Save-On-Foods

This Review is not about the store BUT about the safety of their employees. Please tell me why, it's O. K.to send out your staff to deliver groceries in the Okanagan Valley in Winter, in a 2 WHEEL DRIVE van? How are they to stay Safe no matter where the delivery goes.
Shame on you Save On. Shame on you!

We will never shop there again. We bought groceries and 5 packs of cigars and paid for them at the customer service desk. I even gave the young girl working there an empty pack of the cigars so she knew what ones they are. She showed me 1 of the packs and I said "yes those are them, I'll take 5 packs" She bagged my stuff and I went home. When I got home I noticed she put 2 of the wrong packs of cigars in the bag. I took them down there and was rudely told that I should have noticed them before leaving the store because they were shorter and since I left the store they won't exchange them for the ones I paid for (which were more expensive than the ones they gave me) I had my receipt showing they charged me for the tipped ones!
The lady said I would have to come back another time and talk to a manager. I know the lady is in charge of ordering the cigars. She isn't some young kid like most of the people working there.
So now I am out approx $40 for THEIR screw up.
Living in the Upper Mission we always went to this store but never again!

It's like any other Save On you pay slightly more for considerably better produce and meats. Do look put for their sales as they are often well worth an added stop if you normally shop elsewhere.

Recently needed a cake done. I live in south Kelowna and Save On Foods lakeshore was the closest place with their image printer working.
The bakery manager provided excellent service and the cake came out perfect! So happy.

I somehow like it here, can find different products but it is expensive. You will need to pay like 1 to 3 more dollars for products compared to old prices of a month ago or so.

Today was a prime example of why not, with extremely poor customer service (oxymoron) from a very disgruntled, unhelpful attendant

I’m in love with there deli made, ready to BBQ stuffed chicken breasts! If u want something yummy and easy to throw on the bbq, definitely pick some up with matching stuffed potatoes!

Even though I can get more groceries for less at other locations, this store has everything I need, is always clean and well organized and the staff are great. I just like it better than the rest.

Hi see Darrel is back on tv in middle of news at 5 pm bragging about low prices at save on foods well today strawberries are $2 cheaper at Urban Fare — Blueberries $1 cheaper same size, just 2 of MANY items
As I suggested before they took my comments off their site if instead of paying to have Darrel’s picture on t v what about using the money and lowering some prices in store plus we wouldn’t have to wear our fingers out turning the channel every time his picture is shown when trying to listen to latest news.
