Save-On-Foods

Clean and organised grocery store, but prices are high and discounts are only for card members. I feel discriminated without a card.

Sashi was super friendly while helping us at the till. I would like to thank to Sashi and would love to see more smiling faces like her!

Decent sized store. Clean, tidy, and wasn't too busy on a weekend in the early afternoon

Go to this store on a weekly basis - lovely cashiers but pompous and non attentive self check out staff. Recently I was there and after nobody attending to my “assistance needed” machine for several minutes the one boy I asked for help very sneakily replied he’s on break and walked off (name tag was Vincent I believe). Today at self check out a lady in a white sweater was dismissive and spoke in a rather rude tone. She seems rather proud of her role as she made sure to point out “I work here” yet it does not show in her customer service.

Slow to restock pop, aisle is half empty for a week now. Get me some cherry coke zero yo.

Great staff in the bakery, especially Sima (?) not sure if I spelt it correctly, and the man who was working with her that day was also very kind (: was very knowledgeable and friendly

If it was purely staffs, I would give this place 5/5 stars. Friendly and they know lot of regulars that visit. And for the corporate giants that alone gives very "family store" feel that's none existent these days in many grocery shopping.
But let's face it. The name "Save-on-Foods" has become more of a branding and the "Save" on the name itself is such an oxymoron use. The very fact the Wholefood pricing is better on vegetables are laughable.
