I dislike this place for so many reasons. I'll dig in to one single point. Why do you have signs above the isles with missing information? Coming from the front of the store I can see where canned goods are located on the sign in the isle. From the back of the store you cannot see this information but instead have void spots on the sign where this information could be listed. WHY?

Very good meat, especially when it's on sale. It's as good as what you would buy at a butcher.

Everyone in the store is friendly and the pharmacist is the best I’ve ever seen - smart and kind! My mom has been lucky to have him as her pharmacist for many years and she both likes and respects him. Going to pick up meds has always been a pleasure for her.

If I could, I would give them a lower score, however this is only based on the bakery and the deli. The highest prices of any grocery store, and the least amount of quantity for the price.
Just look at these burnt crumbled smashed up Granny Smith apple pies what an embarrassment, I would never put these out for sale. Speaking of sale, coincidentally Granny Smith apples were the only ones on sale, the other flavours were regular price. Hmmm I wonder why? ? Haha
I would’ve just saved myself the embarrassment and just thrown these pies away.
Bad business.

Upon returning 8 days ago, it’s good to see that the prices didn’t disappoint and are still through the roof and the pies are burnt, smashed, and crumbled. Here are a few new photos.

This Save-On-Foods have authentic collection of materials including Asian goods. Convenient location, friendly staff and free parking.

Priced reasonably and a fresh produce available year round provides its local community with Amenities all year around. It’s located at main bus roads so is easily accessible as well. If you are a new comer in Victoria a visit to save on will provide you with options regarding your grocery shopping. Don’t forget to check the fliers for discounts. Happy shopping folks.

Worst grocer in town. Pushy staff unwilling to let you use the manager savings card. Terrible service. Unhappy employees. Expensive middle of the road groceries. Avoid.drive further or pay extra you'll be happy you did

They are often out of product. The worst was after Christmas when they had no meats, no lettuce, & lots more. Country Grocer was well stocked on the same day.

I don't normally shop at save on-however today my expectations were exceeded. I popped in quickly to buy an advent calendar and the whole display of individual chocolates came crashing down on me. Immediately the manager (I think) came to my rescue. Thank goodness because all I could think of was how I DID NOT want to be here putting the display back. I decided to quickly do an impulse shop and by the end I was running late. I guess it was obvious I was in a hurry and a new checkout was promptly opened up for me. Today I had a 'wow experience. ' Thank you for taking the time to help me today-twice. An experience I've never had at the past in save on foods.

Produce is garbage and overpriced. Nuts and seeds in bulk section are consistently past their prime or of poor quality. Meats are subpar compared to other chains yet cost the same or more. Their prices are WAY over what inflation is. Any perishables that ever go on sale are rotten or just bad. They are always out of something on your list. They use deceptive pricing to trick you into thinking you're getting a deal when you're not. Employees are very nice and helpful. Unless you enjoy throwing money and perishables in the garbage, go somewhere else.
