Excellent customer service! Had my grocery online order ready 2 hours before and we happened to arrive for our trip early and they gave us our order! Friendly Awesome staff. Wish I had got the gals name in online grocery today she was super friendly and awesome, shout out to you today for having them all ready early! You deserve a bonus!

We’ve only been here twice. While on vacation. It seemed like a clean facility and the cashiers were nice. They had lots of options of food.

Terrible staff. Extremely rude in their speech and behaviour. Could not understand basic English. Threw the receipt at me. Store is mismanaged and disorganized. Meat and vegetables are at opposite ends of the store. Why?

We ended up here two days in a row. One of our party has strict dietary requirements. The restaurants in town didn't really accommodate this or were very expensive. Save On Foods rescued us with excellent chicken pot pies and delicious Thai chicken soup on the first visit. The second visit was for a gourmet sandwich with chips and a drink deal and snacks. Interesting to us, as visitors to Canada, to see what brands and what groceries might differ, and found the rolling shopping basket interesting. Bought a "Proudly Canadian" reusable bag, instead of paying for plastic bags, which became one of our souvenirs. Thanks to the deli employees for their time and kindness (first trip) and to the lady employee walking by who helped us out and the lady at check out (second trip). You all made grocery shopping in Fernie one of our pleasant experiences.

I just want to say thank you to Michelle who went out of her way to help me the other day. I dropped an entire jar of pickles on the floor and she stopped everything she was doing to clean it up for me. She was so kind about it. Thank you Michelle!

Would have to try other stores here first for groceries before I rate higher. Was ok as far as selection and price but to be fair I was in a hurry.

Should this grocery store be inspected by BC consumer protection as well as sanitary regulators, it would surely be shut down. Should you unfortunately find yourself obligated to make a stop st this place, be sure to inspect expiry dates on products as well as scanned prices vs advertised prices, For instance, we purchased a veggie plate advertised for 17.99 and were charged 29.99. The cashier was kind enough to begin the refund, but the manager’s approval came extremely hostile. We got refunded for the extra money paid but it still left us with a more than sour aftertaste in this business. Avoid this place at all costs. We will be switching to independent.

Why cant they have a couple more cashiers on at the busy times of the day. Line ups were 6 people long and only two tills open.

Great supermarket experience during our holiday in Canada. Fruit and veggies look great. Store is clean and very well organised. Broad assortment of products incl international brands. Best so far in BC.

Jayda and her mother are the rudest people I have ever met. Laughing at customers is unprofessional and disrespectful. The mother acts like a 15 year old girl and it’s putrid.

Best part about this place was the air conditioning in the summer, haha. A good selection, it's the main grocery store in Fernie. Save on Foods, in general, is a bit overpriced, so that is a factor here, but they have a good bakery section at this location, which is more than i can say about most other ones.

Regular (ie excellent) selection of Sav on foods groceries. Great to get such a selection of fruits and veggies.

Great place to park up and sit. One on the best Save on Foods car park I have been to. Didn't even make it into the store as I was having so much fun.

I wrote about a previous experience about the way I was treated by a employee. The manager was kind enough to call which I was not available to take but he left a very kind message.

I returned to the store tonight at 6: 00 pm and asked a question to the cashier who was helping me, I believe her name was Ashley very kind. She didn’t even have time to answer and the same cashier half turned and used his condescending attitude once again. This man apparently has hearing issues but he seems to hear fine when he wants to be rude. I told him I was not even talking to him and he smirked and turned away.

I hope management checks their cameras and sees how this man treats their customers once again. Definitely no more chances with this store, it makes me wonder if they even spoke to him the first time. Businesses wonder why there is not more local support?

I shop at the save on in my neighborhood in Calgary a couple times a week. It is awesome. This one in fernie not so much. No fresh made sandwiches, no fresh made salads. I asked at the deli counter at 1030 am on a Saturday when the fresh salads would be out. I was told there would be no salads this weekend. Did not know what to say. They had lots of sushi though, took my money and went else where to buy a salad.
