Save On Foods really NEED to change the name of their store because it is seriously
far from it’s name!
I realize the cost of everything has gone up, but their prices are completely Ridiculously Insane compared to other stores…saving
$1-$2 on each single item, adds up!
Safeway isn’t far behind them!

I like save on foods for their fresh produce and nice deli section. Their prices are higher than other stores, but I usually come back because the quality is better.

They are what they showed me. Plot twists, racism, bullying, harrasment. They tried to manipulate me against the management. The management does not use the union laws properly. They spread rumors during work because they dont mind their business. They callled me a John Doe in my hiring process because i moved from a different province. Its very clicky and impolite. They ask all kinds of personnal questions. They use what you tell them against you.

I had the best cashier here. She turned my day from bad to good with her sweet personality.

Lots of variety, store clean and tidy. Fruit and vegetables galore reasonable prices. Too bad pharmacy is gone.

Not set up like my store back at home. Lol. I just thought they would all be the same and my shopping would be faster.

I like this store. It’s big and well stocked. Some unique items I don’t see at other grocery stores. I love the local product section. Nice produce. Great bulk section.

Decent layout, has a good variety of fresh products, friendly knowledgeable staff, has a section of local businesses.
The Save-on-foods in Burnaby has upgraded their deli section, but the Vernon location has not.
Love the chicken pot pie.

The cashier Josh working there. The best. Chefs kiss. Came in on a Friday, place was understaffed (not uncommon in these times) He was absolutely slaying it. Powering through the long line of people on till, doing call outs on the speaker for extra people, turning around and asking people what they needed help with at the unmanned service desk. He was all over the place, just bring the most helpful man ever. Dude deserves a raise. What a gem.

Mixed up, messed up, delay in meds, told me I should phone myself when prescriptions can only be transferred by fax not phone. Rude, and right out of a drug carried on my file. I filed a report with the store and the College. You would think they carried the brunt and not Specialists, Drs, and Nurses. She then told me we all have something to bare. When I returned the next day I was told a message was left for me. Since I had been in every single day for a week and it was not there I phoned so I don’t waste gas. These people have been paid to be professional, I am a senior with serious health issues. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY!

This is regarding my experience in Save on's online grocery order process. Online grocery ordering is cumbersome picking items and many items are not loaded into their online dictionary, their technology is outdated as gift cards cannot be used for online orders, they gave a bunch of my online grocery order away to the wrong person which resulted in me waiting for them to re-gather the groceries. Ultimately the process is not smooth. Their store motto is 'we go the extra mile for you'. Unfortunately in my experience shopping here, this motto does not ring true for a variety of reasons.

This Save-on has a lovely big deli! All kinds of meat and salads, beautifully laid out. Courteous, friendly staff too

Save on foods Lottery and pharmacy have great staff great people great service as for Save on Foods extraordinary service every staff member goes beyond what any grocery store personal had ever done thanks save on foods

So expensive.they also mislead you on prices.

Cantaloupe $1.47 a pound. (not kilo)
But a cantaloupe weighs 3lbs so it's almost $4.50

Same thing in Walmart. $2.47.finall price

Great grocery store. Line ups go fast. They have a large produce section that is pretty good. There are a lot of repeats though. I once counted navel oranges in 11 different spots. If you have that much room to fill why not get some variety instead like Valencia oranges that make a lot better tasting juice? They have a meat section but no butcher. They have a huge bulk section.

Avoid this location management is very porly run here.noon on a weekend and only having one normal checkout open with a massive lineup crazy! Go to aby other grocery store for better service. Had to drop my items and go elsewhere. Lots of staff though just dont give a damn about lineups

Big shout out to everyone working at Save On. I was so impressed with the precautions set up and how friendly the staff was. It almost felt "normal". Thanks you for being here for us!

A little expensive compared to Walmart or superstore. But the food has better taste. And can last longer than others.

Had an amazing experience at this grocery store an employee who wasn’t even working in the dairy area helped me get cream when the order had just arrived and she had to look through stacks and stacks of boxes with cartons in them. If I could remember her name I would recommend her for a pay raise and commendation! Thank you so much!

One of the better grocery stores in the Vernon area that we found. Had nearly everything we were looking for and prices were not too bad.

It's next to the liquor store! Store layout is good, big selection of bulk foods, very good pharmacy, friendly and helpful staff.

Costumer service was great here ask where a product was took me to product it was sold out in that spot he took me to another was sold out took me to another was sold out He said there some here they have it so he went to back and brought me 10 case now that costumer service

After what happen at there highway 6 I will go here. I did not feel I was being judged. They did there job. Did not judge a book by it cover. Training must be a Priority.

The three kids who they had working night shift couldnt answer any of my questions. And barely knew their jobs. Perhaps management shouldnt leave such young workers alone at night if they are not confident.

Too expensive go to iga instead you save more money and get more food also you won't find bugs in your food at iga

This store has horrible customer service went in to get a pack of cigarettes it was busy however I dont choose to stand in a line up of 12 to 15 people for cigarettes hence I went to the "customer service desk" a lady approaches me tells me I have to get in line thanks but no thanks I will.take my business elsewhere she says okay whatever then. That is not how you talk to customers I will be filing a complaint with head office

If I could give 0 stars I would I ordered a fruit cake to be picked up today (Sat) and when I got to the counter there was no cake. No record of it being ordered I was on my way to a barbecue and there was no cake. I was very disappointed and couldn’t believe that no one had any record of my phone order. As I was paying for my order another lady behind me said it happened to her too. They actually gave her cake away to someone else. Unfortunately I will not be doing business at this store again.
