Nice, clean store. Terrible prices for most stuff. *update *. Went to customer service ti get something from the clerk and she was on the company phone line taking a personal and she made sure she took her time finishing that call before dealing with me. The customer service window there is terribly unprofessional

I got yelled by a cashier yesterday at around 5pm as I was going out after I paid my products but had already purchase and paid for cakes with a different cashier. To ask if I paid for these items loud i. Front of every customers that was in the store. Unfortunately cause my son was a bit fussy I had to leave without making a complaint. I didn’t not appreciate her tone like as If I stole these products.
Her name is Khousboo, she needs to learn how to talk to customers, and also not leave her station that was full of customers to run behind me.
It’s common send if u was stealing something I wasnt gonna leave it for everyone to see. I showed her both my receipts not even an appology for her mistake

Very bad customer service by neeta. She don’t know how to talk with their customers. Such kind of people should be fired from the store who don’t know how to speak with the customers.

Doesn’t deserve any rating. Such horrible customer service. I bought bread at their bakery and requested to slice it they informed its too hot to slice it and told me to buy their old bread. If its hot to slice then why are you even putting it on the shelves. Do you think all customers have slicing machine at home?

Tiny store, cold inside. They have no natural food aisle here. You can only reach parking from 1 street, and it is not marked where it is, you have to drive around and search for it. Only 1h of parking is free.
Overall the worst Save On ever.

The security guy with the black sunglasses needs to be humbled. He declined any service to us because one person recorded him manhandling a poor old guy outside the store. When he told us to stop and get a life, we did and went inside. It was a few minutes later when he found us inside and told the person at the bakery person to not serve us. He proceeded to start an argument with us in the middle of the store, not thinking about pulling us aside from the public eye. He said that we had an attitude, although all we did was stand up for ourselves. Plus he was the one who told us that we didn’t have a life. The manager was also not very professional and seemed to lack a lot of confidence. In conclusion, the employees at the store need a reality check and I do not recommend going to this store.

Management at this location judge you. Asked the customer service to use washrooms and Lady at customer service said, ”its only for paying customers”. But how would she know that if anybody is a paying customer or not, or May be she has special mind reading powers or something. Very bad experience, never expected this from Save on food

Has a little high priced items in general but milk, meat, eggs and bread are fresh and of good quality. I like how you can return plastic bottles and get the deposit here and redeem points for sale items almost every week

This place is more expensive than other places. But the cakes and the pies are so delicious.
If you tried another supermarkets you can see that it’s not as it called (Save-On-Foods)

I used to love coming to save on when they were beside canadian tire (best customer service) there was always a friendly vibe but since they are at new location customer service is not good any more just very poor

Nice to come here to purchase a few snacks but special cooked foods and what I love getting how they cook the chicken

Pathetic Customer Support.
I ordered 12x16 Unicorns Designed Strawberry Cake 2 weeks before my daughter’s birthday. They gave me price of $50. I was gonna pick it on Sunday (birthday). I received a call from them saying that the rate of cake is $86 and salesman told me wrong price. I was so annoyed and but they didn’t bothered. Even supervisor hardly cared and bluntly said this is what is is. I didn’t had time to order from anywhere else so not to ruin my daughter’s birthday I agreed to pay $86. Next day when i went to pick the cake. They didn’t made it with unicorn design and i was given numerous excuses. Oh man just an hour before birthday time all guests reaching home, someone can imagine. Anyhow they quickly decorated it and it was super bad and i left with the cake. When I came home cake was so dry and too sweet. Nobody ate it. I recommend do not eat or order anything from save on food. Quality is very bad.

There was at least 5 packages where the meat was being sold at a reduced price thar are clearly brown. I saw the butcher walk over look and do nothing. It wasn't until he was confronted by a customer about the meat color that he said he would remove the brown meat from being sold.

It's a good Save On Foods in a new developing community. It looks to serve the community well. The issue is the main entrance is hard for those on King George Hwy to find.

Security guards are not trained properly. Stereotyping Indigenous peoples. She was an arm's length from me and wouldn't leave my side till I got to the cash register. Unprofessional! Needs training in human behaviour of those who do steal. Not based of race.

Lovely new clean store, very good polite team members, all the new mod cons keeping their fruit and veg fresh. Well done. Let’s keep cleaning up along George Blvd and make it suitable for families.

I’ve noticed a couple of times now that this location doesn’t have the meat that’s on sale in the flyer. Won’t be going back unless absolutely necessary.

Man the chicken they sell here is rotten. I guarantee they are not doing something right because I’ve bought chicken 5 times and every time I open the pack I’m greeted with a foul smell. RIDICULOUS! Each and every time. Maybe its time to checkout Walmart.

The physical layout of the store and the selection of food is quiet good but the staff I dealt with on numerous occasions are quiet incompetent and unfamiliar with their products. Two main instances come to mind: 1. On the website mascarpone was in stock at the store but I could not find it after arriving at the store. The staff said they don’t sell it and I had to ask them multiple times to check whether it is located somewhere else in the store. After rolling her eyes, she checked and told me that it is not sold at this location. I walked to the bakery and saw mascarpone in the fridge near it. 2. I attempted to make a return without a receipt but with my rewards card. The representative at the customer service desk said she was covering and didn’t know how to do that. She asked me to come back. I came back after shopping and she still didn’t ask anyone for help, told me I couldn’t make a return or get store credit.
I am unclear why customers need to waste their time at the store with incompetent staff members who are unwilling to do their jobs.

Decent grocery store, pretty clean, not a lot of selection if you want international foods, and self serve checkout is kinda glitchy.

It may be strange to review a grocery store but this one is above and beyond and certainly goes the extra mile. Well lit, colourful and attractive displays abound, coupled with very helpful friendly staff who are always so happy to help you. There's a superb cafe with all the fancy coffees and drinks you can want, plus a separate cozy seating area for eating.
The Pharmacy Staff are next to none in terms of friendliness, efficiency and expertise. Everything is illuminated, very clean and superbly presented, making shopping here both pleasant and interesting. Convenient underground free parking with an elevator right into the store and Darrell's ' Save on Shoppers, Save on! '
is very evident now with literally hundreds of great prices on a wide range of products. We have been to both new stores and this outshines on that extra mile. Well done everyone there and keep it up, cost it's working. Really great store!

We live in the neighborhood and help out older neighbours picking up prescriptions, etc. Save On only allows one free parking visit per day. Wow I guess they don’t need our business. If you have to pop back for something you have to pay. Not a good business model. Just saying.

Is ridiculous why you have to pay for parking in this store when you coming to spend money, I will never come back again.

The billing person asked if i have the reward card. I said no. And that was it, they did not bother to disclose that their price tags are deceptive and the low prices are only applicable to morerewards card holders.
When I realized the bill amount is higher than expected I went back and then the person at the counter said the difference in the shown prices in image is given in the form of rewards points. For not letting go of my 11something dollards I had to get their rewards card.
I do not appreciate such sneaky business.

Parking Nightmares! King George Hub is a mouse trap in a maze. I almost got hit, the parking isles are too small, older people get confused and almost drive in to you.forget it.not shopping there unless I happen to walk by it. It’s catered to the apartment buildings above it, and that’s all. Nope, nope, nope. Good luck trying to get in out without feeling trapped.

The parking is very bad. The spots a so small I had to back up twice and I have a small car. Seems they are catering to small electronic cars. I will find a new store.

This place is pretty convenient. There is a lot to make up for the slightly higher prices if you have a card too. A lot of things I get elsewhere are cheaper here when buying multiples.
So far the meat, produce, and deli sections are amazing. Everything looks good quality.
My only complaint is the lack of gluten friendly options. They exist here, but Walmart has a much better selection.

Won't shop at this location again.hard to find the entry, underground parking is a nightmare and you have to pay for parking (1 free hour if registered).
Prices are higher, selection is lower and checkout is another nightmare. Go to the one on 4th Ave and 156. Far better experience!

It seems this Save on is closing, which sucks I just found it in my area.

Newly opened, in the heart of the super modern, futurist, King George Hub, just steps away from King George SkyTrain station. Amazing!

Went here and what a joke this place is pay parking and also the store is very small with hardly any space to move around and also hardly any thing to get. The one on 156 and 104th is a lot better then this one never coming here again

Not a bad little store, the parking isn't the greatest, but I didn't have too much of a problem, but I might have if I had a large truck. There is 1 hour free parking all you need to do is enter your plate, then take the elevator up.

There appears to be a few entrances. There is one off Fraiser that takes you down a side road ish, go almost the full roundabout, that's the entrance to the parkade. Pay your parking and take the elevator up. Saveon is right next to the elevator (its almost behind you i think to your left). Just pay attention when you leave the parkade, do not enter signs arent very obvious.

Bakery look like it shrunk a bit, which is disappointing.

This store has a very convenient location, close from our condo. This new store has a lot of fresh produce, bakeries, a large variety of products. The prices are very good for the items advertised in the flyers but for the rest, the prices are way tooo high comparing with Walmart.

Found everything I was really in a rush for last moment birthday party stuff and cashier was very helpful.

Good place for groceries shopping. Well managed and organized store. You can easily find what you want and if you find any difficulty in locating the goods you can simply take the help of store assistants. Store is very well maintained and billing section was also properly managed. Staff was friendly and cooperative. You can easily find parking and carts over there.

I really like Save on foods to shop at.their prices are comparable to the big box stores and their staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. There produce and meat is always fresh and well priced with a large selection that is one of the best I have seen. The prices on cereal is some of the cheapest that I've seen out of any other grocery store. I would definitely recommend shopping here as I have never had a bad experience and always get my money's worth.

I LOVE this location! All the fellows from the management team are professional and friendly & the store is very clean and well organized. The store is also spacious enough that even during a busy spurt, you have plenty of space to yourself. I've moved a bit further away, but will gladly take the extra drive to shop here.

I enjoy shopping at this Save-On-Foods but today I had a very unpleasant encounter like no other with an older European woman named Nina working at the Hot foods service counter. It only takes ONE rude, unprofessional employee to make an otherwise reputable place look bad. I cannot stress enough the importance of having good customer service skills, especially in a front facing customer role.

It was a little hard finding my way around the place to get all the things I needed. Not putting all the blame on Save-On it could have been an off day 4 myself as well.

Organized and well maintained store with fresh items. Always we will get good deals. Parking lots are more and in one stop we can go for many stores. It's convenient.

Love store I went this afternoon get few things in Newton save on foods wish they would be more careful way they do things fell over a device holding baskets of idams last was handling cart of boxes di dnt let me pass i fell to the ground hurting my new I'm okay some people asked me I'm okay while getting up of the ground other people asked me I'm okay I said I'm alright those stands beside fruits are hazerts and vegs with baskets on display no good someone easle will get hurt stumbling over them I'm glad u di dnt get hurt when I fell.

A bit expensive, but has just about everything you would need for cooking. Good spice selection, and has a surprisingly solid desert selection.

Always loved this place. I only go here for fresh cut meats. The butchers are always friendly and take the time to explain the different of cuts. Not to mention they also know great ways the prepare the cut you buy. Fresh produce is an always here and the facility is always clean and fresh smelling! A great place to fill your cupboards and fridge.

I really wonder how they can keep their customers happy. Been there three times in a row to buy "Deli-CAN-tessen" chicken satay and they don't have it since a few weeks.
I've asked many months ago why they don't have the Grissol Crackers Melba UNSALTED and the manager would give me a call. I'm still waiting!

I get there early and because of that, there are very limited deli options. Layout of the store seems more awkward than the other Save-On-Foods I’ve been to; but the store is clean and the staff are nice.

Very helpful staff. And it's absolutely massive so you can count on this location to meet most of your grocery needs.

The satff is really cooperative and great. RINA and KHUSH were really nice and helpful.they helped us even when the bakery was closed.

The double prices are deceptive though. Everything has a actual price and a club member's price.

For Canada it's a normal grocery store, charge you for everything including bags and a security guard to watch.

I've been here 3 times in the last week and they never had the lumberjack sandwiches that I'm looking for. Disappointing.

A half-dozen times over the last couple of years I've tried to return items with a bad or broken seals or merchandise that has expired. I've always been met with resistance and staff quoting store rules to me about keeping my receipts for a can of store brand beans with a badly crimped lid or a bag of store brand frozen berries with a slash in it that I didn't notice when I bought it. Etc etc. The last employer I had to deal with that was problematic was Rina.rude and just so rigid in her ways. I finally had it!

If you keep treating your customers like this you're going to lose more of us. Has good service just disappeared from this world we live in? *Sigh*

Very nice Deli & Fish departments. Store well stocked & organized; but regular items very expensive-although couple good advertised items (watch for Darryls deals) Should you like bulk foods (lower priced than regular shelf items) there was very large selection & lots of variety! Sav-on-foods have very good quality fresh meat similar to Costco who have excellent quality meat. Checkout service (dont include self checkouts, which I personally hate) is USUALLY better than the other supermarkets! Eventhough I was asst.mgr.for a competitor, I prefer Sav-on-foods for all reasons previously stated.

Sherly from bakery is amazing great customer service. Mike is the store manager and he's awesome. I was in a hurry and I left my backpack on my car seat and he was kind enough to go have a look if it was safe. He also saw me walking back and forth in bakery looking for something and he was so nice to come and help me and give me ideas because the item that I was looking for wasn't cooked yet

Save On is a good place to shop because they carry a good selection of products that most people use daily in their homes and life's!

Dropped off a 1 item prescription at the pharmacy at 2pm. Was given 15 minutes to collect it. Waited at the prescription pickup counter from 2: 15pm to 2: 45pm and no one came to help or assist me.

Then a relative of mine who sometimes works at the pharmacy part-time went inside to ask them only then someone came up to help me. Extremely poor customer service and a major waste of my day.

A smaller Save-On but still good. Pharmacy, bakery, deli, bulk foods and ethnic foods. Free parking with Canadian Tire.

I have been visiting this store for quite sometime and have had a couple of instances where I felt Rina at the customer service desk wasn’t polite enough when I went to return bottles to get my deposit back. Today I had another instance where I saw a customer yelling and I felt it was an unreasonable behavior. Then comes my turn, I wanted to return a phone case which I had bought for the wrong model. I told her that I don’t have the receipt but The record is on my membership card to verify the purchase and she said she can’t do anything if I don’t have the receipt. I emphasized again that the purchase can be verified from my card and she reluctantly did it and asked me to “make sure” to have the receipt the next time! Save on charges premium prices for most products when compared to superstore and Walmart. I don’t expect that sort of customer service. I am sure her attitude would have been noticed by the store managers but surprisingly nothing has been done

Good, clean, cheap grocery store. I prefer Safeway across the street but this is a good alternative.

This Save On location needs better management with a lot better customer service respect as well as some of the employees need an attitude adjustment also. I can see why so many of the previous customers that used to shop at this location have chosen to go elsewhere such as Walmart, Superstore, T&T etc.who treat you like a person and respect you in so many ways. Other competitors of this Save On Foods location do not question or refuse any shopping apps or flyers you have for price matching so be aware of this when going to this location as you may be going elsewhere to get what you need at what you can afford to buy. No wonder their parking lot is not as packed as it once was when the previous manager was there who transferred to a different location. In addition to this, some of the staff that once worked at this location requested a transfer or quit after the previous manager left. Just goes to show how treating people like they should plays a big role but maybe some of the staff here didn't get the memo.
