. The registers are always understaffed, no matter how busy it is. If you go to the self service registers then chances are there'll be one or 2 out of order or there'll be people waiting for staff to assist with some error on it.
I asked a staff member one day if they had a product in storage as the shelf was empty. He went to check, and I got bored waiting. I found the staff member back on the other side of the shop joking with other staff. I approached and asked about the product again. He mumbled they didn't have it!
The hot food counter isn't great either.
If customer service was good and the place was run a little better, it would go a long long way.
I don't find the convenience of location weighs out the grief of shopping there

Awful. One cashier, 6 people in a line and another 6 at self checkout. Store does not have enough staff. And don't expect to get any assistance at customer service. Never staffed. No one to ask a question.

Steve noticed me looking at my receipt outside, asked if there was a mistake, and volunteered to fix it for me all in about a minute, even though his shift had ended - was very kind

Horrible service. 500 students cutting in line waiting 15 min before i walked out never to return

This is absolutely unbelievable - even after 11 months since I left my review - nothing has changed! They still have only paper bags without handles! How much they need to disrespect to the customers and hate their customers who come there to buy?: providing paper bags WITHOUT handles - how can we carry more than one bag per person? So appalling that they don't provide proper bags- the answer we got from the manager - that it's what they get from headquarters. When we asked if they complained to the HQ - the answer was NO. Product choice is so poor! Particularly of organic food! Stores in the third world countries are stocked better! Shame on this store! Prices are high. Stay away from this store!

By far the most impressive and largest Save On I've ever been too. Makes sense since it's in a beautiful neighborhood. Staff are friendly and service is always nice and snappy.

I've always found prices a little higher than elsewhere, usually only shop as a last resort even though it is the closest supermarket to me.

Was running late, needed a cake last minute employee named Jay went out of his way, got me a supervisor and managed to help me last minute. Supervisor named Paul was the one who got me the cake. Amazing staff that will go out of their way to help you out. Hope management sees this and gives these guys some praise.
