Like any other place buying groceries you have to really scrutinize the pricing. Big BOLD letters what you think would be the price, but no it’s not. You have to buy 3 to get it at that price. Actual price was below it in small numbers and letters. Again this is a tactic used to catch you off guard and fleece your pockets.

Online order pickup staff is providing terrible, very rude and traumatizing customer service. The order had wrong billing and when i inquired the staff scolded me, Oct. 30,2023 8 AM shift, the woman was very rude, Oct. 30,2023 10: 30 AM shift, that gentlemen scolded me for inquiring about the wrong billing even though I showed him the online order details. Thanks to the manager who offered to help. After that gentlemen talked to me in such a unpleasant, scary and stern tone, my hands were shaking with tears in my eyes. Horror!

Depending on who works here or who's on shift, your shopping experience can be a dream or nightmare. Overzealoous security, high prices even with store savings card. Can no longer use change at self checkout, is card only now.

Good grocery store with a big selection of items. What is bringing me most to write this review was the cashier we dealt with - Claudia. She was so nice and kind and patient with us. She let us know about a special 1 day promotion because we were just a couple dollars shy of saving money. Most may have just let us through or not interact with us personably but she turned our night around. Thanks to the lovely staff at this location!

Inside shopping was Great, but picking up my online order was a little off the wall. The girl that was doing it was having difficulties with orders. She gave one lady infront of me all the wrong items

Ordered online for the first time, the delivery driver was super kind! Groceries were delivered promptly and he ensure that I was satisfied with the quality of the produce prior to leaving. Didn't get his name but he deserves a raise! Will be ordering again. Thank you!

Great customer service, Shelby in the deli was extremely helpful and friendly. She gave a good recommendation on the sun dried tomato turkey, gave me a sample and it is going to be my go to! Thanks Shelby!

I need a quick item was able to get in and out quickly. I wasn’t able to find what I was looking for but a nice lady helped me out and then even opened a new line to get me out the door efficiently. Great customer service!

I am disgusted with the filth that I saw in your deli department. After ordering some sliced meats and looking around, I could not believe how dirty the counters and floors were as well as an area where they seem to make salads. I was so shocked that I left the store without buying anything. I worked in a hospital kitchen and know for a fact that should a health unit be told of the filth in this store, in particular the deli, the store would be closed till a good in depth cleaning was completed. I’m wondering how you can get away with this without a lawsuit. Maybe that would be the next step. Surely you cannot expect that someone will not get sick by eating what comes out of your deli especially.

5-stars just for whoever does the playlist for this store. Always 80s bangers whenever I go in - Duran Duran, Eurthymics, Simply Red etc. Worth going here just for the great music while being price gouged (no, really). Keep up the awesome music.

Genuinely one of the worst save ons I’ve been in, constantly have their displays up in the wrong spot causing you to overpay, they refuse to honour rain checks OR honour prices when the staff put discounted displays in the wrong spot. I shouldn’t have to constantly bring my products up to the till for a price check because they put tags with the wrong products. The staff here needs a training overhaul and learn how to talk to customers.

Head office NEEDS to get involved with this location ASAP.

Murray from home delivery was very courteous, professional, Friendly, refused to take a tip, said hello to my noisy dog.totally impressed, even unloaded my groceries because i have a leg injury. Highly recommend

Helpful staff for the most part. The daytime customer service desk staff could be more efficient. Often, there's nobody there.

Her name was Evelyn
She went above & beyond in decorating & writing on the cake
Her service was beyond my expectation
I left so happy
I truly felt I have been a VIP customer
Save On Food is so lucky to have such employee like Evelyn

Not sure why they call it “save on foods” really expensive here. But hey that’s all cooperations these days you don’t make record profits by selling food at a reasonable price. THANKS JIMMY P!

Nick (taller guy, and competent) is back on security! I only shop there, don't work there, but I'm grateful after months off that he's back on security at this location- with a friendly face.

Good place to buy bulk/open food items.
Get more card to get discounted member prices. They have awesome cakes.

Hard to beat. Ish.

We've had some particular problems finding gluten free things at this location which the Cloverdale location carries. We've also occasionally had difficulty with the meat selection outside red meat and it's a bit difficult to navigate the store if your sobriety safety isn't that high as the wine selection is smack dab in the middle, and makes several key aisles like the baking goods aisle extremely uncomfortable to shop in.
