Great store. Clean and bright with excellent specials. Staff always friendly and very helpful. And their prices have NOT gone up!
Have been a happy customer since they first opened.

The Save on Foods near my house. So I shop here.

Everything I want and need. Great staff!

Good shopping great selection. Preferable over Safeway as when you Google save on they have paid for the ads pace so if you don't look closely you may end up at Safeway. Still prefer this location as if u forget your card they use the store card to discount you. Saved me 4 bucks on a 20 dollar purchase

Manager on duty Sunday November 6 at 4pm needs to be shook. Check out lineup going past the bakery and there is two clerks at checkout.

Lots of staff stocking shelves, even giving out samples. After about 15 mins they put one more person on checkout. Lineup going into the dairy section by then.

Whoever was the manger at that time is obviously getting a bit too loose.

Not coming back.

This location has amazing staff that seem to know when you need help and offer it. Great selection and a clean organized store. Great management that's eager to please makes all the difference.

Smaller store but still a great selection and very helpful staff members. My go to location now

Don’t go they’re when they open. Very grumpy, not enough cashiers and tge ones that are on tills are not helpful. I only asked for a box so I can carry 75 little orange juices out to my car. Well, that is way too much to ask: (I was told bully the cashier on till 1 today that: We have no boxes! Not going there anymore.

Overall pretty regular grocery, usually go for snacks and such. Rarely I will visit the deli and get some, one of the gentlemen is quite kind and very helpful with what I needed! I believe his name was Ethan. 10/10 for his hard work.

Why are was there only one cashier open at 1700 hours, probably the busiest time of the day? Plus.no cash accepted at the self checkout? Why?

Great location with lots of friendly staff and well stocked shelves. Produce is always good and the store is well organized and well maintained.

You can tell from walking through the door that this is a clean establishment. Staff were super friendly. The single line to get to all cash registers seems like a good idea, however it was blocking some of the aisles to the pharmacy. I don't know if there is a better solution? !?

Still the worst store ever. Their covid social distancing rules make it more risky for people to shop! It is the most frustrating place to shop in Walnut Grove

Whenever I can't find what I need the staff are ready and willing to help
And if they don't have something in stock the customer service desk is more than willing to write a raincheck

Very reliable store love their bakery, deli and meat sections all is fresh very friendly staff always willing to help.

Don't buy fruits at this store. Over priced and over ripe For example 5 small Nectarines 8 bucks! 4 Apricots 4 bucks. Really? Done with this store. Will be buying produce locally.from now on.

The bakery was selling 2 and 3 day old buns, bread.
Not liking it there so much anymore.

I want to start off by saying this review is completely unrelated to the customer service or the team at this location (they are both excellent) this review is based on this store needing a serious upgrade. This area is booming and this location has to be one of the least modern save on foods locations in the area. They could do so much more with this location with a little upgrade! Even consider bringing their high line store like Urban Fair.

I agree with Scott on his assessment of this store, the Staff and Availability of items are both Exellent, no complaints here. However, It's almost always crowded and awkward navigating the aisles, let alone squeezing by the checkout lines. The store is in desperate need of an upgrade or replacement to better serve the WG community that's doubled in population since this store was first built in the 1990's.

For some reason, they are unable to stock enough texas toast white to meet the demand.almost like they just don't want you to have it

Friendly staff. Online pickup is a bit inconsistent - I've received some rotten vegetables like potatoes, but got them refunded. Store is a little small compared to other Save-on's. But I will be back.

Russell at till #1 today was absolutely exceptional! He was so quick with packing up our groceries and had such an incredibly positive attitude! Definitely look forward to going through his till next time we shop here!

Walnut Grove Save On is great. The store is clean, bright and well-stocked. The staff are excellent. Always friendly and helpful. Good prices.

I love this place.unfortunately they price part of their meat department in kilos and the speciality part in pounds. No way to compare. It's an issue for me. I don't understand why they can't price the specialty case in pounds and kilos. I'm waiting to hear from them.a second time.may have to look for another place to shop.

I was in Save-On Foods in Walnut Grove, Langley, B. C today and around 2: 30pm I was going through the checkout. They had put black tape on the ground to enforce social distancing and a sign that said please wait to come forward to the debit machine until you’re ready to pay, further encouraging social distancing - all of which I am happy to do.
A woman at the next till was trying to approach the cashier, but the cashier asked her to wait 6ft back and that she would let her know when to come forward. The customer got angry, was being rude and almost mocking the cashier for what she was asking her to do. I didn’t hear every word but I heard her say something about being ready for a fight. She then got even more angry, ripped her membership card out of the cashiers hand, pushed her buggy of food through the till, push it so it hit the customer service desk, and stormed off.
Through all of this, her cashier, Rhonda, was calm, respectful, and patient.
Rhonda, I’m sorry that all customers aren’t level-headed and empathetic during this scary time, but thank you for having humility and grace.
I am very impressed with Save-On, Walnut Grove, and specifically how they’re handling the store during this scary time, and how they’re employees are dealing with customers.

I would have liked to give more stars but there's a few too many negatives for me. First, the positives: staff is usually friendly and helpful, convenient location, and good sales and app offers. Being able to earn and redeem save on points is also a big plus. On the other hand, this store just isn't big enough anymore to handle the volume of customers. During busy times it is so difficult to get around the store with awkward displays everywhere, and merchandise placed in inconvenient locations. It's like running a gauntlet. Then there's the issue of advertised items being out of stock which is really frustrating. Maybe placing purchasing limits would help. Overall, I don't enjoy shopping here like I used to. As a result, I go elsewhere quite often.

I went into this store with my mother who lives in Walnut Grove. She is 85 years. The manager, Randy Nerling was so helpful. She wanted to order flowers for her friend in Edmonton. He took the time, during a very busy period, and walked her through the order. He was patient and kind and very focused on her as a customer. I would say that this store responds to all kinds of customers with patience and kindness.

I like the ribs from the deli and it is a good place for sales on higher priced stuff if you watch for them

I have been stuck with this grocery store in my area for decades. They have the worst customer service. Even the manager doesn't greet you when you come in. If you are looking for something in the bakery, just go elsewhere. They do not care if you are looking for a particular design on a cake. No interest whatsoever and that goes with the rest of the store as well. The vegetables are always tired, they sell stale-dated bread which is often moldy and it smells of rats in the bulk area. Worst Save-On I have ever been to. I shop elsewhere every chance I get.

Friendly employees Small isles. And staff is always leaving boxes and buggies ever where. Inconvenient for the older customers

If only they are up to speed in delivery. They have good prices. But I do wish the would take out the wine. I dont want my kids exposed to how easy it is too but at Save On.good people working there, the do make a difference

Very clean and easy to shop. The overall prices are high but it's totally worth it to shop the sale items. The location in Walnut Grove has Tesco items

I order my groceries online here every week. Great selection, everything fresh and impeccably clean. Love the produce here and everything is well displayed. Lots is people to help and tons of parking. Wheelchair accessible

Too expensive for me! Have to really check the sale items as they are not really a sale. Darrel needs to go on a diet. He is a turn off for Save on foods

I've never been a fan of Save On but because it's the closest to my home I sometimes have no choice. Whenever I try to find in store baked bread, it's always a day old or older. This morning at 9 am I asked to get a loaf of bread baked TODAY. The clerk said they had not baked anything fresh yet. I was a Bakery Manager for 10 years in a LOEB store in Ontario and ALWAYS had fresh bread and rolls every morning out on the shelves at 8 AM. We had to reduce prices when anything was a day old or more. I find it absolutely ridiculous that an IN STORE bakery NEVER has any fresh bread. I will never return to your store again. I will go the extra mile to buy elsewhere. You should not be calling it an in store bakery. Your so called fresh bread is no fresher than frozen or commercial bread and rolls.

The staff at this location are friendly and helpful. They have a lot of great selections throughout the store.
