The most expensive grocery store in town. Having lived recently in Nanaimo and shopped at the Save-On-Foods in that town I can tell you with confidence that there is an additional 20%+ mark up on most of the items in the Powell River store. We are already involved in a food crisis and this location takes things a step further to gouge their customers for every possible cent they can. I hope you can sleep peacefully at night. Because soon there will be riots due to starvation, and your store, and every cent you have made off the backs of hardworking people will mean nothing when you and your families bear witness the anarchy that is soon on its way.

Bulk section is my absolute favorite! Finding chia seeds is a nightmare. It's never in the same spot.

Great deals, especially if you have a store card to accumulate points and use wisely for redeeming! Be careful what you use your points on though. When something is on special the point to sale ratio is not worth it. I've found that their peppers (Green especially) seem to be not the freshest for the last few month
