Generally like save on foods but this store seems to not be able to afford more than 1 cashier working at a time, very sad for a place owned by the ultra rich: (

Lovely produce, great bakery, well depts and pretty good. The store is clean & bright, great staff, can be a bit pricier than other stores for somethings

Their in-store delivery service is a wonderful gift to disabled people like me. The delivery guys always bring the stuff right into my apartment, which is something I NEVER get anywhere else.

If you choose a flexible time with Save-On it's only $5 for delivery. You have no idea how much this helps disabled people and seniors. I would never be able to get things like canned goods and other heavy items without delivery, now I can shop sales and stock my pantry and not have to worry about being stuck inside without food when it snows.

Save On Food Highgate. People working at this grocery are generally nice. I find what I am looking for. Veggies are fresh and fruits as well. It's all good.

Nice store. Nice staff worst produce. Been in 3 Save Ons they all have terrible produce.

Love shopping here. It’s close to home, clean, well stocked and knowledgeable friendly staff. Only constructive criticism is the bakery staff do not always have knowledge of basic goods such as what pound cake is is and once I called to order a cake they normally have and was told did not know what it was and to call back although I gave the correct name. I called back to speak with the customer service desk and problem solved

Cashier are very friendly and customer orientated, unlike Safeway burquitlam where they ignore you.

Always find this save on so dissapointing. The bakery rarely has buns, and the self check out is the worst! The weight scales are so finicky and won't let you put anything down on them, even your reusable bags, without having a temper tantrum.

Store manager Jon is a treasure. Absolute gem of a human being. A better display of patience I've rarely seen. Helping me with my rewards card while answering his employee and assisting another customer at the same time, all with a wonderful attitude and vibrant energy. Delightful customer service experience

Very nice location, love the selection of products. One of the managers John was wonderful, very helpful and accommodating.

I came by at night on Jan 7th.
The staff who has short hair and wearing glasses around self checkout helped me to get a gift card.
She was so nice to me and my family as well.
I thanked her warm hospitality.
I will definitely come back here more often!

Meat not fresh anymore. And not helpful when i did price match. Rude cashier at 9.50pm on 23 Oct. Reported about mask policy, i saw customers without mask still shopping in store

The best deal for Chicken Breast, comparing with all other grocery stores nearby.
Just because of this, I will be using Save-On-Foods for this.

Great supermarket in general with helpful and friendly staff. Many items have higher price for non card holders so keep an eye on that. Their own brand products are of very good quality compared to others. Their foreign product range in this particular store is limited but fairly priced.

Very friendly staff, especially Emma was very kind and patient with me returning a rug doctor rental. Thank you very much for your service:)

Still can't believe it is called Save on when the prices are at least double of what they are anywhere else. I only went there because I had a gift card.

My Aunt loves blue berry muffins and was looking for a six pack only to find out they were all sold out. Michelle the young girl at the bakery said wait one min and she took 2 assorted packs that had blueberry muffins and made 6 for my Aunt. Truly thankful for her doing that!

Train your cashier regarding price match guarantee, was told in store, Save on Foods does only price match Walmart.

The cashier went above and beyond to make sure that the plant that I bought was wrapped perfectly as it was a gift for a friend. Well done and thank you.

Best place to get your groceries done.the building has a lot of parking facility.the staffs of Save on are really amazing and helpful. Another good thing is there entire store is very tidy and stuffs are easy to find.

Friendly staff. Good vegan options. Can't beat the prices and selection of fresh items in the bakery department.

The underground parking is great and clean, plus well lit. There is security at the top of the escalator from the parking area. The store is smaller than most of the Save On Food locations, but deli, meats, produce and bakery folks are great. I don't need the pharmacy, so can't evaluate.

A few drawbacks are:
-The main door sensor is a bit slow, so I always have to pause or I'll run into it.
-If you don't have your rewards card, you have to go through a checks stand for them to put your number in.
-The music seems to be on the very young hip stuff, and not much variety. (I am voice over professional, so kind of notice that a bit more).

Overall, I like the store, but they do NEED to make sure their hours are CORRECT on every website or page they might be on. One site showed they were open until 11pm. Found that wrong at 10: 45 pm. They close at 10pm.

Please do something with this asian lady with glasses. Even though customer is waiting to buy, she keeps ignoring and does what shes been doing. This is not a first time and today i just walked out without buying. I wont say name here but she is always mean and never gives friendly service

Just called in for price check and the first thing the guy in the meat dept said was “I HAVE NO IDEA! ”. I literally lost my words and maybe he knew that was wrong from my silence so he went to check the price. I got the price anyway but I don’t think that’s how they are supposed to answer calls.

I've been going to save-on-foods since I was a baby with my mom. I never realized how expensive it was until we moved out of Langely to Burnaby where there more safeways and other grocery stores.

One thing I like is that Save-On is Canadian. But because it's not as popular as Safeway or Walmart (which are American), the price is very high. Even worse, there isn't any reward system like airmiles where you can redeem gift cards or products. You can only get discounts with the reward points.

At this store, I don't like how there are barely any staff visible to help. I'm always needing assistance finding ingredients- and to make it worse there isn't anybody in sight except customer service and cashier.

However, the staff are really nice. Mark, and (most of) the other guys are always willing to help (though it is their job lol).

But the variety isn't as wide as I thought. I only come here because it's close and because of good memories.

Cold medication and allergy medication is locked up after a certain hour and can't be opened. That is supposed to be over the counter medications.

One of my favourites with great parking and lots of specials even discounted stale dates pending at 30 percent off, convenient icbc office, cheap hair cuts, popular donairs shop (though I never liked the service)

One of the worst customer service! I brought the Lemon Roast Chicken and found it half BURNT half dry as cardboard! I and my family have to eat the part where it’s less burnt as we didn't prepare anything else (you can taste the burnt in the meat.), I brought it back to the store the next day to notify the manager.

Out of my expectations, the lady in charge said the chicken was SUPPOSED to be cooked this way because people like it like this and denied to take any responsibility.

We did not expect a refund or more but this customer service is highly unacceptable.

Don’t use the self checkout if you don’t have a Save On More card. They no longer let you use a store card I was informed when I asked an employee that I don’t have a card in my during the checkout process. I don’t live in the area anymore and my old key tag had all the numbers wear off. I’m not going to carry it on me either just in case I’m visiting in the area and stop to buy groceries. I had to pay for my groceries and then go to customer service and get a replacement card and a refund for the discounts, which if you don’t get, make some of the items overpriced. The self checkout complains about unexpected items in the bagging area every third item I scanned and there wasn’t an employee around each time to help without waiting. Otherwise the store is clean and well stocked. Just use the regular till if it doesn’t have a lineup if you don’t have a card.

Nice produce.best in the neighborhood. Prices vary.some things are priced well, others not so much. Not very good for asian foods, which is a bit of an oversight in this area.

Awesome place to shop for my 7 month old daughter and one off designer pieces tucked here and there! I love the home decor section. Tresbien merci beaucoup! Viva save on foods!

Exceptional Customer Service. I shop here at least thrice a week. I was trying to return a product without a receipt. Chris, the supervisor was extremely helpful and patient in trying to find the transaction. Very happy with the service offered.

It was my favourite place I love environment and all thing but I have to complain to solve the problems
Asia salad is my favourite I bought last night it was heavy and I payed almost double price but same size because they added more watery things with noodle and it wasn’t same quality

Very nice store with a well laid out interior and friendly staff. They also usually have customer washrooms.

Rented a Rug Doctor that ended up making my carpets worse. Save-on wouldn't even refund the rental cost and forwarded me to Rug Doctor.

Just want to make a shout out to the girls at the cash desk and customer service. Your always so awesome! Everytime I come into the store they are smiling and very polite and just cracking jokes it's great. Never knew you could be cheered up by just going to the store and grabbing some milk. Thanks again and keep on rocking It!
